Chapter 6

Ayato pov

"Thoma? Ayaka? Are you guys alright?", my voice felt like it was betraying me for some reason.

"Ayato we have to tell you something", Ayaka said, she sounded really nervous.

And then I heard the reason behind why Thoma and Ayaka looked regretful and relieved.

"Thank you for telling me this. And Ayaka you could have told me sooner", I said with a smile, "I didn't know you liked Yoimiya".

"HUH?! How'd you know that?", Ayaka said, looking surprised.

"It was quite obvious", I chuckled. I loved this feeling. There was no awkward tension in the air. Everything felt natural.

"I should make dinner", Thoma said.

...

"Thoma your cooking is amazing", I said. The food tasted delicious. I don't even know how he managed to do this.

Ayaka nodded in agreement. Thoma's face lit up when I made the comment.

After dinner, we headed to bed. Well Thoma and Ayaka did. I have things to do. There was so much work to be done as the head of the Yashiro Commission. By the time I would go to bed, it would be 2 am.

My boba plushie was still on my bed. I stared at it, wondering if I should sleep or not. I decided I should. I hopped into bed and stared at my ceiling once again .

So they were dating. At least they told me. At least it's over now.

I squeezed the plushie and drifted off to sleep.

I got up early in the morning. I just loved the smell of the Sakura trees in the cool morning air. Today I decided to take a walk. No one would be around so it is a good idea.

After my walk I had a pretty normal day. Paperwork, more paperwork, breakfast, lunch, paperwork. You get the idea. Thoma was always trying to stop me from overworking, but it didn't work. I should probably take some rest today though.

I decided to make some miso soup myself, since Thoma was a bit busy. I made it normally. But then I had an idea.

What if....

What if I put boba in here?
