Hell nah. There was no way I was getting carried on the guy I currently hate the most. I tried to get out. I started wiggling my legs and trying to jump out.

"Let me go!- I can walk by myself!" I said trying to jump out of his grip.

"Just stop resisting. Hold the umbrella to make it easier for me will ya?!" He said.

It was so embarrassing. I was getting carried on his back. He was holding my legs for support, and my groceries, and holding the umbrella as well.

I sighed and held the umbrella.

'Did he really forget who I am?' I thought.

'Or is he acting like this because I told him I'll kick his balls the other day?' I thought.

"Why.. why are you being nice to me?" I asked him.

"You idiot. If I was freezing outside in front of a grocery store with my groceries, all cuddled up trying not to get soaked, would you not feel sympathy for me too?!" He said.

My thoughts went blank.

"Besides if Jake or Jungwon found out I let you freeze in the cold weather in the rain, they'd kill me." He added.

"Do you pity me?" I asked him.

"Did you wanna catch a cold?" He asked back.

"Fine, thanks for helping me." I said giving up.

"Next time don't be an idiot and just take the extra umbrella when Heeseung offers you it." Ni-Ki said.

"ok.. ok I get it." I said.

"What bus do you take home?" Ni-Ki asked me.

"I already walked a lot so I didn't need to take one." I said.

"Ok.. so where do you live then?" Ni-Ki said.

"Huh?.. why do you wanna know where I live you stalker?!" I fidgeted whilst still being on his back.

"For a girl that had to get carried from almost freezing to death by a guy that doesn't like her, you're sure appreciative." Ni-Ki said sarcastically.

"OKAY! I get it. You saved me. Now shut up. I live over there." I pointed to a tall building.

He carried me to my building. When we got to the tall building I got off his back.

"That's where you live?!" Ni-Ki asked.

"Yeah?" I said.

"Right I forgot you're rich." He said.

'Huh? I didn't mention that anytime I was around any of them. Only Jungwon but that was when he was at my house.' I thought.

He just kept staring at the building. I looked at him realising.

'Acting like you don't know? You little bitch.' I thought.

"How do you know I'm rich?" I asked him looking at him.

He looked at me.

"You mentioned it once remember?" He said.

'I did?! But I don't like talking about my money..' I thought.

"Oh really?" When? I asked him. "At the lunch table. I think it was somewhere around Monday." He said.

'I don't remember anything that happened that day. Maybe he's right. Maybe I'm just forgetful.' I thought.

"Well anyway thanks for helping me and carrying me all the way over here. I'll treat you to something sweet later." I said.

"Mhm. I'll get going then." He said.

"Bye." I said waving at him.

I just jogged up to my building and stood under the roof about to use my keycard to get into the building.

But I stopped and watched his figure leave. He's changed so much. His hair, his voice, his attitude.But for some reason, he still feels the same.

His eyes don't glow like they used to. They're much darker every time I look at them now. When he plays basketball that's the only time I see him genuinely smiling.

As I watched him walk away I couldn't help but imagine the same Riki, but only smaller, walking next to him.

The walk was the same... but those were two different people.

Eventually I dried up, I took a quick shower and freshened up. It was around 5.30pm.

Earlier I unpacked groceries and made myself food. I was just sitting on my balcony with coffee in my hand and a hoodie on, looking at the city I live in.

My balcony view was really pretty. My building was fancy and had many floors and I was on the top one so I had a really great view.

I also had a rooftop that I sit in during summer but today was cold because of the rain.

I just sat there drinking my coffee, and opened the group chat because I felt my phone buzz.

I put my phone down and the realisation hit me.

'I'm gonna be staying over, at a house, FULL OF GUYS?!' My soul evaporated.

"You see what. They're not that bad. Besides Jungwon and Jake will be there." I said to myself.

"Wait.. SO WILL NI-KI!" I screamed in my house.

I collapsed on my knees almost spilling my coffee.

I didn't know how to talk to this guy. I was mad at him. I was livid. I was so mad at him for everything he ever did. But mostly, I was mad at myself.

Mad at myself for ever loving him.
