a beastly escape

Olivia and nicks relationship had been strained for the last couple weeks. Olivia seemed more on edge because of it but did her best not to let it effect her job. The wee before she had taken Clarissa for another forced visit with William that seemed more excruciating then the first. He kept whispering things she couldn't hear in to Clarissa ear and it made her even more edgy but after the visit she just tried to push it out of her mind.

She was just about to leave the apartment that morning and she kissed her daughters head like she always did and smiled wavering at her and Megan the nanny. Olivia then left driving to the courthouse to meet up with Rafael about a case that was going to trial soon. She stopped by the coffee stand outside the courthouse and picked up coffee for the two of them. As she turned to walk away with the cup holder gripped in her hand her phone began to ring with an unknown number video chat. She hesitantly opened it and then the drinks fell to the ground with a splash as she seen Williams face inside a car.

"Morning sunshine. Don't worry we will see each other soon." He said then pointed the camera to the back of the car. What she saw then made her heart stop as Williams voice came over again. "Say see you later mama." Olivia was in pure panic mode now seeing her 1 year old daughter in the back seat of the car being driven by William. She went to speak but the call ended before she could.

Olivia immediately text rafa and the squad and told them what had just happened as she drove back to her apartment as quickly as possible.

When she arrived she found Megan restrained naked and tortured to her bed and olivia got on the phone calling for a bus and csu to get to her apartment. Megan was still alive but barely.

The paramedics arrived and began working on Megan soon after the squad began to show up as well. By this time olivia was in the nursery leaning against the wall trying to steady her breathing. Amanda walked Ina dn sighed and rushed to her to hug her. "We will get him liv and we will find Clarissa."

"He has my baby girl Amanda. God only knows what his plan is for a child as little as she is....how did this even happen?!" She yelled out of fear and anger.

Fin walked in hearing the question and said "apparently he had a heart attack and was claimed to be legally dead but reawakened to kill a guard and escape with a nurses car. The nurse he also killed in the prison ward at Bellview."

"He must have been planning this for a while that's why he smirked at me so much whenever I brought Clarissa for her visit." Olivia sighed with tears begin to escape down her cheeks.

While the squad was talking and planning with olivia in her living room lieutenant Declan Murphy arrived.

"Ok so that's the plan." Olivia finished but Declan interrupted "no it's not. You are not working this case Sargeant."

"The hell I'm not! He has my daughter." She glared.

"Yes but you are his main target so you are to stay in a safe house or at the precinct but you are not to go anywhere alone or be out working this case." He said in a commanding tone.

"I'm the acting leader of this squad so I'll decide that." She fought back.

"Not anymore. I have been appointed acting leader of svu until otherwise specified." He said matter of factly.

Olivia was caught off guard and shook her head "I will not just stand back and do nothing when my daughters life is on the line!"

"You can and you will or I will make sure a disciplinary action is put in your jacket and your Sargeant status revoked." He said sternly.

Olivia gave him a death glare and stormed back in to her daughters nursery.
