megans statement

Declan had sent the squad out with his plan now in place and he had olivia taken to the precinct with him and a couple officers so he could keep an eye on her. He knew what olivia was known to do if left to her own devices.

Olivia was sitting in the cribs with her face in her hands just sobbing. Olivia was usually the one who kept things together and had told parents many times to let the officers do this jobs but it was different with her own child on the line and she now knew how those parents must have felt. She finally managed to calm herself down enough to look in to her laptop for family property or favorite places william liked to frequent in hopes of figuring out where he would keep her daughter.

Amanda was at the hospital with fin to question Megan since she had just woken up. "Megwe need to know what happened. I know this is hard but anything you remember will help us find him and Clarissa." Amanda said.

Megan shook her head then replied "He told me only to speak to olivia or he would kill Clarissa." She said in tears.

Fin looked at the young woman and said "you can tell us and we will get the information to her."

Megan shook her head once again "he said he would be watching and he'd know. I need to see olivia."

Amanda and fin looked at each other as amanda swallowed hard but nodded and left the room and called lieutenant Murphy.

Olivia was just coming out of the cribs and heard Murphy on the phone "no. She will have to tell you. It is too dangerous to bring benson there." Murphy replied in to the phone.

Olivia stepped in without knocking to the office that had once been hers "Megan wants me at the hospital?"

"Yes...but your not going." He said definitively.

"Yes I am. If he threatened her she's never going to tell them." Olivia defended.

Murphy sighed cause he knew olivia was not going to let this go. "Fine but I'll drive you." He said then told Amanda "we will be there in 10 minutes."

Once they arrived olivia went strait in to Megan's hospital room followed by Murphy.

Megan looked at olivia and more tears came to her eyes. "Olivia...I'm so so sorry...i...I tried to stop him."

Olivia touched her leg "I know Megan. Now you told Amanda and fin that he wanted you to tell me something what is it?"

Megan hesitated glancing at Declan then back at olivia "He said to tell you what he did to me that you'd like to hear the details and he said....you have to tell the truth. He said you'd know what that meant."

Olivia's breath hitched knowing exactly what william meant. She then looked at Megan "ok Megan you can tell me anything your comfortable with."

Megan glanced back at Declan and olivia looked at him too and said "lieutenant could you give us a moment?"

Murphy hesitated but nodded and left the room.

After several minutes olivia emerged from the hospital room rubbing her hand down the lower part of her face.

"You ok liv?" Amanda asked but olivia just shook her head and didn't speak. Then Murphy came over and pulled her aside.

"She said he wants you to tell the truth. You know what that means?" Murphy asked.

Olivia nodded but still didn't speak.

"Does it have anything to do with your testimony against him in the last trial?" Murphy continued.

"Yes it does" she finally replied "and I'm going to do it so please excuse me..." she started and went to walk around him. He stopped her and shook his head as he whispered "no you are not."

"He will kill my baby if I don't." She said in a shaky voice.

"And if you do it then you gave him what he wanted and he could kill her anyway. You wait and we will figure something out." He replied.

"No! I am not gambling with my child's life lieutenant!" She said angerly.

"Just give us a few hours. If we don't find him then I won't stop you." He said.

She hesitated but nodded slowly in agreement "4 hours then I'm doing it." She replied and walked away.
