Chapter 5

Cabel glared at helena pouting and she gave a sheepish smile to him.

" sorry cabel.. but I really want to drink today" she said smiling.

" what happen..? Oh because you can't drink?" athy asked

"yeah..." he said and looked at her with a sad face.

" I will drive back.. you can drink.." she said and smiled.

"really..? Thank you.." cabel smiled happily as his hand reached the paper cup filled with soju but lucas grabbed his hand.

" nope.. You are the one driving.. why should she drive..? " he said taking away the cup and drinking it in one gulp.

"lucas.. I can.."

"shh... Just drink don't mind him.. here.." he said putting his finger on her lips and handed her a cup on the other hand.

"but.."

"drink drink.. just drink.." cabel said and stood up.

"I will go and order fruit juice for me.. You should drink.. Cause  It's our treat"

he said and walked  away. They were drinking in silence. athy was already drunk helena is staring at her cup for five minutes now and lucas was unfazed cause he have high tolerance.

" lucas... hehe... you should brace yourself.." helena whispered to lucas finally ending her staring contest with  the cup.

"for what..?" he asked confused.

" your girlfriend.. She will become extra cute if she is drunk.. She is always cute.. But she will get irresistibly cute when she is drunk.." she said and patted his back.

" but she drank only like  three shots.." lucas said staring at athy who is looking at the other side dazed her cheeks flushed pink .

" she.. Have low alcohol tolerance "she said and took another shot.

" I see.."lucas  said nodding his head  as he took the soju  bottle away from helena. 'but I should make you stop drinking first' he thought and saw cabel walking towards them.

" are you guys done.. Shall we get going..? " he asked and lucas handed him the keys.

" first.. Take her with you.." he said handing him the car key in one hand and pointing at helena on the other hand.

"OK.." cabel said smiling and nudged her shoulder.

"helena get up let's go" he said and she looked up at him.

"haah.. Why..? Let's stay a bit more.." she whined and lucas controlled his laughter when he saw him staring at her with heart eyes blushing.

" hey don't laugh.. You will also look like me  someday.."

he said and dragged helly along with him. Lucas stood up giggling and turned towards athy.

"come on .. Let's go.."

he said tapping her shoulder. She turned towards him and smiled.

" lucas.." she cutely called his name  and smiled. Lucas stared at her surprised.

" wh.. What..?"

" lucass.." she called him again still smiling.. Hearing his name called sweetly in her voice made him .. felt warm all over his body.

' this is strange.. This place is so cold why I feel hot suddenly..?' he thought as he took off his jacket.

" yeah yeah.. I am lucas.. Let's go.. Come on.. Get up "

he said offering his hand to her so that she will get up holding it  but  he was caught off guard whe she leaned her face on his hand instead of getting up.

' bathump.. Bathump..'

He stood there staring at her stupified.. not knowing what to do.. His heart beating in fast pace.

'she will get irresistibly cute when she is drunk'   helly's words echoed in his ears .

"haah.. she is right.."

he mumbled  as he crouched down to  match her head level his hand still holding her face. He Stared at  her closely.

"hey.. Sia.. Let's go.. It's getting late.." he said in soft voice a small smile which he have no idea was there in his face.

"hmm.. I like it.. Thanks.." she mumbled and smiled.

"huh.. What..?" he asked tilting his head trying to make eye contact with her but her eyes are still closed.

" you.. Calling me sia.. No one ever called me like that.. I really like it.. Thank you.." she said as she slowly opened her eyes.. He stared at her surprised.

" I see.. Then I gave you a new name huh.."

he said and he realised she was cold. He  helped her stood up but she can't stood steady.

" you are cold.. "he mumbled as he covered her with his jacket.

"  So warm... " she said smiling her cheeks flushed red.

" let's go.. "he said but she already started walking in the opposite direction in zig zag.

" hey.. It's this way.. "he said running behind her and stopped her from walking. He realised she was so drunk to walk straight and sighed.

" woah.. "she gasped as  she was caught off guard when  he suddenly  carried her in  princess style and walked towards their car.

" am I heavy..? " she asked tilting her head trying to see his face.

" hmm.. So heavy.. I thought you will be lighter since you are lean  but you are heavy.." he said his eyes fixed on the way.

" tch.. You should have said no I am not.. I am hurt.. You jerk.. "she said  and pouted cutely  . Lucas chuckled at her cute reaction.

" I don't see any need to lie "he said smirking and she gave him a light hit on his shoulder.

" ouch.. Stay still  or else I will drop you.. "he said acting like he would actually drop her and she grabbed his neck startled.

" no..no don't.. "she said and grabbed him tightly. He smiled walking towards their car and cabel stared at him with a smirk.

" I know this day would come.. But I didn't expect it to  happen so soon.." he said with a mischievous smile then started laughing .

" what idiot..? "

" look at your face right now.." he said laughing hard.

Lucas turned and saw his face on the side mirror and saw a light hue of pink.

" no way.. It must be because I drank so much.. "he said as he placed her on the back seat and closed the door.

" ohh.. You never got blushed from drinking  before even if you empty two to three bottles on your own .. But now.. "cabel said in a teased tone and lucas shut the door loudly  sitting beside athy.

" OK.. OK.. Don't show your anger on the poor door. "

cabel said chuckling and started the car. They went down the hill.. Their drive back home  was silent since The girls are sleeping and cabel's concentration was fully on the road.lucas can't believe he blushed so he secretly saw his face on the front camera of his phone without cabel knowing.

' I really blushed..? Me..? This is the first time.. It's all because of her..' he thought and turned towards her and saw her sleeping like a baby.

'no.. no don't look at her lucas..' he thought and turned the other way and looked outside the window only to see darkness . He felt something heavy in his shoulder and turned to saw her head fell over his shoulder as she is asleep.

'haah.. Yeah.. I should get used to skinship since she is my girlfriend now..' he thought and sighed.

When they reached thier house. Helena's  mom was waiting outside waiting for them.

"lucas.. Take her inside carefully.." her mom said as lucas carried her again in princess style.

"yeah I will.. Then.. Good night aunty.." he said bowing and she smiled at him

"yeah.. Good night.. Here, her bag.." she hanged her bag on his shoulder like it was hanger  and he stared at  her dumbfounded.

"go inside its cold here.." she said waving to him.  behind them .. Cable is picking up the things throwing out of helena's bag while she is walking dilly dally holding  her bag upside down..

"oh my..!!  this girl.. Aigoo.. Leave it  cabel.. I will take them.. you go ahead..good night.. Thank you for taking them back safe "

her mom told cabel and he bowed to her wishing good night  and went to park thier car in the shed.

" haah.. Finally.."

lucas sighed as he lied her down on her bed and tucked her under  the bed sheet. He looked around her room as this is his first time  entering .

'it's smaller compared to my room.. This girl..' his thoughts stucked when he saw framed photos when he opened the drawer searching for her phone charger . It's her childhood photo where she is standing with claude and diana celebrating her fifth birthday with lily felix and some kids.

' pfft.. She is so cute and chubby.. She is five huh... This must be her parents.. Now I can see where her beauty comes from she is carbon copy of her mom.. Her eyes are from her dad huh.. Wow.. I don't want to admit but her dad  is  handsome..'

He thought staring at the photo.

' Oh.. Helena is here.. So they are friends from childhood huh.. Who is this brown haired lady and red haired guy..?  Well..Who cares.. 'he thought and placed  the photo back on the drawer..

' hmm.. Then Why she is living alone..? Even in jeju island not in city ..? And why is the photo not hanged in the wall..? 'he thought staring at athy who is sleeping peacefully .

He went back to his room and searched about her background in curiosity..

' I don't even know myself.. why the fuck  I am doing this..? May be I am curious..'he thought as he scrolled through his laptop screen.

" Huh.. What The fuck..?!! Her dad is the director of NIS Korea..? Haha.. " he chuckled.

"pfft.. What will he do if he find who I am..?" he mumbled smirking but it fade away as soon as he saw the next news. His eyes wided as he read the content.

"so her mom.. Died in an accident.. That was two years back huh.. I remember   when I met  helena's mom this morning, she said.. She  moved here around that time.." he mumbled as he further scrolled down.

'so she must be staying here after this incident.. Is this why she look always sad..?' he thought.

The next morning lucas came down and saw athy lying on the sofa . She saw him coming and slowly Sat up

" good morning.." she said in a low voice.

"hmm.. Morning.. Your head hurts..?" he asked as he went into the kitchen and prepared his coffee.

"a little.. And.. Thanks for last night.." she said as he came back with his coffee and Sat beside her .

"sia.." he called her after taking a sip.

"hmm..?"

"don't thank me or talk so formally with me.. We should try to be more comfortable around each other.." he said and she nodded  a yes.

"I will try.." she said take a sip of her tea and her face looked relaxed.

"what is that..?" he asked staring at the pink coloured tea on her glass

"it's lippe tea.." she said and smiled.

'that sad smile again..' he thought as his hand reached her face and he tucked a hair strand behind her ear.

" you like it so much huh..?" he asked.

"hmm..I feel like flowers are blooming inside my mouth.."

she said and smiled this time a happy one and he gave  back a satisfied smile.

" really..?" he asked smiling. She stared at him wide eyed.

' he is so pretty when he smile..bathump.. I think it's too much for my heart seeing him smile..like this.. ' she thought.

"yeah really.." she said nodding her head looked  away.

'huh.. I swear I saw her blushing now.. Why..?' he thought and looked at her confused.

"you don't have classes  today..?"

"I have... but it's in the  afternoon  .." she said and they heared door opening sound.

"hii guys.."

helena said as she walked inside she stared at them and sighed. Cabel walked straight to the kitchen and placed the side dishes helena's mom gave for athy.

"move athy.." helena said as she Sat beside her and pushed her towards lucas. she bumped into him and they both flinched.

"you guys should start acting close.. If you guys sit one meter apart like this.. no one will believe you two  are lovers.. And guys.. Try to have some  skinship you guys don't even look like friends.." she said and they both sighed in unison.

"I will try.." she said

"me too.." he joined her.

"lucas please  drop athy at  uni  on  afternoon.." she said smiling.

"huh..? Are you not coming today .?" athy asked.

"yep I and  cabel are gonna watch the new movie.. You don't like going to theatre anyway.. So I will go with him.."

she said and smiled. Lucas saw  cabel who is walking towards them and gave him a mischievous smile.

'shut up' he gestured  him as he walked towards them.
