Chapter 4

Lucas and cabel reached athy's house. Cabel went with helena to her rooftop and lucas went inside with his luggage.

"hii.. Lucas..welcome " athy said with a smile as soon as she opened the door..

"hii.." he said as he went inside..

" your room is upstairs.."

athy said and he followed her to his room... His eyes wided in surprise as soon as he entered.

" is this mine..?" he asked her surpsied.

"yeah.. You don't like it ..?" she asked tilting her head.

"no.. I mean.. You are giving this room to Me...?" he asked confused.

"yeah.. You said you are working from home so I thought you need more space.. This room is the only one with working space.. Do you need anything else..? " she asked and he tilted his head and looked behind her left and right...she also turned back confused.

"are you searching for something ..?" she asked confused.

"hmm.. Your wings.. Where are they..? You are an angel fallen from Heaven.. aren't you..?"

he said still searching behind her and she giggled. He stared at her silently with a small smile..

" is that a compliment..? If it is.. Then thank you.. "she said in between giggling and smiled at him.

"of course it is, Thanks.. I like this room"

he said as he patted her head and went inside putting down his luggages .. She touched her head where he patted.

' I am not a child..' she thought and then went inside helped him unpack his things..

" here.. "she handed him a bunch of keys..

" spare keys...? "

" yeah.. Do you need anything else..? "

" nope.. Everything is already more than enough.. " he said playing with keys.

" then I will Get going.. "she said and left the room...

" are you going out..? "he asked as he Sat on his bed.

" hmm.. I have morning classes .. "she said turning back..

" class..? you're university student..? "he asked tilting his head. She nodded a yes.

" what's your major..? "

"I am a third year psychology student" she said and he gave her a 'oh I see..' look .

" then.. See you later" he said and laid down on the bed. She went outside.

' thank God it's not as awkward as I thought..' both thought and sighed in unison.

Lucas heared knocking sound and went down.. He looked around and the house was empty and silent.

'I think she left already..' he thought and opened the door to see cabel standing there smiling.

" hii.. Neighbour.." he said with a grin.

" come inside.." lucas said in bored tone.. He closed the door and went upstairs.. Cabel followed him.

"ohh your room was upstairs..?"

"yep"

He gasped as soon as he saw his room..

"is this your room..?!! Your room is equal to my whole place.. Wow.. Did she give this for you..?" he asked in surprise.

"yeah.." he said and smiled proudly..

"wow it even have working space.. !!We can set our systems here.." cabel said and lucas nodded a yes.

"I am also thinking of that.. When will our things get delivered..?"

" In thirty minutes I guess..?" cabel shrugged.

"stay here.. let's finish Setting up ..then let's go to yours and.. What shall we do for rest of the day..? "

"hmm.. Let's go out.. when the girls came back .." cabel said with a grin.

" you.."

"wait.. Why I want to go with them was.. We have to treat them for letting us stay here.. And you.. You should get close to her. you two looks totally like strangers .. No one will believe you two are lovers.." he said interrupting lucas.

"haah.. Fine fine.."

he said and sighed. They continued bickering until they heared the vehicle sound they went down like children running to get thier Christmas gift and opened the door excited.. Their eyes sparkled when they saw their system speakers and other things were taken out from the truck..they took Them inside and started setting the room and they lost track of time..

" lucas let's have lunch.. I am hungry.." cabel whined as he nudged lucas whose eyes are fixed in his work.

" five minutes.." he mumbled.

" I will go first I am dying of hunger.." he said as he went down.

Lucas heared sounds of chatting and laughing as he came out of the room.. He looked down and saw the girls are back and they are sitting along with cabel on the dining table..

'this punk is having fun huh..' he thought as he went down..

"ohh you finally came down..?" cabel asked as he took a spoonful of pasta and stuffed his mouth. Lucas Sat beside athy and she served him pasta.

"thanks.." he mumbled before stuffing his mouth and they all ate in silence.

" thank you for the food.. So delicious... athy you cook really well.." cabel said with a satisfied smile as he finished eating.

" I am glad you like it.." athy smiled back.

" you made this..?" lucas asked with a surprised face and continued eating . She nodded a yes.

" how is it..? "helena asked grinning.

" it's good.. " lucas said slowly nodding his head.

" wow...look at you complimenting your girlfriend.. So the word good existed in your dictionary all this time huh ? "cabel said in a dramatic way which made the girls chuckle.

" I just added it today.. " he shrugged.

" hey girls are you free today..? "cabel asked smiling..

" can we hang out..? I am so bored.. "helena said and both did a hifi.

" they clicked from their first meeting.. "athy said in a low voice smiling staring at her friend happily making plans with cabel.

" I know right..? Cabel likes helena.. I guess something like love at first sight.."lucas said back in a voice only she can hear cause the other two are being loud.

" really..? "athy asked turning towards him with curious eyes..

" hmm... Really.. "he said and got up with his plate.. Athy cleared the table and walked towards the sink..

" I.. I will do the dishes.. "she said standing beside him..

" It's okay.. I will do "

he said taking the dishes in her hands and started washing them. Athy stood there looking at him confused. He glanced at her

' why is she standing here looking at me like a lost puppy..? Is it because I didn't let her wash..?' he thought and his lips curved Into a small smile.

"here.. I will wash.. You wipe and stack them.. Let's do it together OK..?" he said as he handed her a plate.

"OK.." she said smiling and started wiping the plate with a towel and placed it on the rack.

"hey.. Hey look there.." helena whispered as she came close to cabel.. His heart skipped a beat hearing her voice in whisper, her hand touching his.

"wh.. What..?" he asked slightly blushing.

" oh my..!! They are washing dishes together.. They look good even while  doing dishes  don't you think...?"

"yeah.. They look good together.." cabel said smiling.

" let's go.. We have to get ready.. And we should give them alone time.." helena said as she got up and cabel followed her.

"guys.. We will get going.. we will come back in half an hour.. Be ready before that OK... Bye" helena said and they went back to thier house.

" haah.. I just want to stay home "

lucas mumbled as he removed the rubber gloves done with washing dishes.Athy looked up at him and took a step towards him. She held out her hand and caressed his cheek.. Lucas stared at her his eyes fixed on hers.

" then.. shall we don't go ..? " she asked and smiled. Their eyes met. He stared at her without blinking and she took her hand away.

"that.. You had foam on your cheek .." she said hesitantly..

"it's ok.. And cabel won't let me be so let's go "

he said finally breaking eye contact and turned away..

"then... I will go and get ready.."

he said and walked upstairs.. Athy went back to her room after him. Lucas put on his shirt and stared at his reflection on the mirror his hand touched the spot she caressed subconsciously.

'at that time.. I thought my heart stopped for a second.. What was that weird feeling..?!' he thought caressing his chest with other hand.

Helena and cabel came back in half an hour like they said and four of them get on the car. Lucas Sat on the driver seat with athy beside him. Cabel and helena Sat back.

"why am I the one driving...?" lucas asked in a irritated tone

" because you picked the small stick" cabel said with a smirk .

"so that stupid game was for this huh.." lucas sighed.

"anyway let's go.." helena said and they get off to their trip to the girl's favourite restaurant on top of nearby mountain.

" yeah but I don't believe in Google map so tell the way properly .." lucas said

" don't worry I am better than Google" helena said proudly ..

" it's my first time driving a jeep.. it's fun.." lucas said as they were on thier way.

"then.."

"no way.. you are the one driving down.." lucas said interrupting him knowing what he is gonna say

"alright alright.." cabel said pouting.

They stopped on the way for a while since athy wanted to sunset

" is it this place..?" lucas asked as they Sat on a big rock.

" hmm.. We can clearly see sunset from here " athy said her eyes fixed on the breath taking view of mountain ranges, a small smile plastered on her face. Lucas stared at her for a while.

"you like sunset..? " he asked  and turned to look  at the majestic view in front of him.

"hmm.. I like.. Sunsets are one of the things which I never get bored no matter how many times I look at them.." she said.

As she finished they witnessed the Magestic view of sunset setting down behind hills and the layers of clouds beneath and underneath the sun changed from orange to shades of pink..

" hmm.. Indeed it is.. " lucas mumbled and she nodded her head.. Thier eyes still fixated on the majestic view.

"Athy..lucas..Let's go.." helena called them. They got up and walked towards them.

"are you done athy..? Shall we go..?" helena asked.

"yeah. Let's go.." she said and they rided a bit more to reach thier final destination, the restaurant.

" cabel you know the food here is.." helena and cabel went inside first chatting.

" Do you guys visit often..?" lucas asked

"yeah.. We do.. Since I like to see sunset helena accompany me and we get acquainted with the owner of this restaurant." athy said as they entered after them.

They saw helena was talking with a woman happily and she waved a hii to athy as soon as she saw her and athy waved back.

" she is the owner of this restaurant stella aunt " she said and lucas noticed that lady was staring at him.

" athy.. I don't know you have a boyfriend.. Oh my.. !! He is so handsome.. You two look perfect together" she kept talking.

" hello I am lucas nice to meet you..." lucas said slightly bowing..

" hello lucas.. Come guys.. sit here.." she said finally letting them sit.

"for you two your usual right..? For the boys ..?" she asked.

"get us the same too we want to try.." cabel said and she smiled at him.

"OK ok.." she said walking towards o the kitchen.

she came back with four sets of pajeon.

"here is your order.. eat well..." she said smiling and went back.

"what is this..?" lucas asked staring at the dish in front of him.

"it's Korean pancake called pajeon.. It's made with scallion in a pan so, pajeon. " she explained and he took a bite.

"hmm.. It's tasty.." he said .

"I am glad you like it.." she said and smiled.

They finished eating. Helena wanted to order drinks but Cabel kept whining to her not to order since he have to drive.

"lucas can you please go and order instead of me...?" she said and lucas got up sighing.

" shall I come with you..?" athy asked and was about to get up but he told her to sit back and went alone.

"excuse me.. Three bottles of soju please.." he said and the lady turned towards him.

"ohh.. Lucas.. You want soju..? Wait wait.." she said and took out the bottles and paper cups.

"lucas.. Take good care of our athy .. You are so lucky to have such a nice girl as your girlfriend.." she said smiling...

"yeah.. I will.." lucas said and smiled back.

"wh.. What..? Athy have boyfriend..? Really..?" a guy said gasping. Lucas stared at him for a while then he went back to thier seat. He saw athy talking to a old lady.he turned and saw that guy glaring at him from distance.

" what the hell..? " he mumbled.

" what..? "helena asked.

" that guy kept glaring at me "he said and she turned to see who is that.. She started laughing as soon as she saw him.

" pfft haha.. ohh.. Him.. Don't mind him... He have a huge crush on athy.. So it must be hard for him to digest the fact that you are her boyfriend.. "she said in between laughing .

" it looks like you become his enemy "cabel said.

" he is just one of them.. There are so many guys other than him.. Hmm.. Come to think of it.. Can you guys come to the church coming Sunday ..? " she asked.

" huh.. Church..? Why..? " lucas asked

" come.. Then.. You will know why.. "she said and smiled.

" OK we will.. "cabel readily agreed.

" many guys have crush on athy..?  And They will come to church right..? "cabel asked and she nodded. They exchanged a mischievous grin.

" I can't wait to see thier faces . "

" me too "

They said and hified. Lucas stared  at them with a bored face.

"what are you guys talking about..?" athy asked as she came back and Sat beside lucas.

"nothing.. I asked them to join us for prayer this weekend.." helena said and smiled.

"I see.."she said and they continued chatting.
