Chapter 6

*Kiba's POV*

The next day at the academy was quiet, as Yuki and Ryuua didn't turn up.

I was confused as they said to choji that they were going to be here today. Ruka must have been a little confused as well because he kept glancing at the empty seat between us.

"Hey, dog boy, Kiba?" Ruka called to me. I rolled my eyes at the nick name but just looked to him anyway.

"Yeah, what?"

"Wheres Yuki and red head?" He asked not looking up from sharpening his kunai.

"Dunno, class started 20 minutes ago but they still aren't here" I sighed.

Me and Yuki were good friends now and they had both started hanging out with us at the training grounds. We had been training them since the day they got here.

I got sent back to reality by the door swinging open.

"Sorry- we're- late- we- were- at- the- hokages- office" Ryuua said in and out of panting.

They ran all the way here!?

Yuki seemed fine but Ryuua was still trying to catch her breath.

"Ah, well what was the problem?" Iruka asked.

"We went to go tell him about a new student! She arrived in the village yesterday so we took her in. She lives with us and the hokage said she was to join the academy" Yuki grinned and I just rolled my eyes.

She's always so perky! I thought as they continued their conversation with Iruka.

"Oh! Well who is the new student?"

"Her names Umi, Umi Utaka" Yuki beamed as she lead a girl into the class room.

She had long silvery grey hair and was smaller then the others. She had deep purple eyes and she smiled at us shyly.

She looked so frail but I have to say, she was kinda hot!

Fucking hormones! Baka! I thought as the rest of the class looked at her.

*Umi's POV*

Ryuua and Yuki were so nice! They had made me feel welcome in their house and we thought of each other as honorary sisters.

They were right when they said we had visited the hokage, but we also went shopping for clothes.

I now had on a knee length black dress with two strapped sleeves and bandages covering the bottom of my arms. I paired it with knee high black socks and ninja shoes. My hair was down and straight as usual. One of my shoulders were covered in bandages.

They think these bandages are for fashion purposes but they are just hiding my scars.

I came back out of my thoughts as Yuki was dragging me to the seat next to her. When I say that I mean she shoved a boy with a cute dog to the side a little and made room for me. I just laughed at her.

"Hey, I'm Kiba!" He grinned at me and I smiled back.

"I'm Umi"

"UMI! This is Ruka!" Yuki introduced happily. The guy with really dark green hair smirked back.

"Loud as always I see!" He shook his head at Yuki who laughed in response.

"Alright! Listen up! Today we are doing shuriken practice so can we make our way outside!" Iruka motioned for us to follow his so we all got up from our seats and followed him outside.

*Ryuua's POV*

"Well done sasuke! All right on target" Iruka praised the duck butt on hitting all the targets dead on.

"Duckbutt" I mumbled under my breath but sasuke heard and just glared at me while smirking.

"Think you can do any better?" He taunted and I just raised and eyebrow.

"Fine let's do it!" With that I took out 5 shuriken and held them between my fingers. After analysing the targets to find the best way of hitting them (something I learned from Shikamaru) I threw them and they all knocked sasukes off and hit the middle dead on.

"Actually I do think I can do better." I smirked as sasuke stalked off to the other end of the training area.

"RYUUA! That was so cool!" Yuki jumped and hugged me.

"Wow! That was really good! You showed him huh" Umi smiled and I returned it.

"Well done Ryuua. I see you've been practicing" Iruka commented while writing some thing down.

"Yeahhhhhh" I replied and walked over to join the others who hit the targets.

I sat in between Takeshi and Ruka. I know Takeshi a bit better now but he is still cocky as hell. I didn't really speak to Ruka but he seemed like a nice guy from what I heard from Yuki.

"Nice one!" Ruka high fived me and Takeshi rolled his eyes.

"I think that Yuki and Umi will do well. Yuki has been trading pretty hard and Umi, well, I don't know much about her but I know she has had ninja training" I commented as Yuki began to take out her shuriken.

"You did okay I guess, but your aim is still a bit shaky" Takeshi finally spoke and I looked at him in surprise.

"So your complementing me now!? Well looks like you finally grew a pair and noticed my superiority!" I teased and he just glared while Ruka cracked out laughing.

"I did it!" I heard Yuki call as I looked to see that she had nailed he targets almost dead in the middle.

"Well done Yuki!" I called out and she flashed a peace sign while her tail flipped.

"Okay Umi your turn" Iruka motioned as Umi stepped up to throw.

As she threw the shuriken she added so much power that they not only hit the target, they went straight through and created a hole right in the centre.

People looked at her shocked but I saw her get a bit anxious at people staring so I began clapping for her.

"Well done Umi! That was great" I smiled at her and her face brightened.

"Thanks Ryuua." She said as she made her way over to me.

"Well that was epic!" Kiba grinned as she sat next to him and Yuki.

"Yeah that was soooo cooooool" Yuki squealed hugging her.

"Well that concluded the shuriken training" Iruka declared before vanishing in a puff of smoke.

"We all passed! I think?! Well what the heck! Let's go back our place!" Yuki announced and I looked at her raising an eyebrow.

"Oh come on! Please Ru. We can have a mini celebration!" She pleaded and then suddenly I saw Naruto, Kiba, ino and Umi all asking if I would agree.

"Fine let's go. But I swear if you trash the place your all cleaning it up!" I reasoned and began to walk towards our house.

"Yay!" Yuki cheered along with Narutoas they discussed ramen on the walk back to the house.

In the end there was Kiba, Shikamaru, naruto, hinata, ino, Ruka and choji all came to the house. Takeshi bailed saying we were just brats that were beneath him, sasuke, well sasuke is just a Duckbutt, Sakura hates us, simple as that and Shino had things to do.Lee, TenTen and Neji turned up later on.

Right now I was sat on the roof with Yuki.

"I love it here." Yuki sighed stretching her arms out and laying back onto the roof.

"Me too, who knew we were meant to be here. Our clans actually existed" I replied leaning back on my hands.

"Well, the final exam of the academy is in three weeks and I still can't even make a shadow clone." Yuki exclaimed throwing her arms around for emphasis.

"Me neither but I'm sure we will learn it in three weeks." I assured her before standing up. I held a hand out to her and she took it and I hauled her to her feet.

"C'mon, for all we know they could be trashing the place!" I laughed as we jumped down into the balcony and into the house.

Kiba was on the sofa chatting to Umi, I feel and OTP coming onnnn! Neji and TenTen were with Ruka taking about ninja stuff. Shikamaru was lounging on the other sofa watching choji eat his like 5th bag of chips. Hinata was trying to break up an argument with naruto and lee who were fighting over who was the best ninja. Ino was coming up to us to ask where we had been.

And us?

We were smiling like idiots at our friends and I was just thinking about how lucky we are to be here and to have met everyone.

I didn't know however, things in this crazy world were about to get a whole lot crazier!
