Chapter 47

( A/n: Part 2 of Heather Report part 2. Not all of the episode will be written down and it will be changed slightly, but I hope you'll like it anyway. )

( At Meryl's house )

Meryl had finished applying soot in Astrid's hair and styling it to make Astrid look like Heather. Evergreen and Goofball looked at Astrid's new look, Goofball was a bit surprised by Meryl's work while Evergreen was confused as she didn't know what was going on.

Meryl: And... Done!

Astrid: How did you know how to do this?

Meryl: Me and my mom had to put soot in my dad's hair to get him to blend in, because, well, he had hair that was the exact color of ice so... Yeah. Astrid?

Astrid: Yeah?

Meryl: Do... Do you think what Heather was saying about Alvin having captured a Scalewalker child might be true? I'm not saying that I am on her side, it's just... What if it's true?

Astrid: ( takes a deep breath ) ( calmly, to Meryl: ) Meryl, if Alvin does have a Scalewalker, I am sure that all of us will do anything in our power to free them and take them to Berk. Because, at this rate, Berk is probably the safest place for Scalewalkers in the whole world. I mean you're all just looking for a place to call home, and Berk is already home to three amazing Scalewalkers.

Meryl gave Astrid a smile, before playfully punching her shoulder.

Meryl: Come on, the others are waiting for us.

( With the other riders )

The other riders were waiting for Astrid and Meryl on the beach with a boat filled with supplies. Onyx was worried about the plan as Meryl had told him and Hiccup bits of it, but they still didn't know what it is fully. Onyx then put one of the daggers he'd made in the boat, so Astrid had something to protect herself with.

Fishlegs: ( turns to Hiccup and Onyx ) T-t-t-this is gonna w-work right? Cause if it doesn't work, Alvin's gonna know all of our dragon and Scalewalker secrets. And if Alvin knows all of our dragon and Scalewalker secrets-

Onyx: ( calmly, to Fishlegs: ) Breathe, Fishlegs. We must have faith in Astrid and Meryl.

Hiccup: Onyx is right. It'll work, Fishlegs.

They then see Meryl walking towards them with.... Heather? Onyx had a confused expression on his face and tilted his head to the side.

Hiccup: Oh! That must be-

Ruffnut: Heather!

Tuffnut: Get her! That rhymes!

Onyx's eyes then widened and he recognized it was Astrid dressed up to look like Heather, and he grabbed the twins and pinned them to the ground, preventing them from going near her.

Tuffnut: Ow! I am very much hurt!

Ruffnut: Onyx! What are you-

Astrid: ( to the twins: ) It's me, you muttonheads! ( To Onyx: ) You can let them go now, thanks for stopping them.

Onyx: ( blushes slightly ) N-No problem.

Onyx then let's go of the twins, and they got back up to their feet. Onyx then growled as he saw how Tuffnut, Snotlout, and Fishlegs were looking at Astrid. Meryl was mentally preparing to having to hold Onyx back.

Tuffnut: Whoa.

Snotlout: Wow.

Fishlegs: Oooh.

Tuffnut: Uh, sorry, Astrid. Totally unconvincing.

Astrid: Oh, yeah, I could tell. Now stop before Onyx rips off your heads.

Hiccup: ( to Meryl and Astrid: ) You sure about this?

Astrid: No.

Meryl: But it's our only choice. Unless you rather it's me disguising as Heather?

Hiccup: ( quickly answered: ) No.

Meryl: Exactly.

Astrid looked at the couple with a smile and her arms crossed. Onyx was glaring at Tuffnut, Snotlout, and Fishlegs, and only stopped when Astrid placed her hand on his shoulder, which quickly calmed him down.

Hiccup: ( to Astrid: ) We'll be shadowing you from the sky.

Astrid: I don't need shadowing.

Onyx: ( to Astrid: ) Just in case. It'll make me feel better. Please?

Astrid: ( sighs ) Fine, just stay out of sight! If Alvin sees you, it'll all be over.

Meryl: Don't worry about us. Just get the book and get out of there. We'll be waiting.

Astrid then gets in the boat and sets sail, she heard Onyx call out to her.

Onyx: Stay safe!

Astrid just gave him a comforting smile, and the riders watched as her boat sailed farther and farther away.

( With Heather, in the prison )

Bucket entered the prison with a bowl of soup in hand.

Bucket: Anyone in here hungry? We've got a lovely cabbage soup tonight. Yummy!

Bucket then stopped at Heather's cell, and dropped the bowl when he saw that it was empty.

Bucket: Aw, no, not again! The chief's going to kill me! Oh, not good, not good, not good...

When Bucket turned back to try to warn the village about Heather missing, Heather knocked him out. She then dragged Bucket into her cell and locked him in. She sighed guilty, as she wasn't proud of what she has down, but she was doing it for her parents.

Heather: Sorry, Bucket, but I have to get back to Outcast island. And nothing is going to stop me.

Heather glanced back before leaving the unconscious Bucket in the prison.

( On Outcast island, with Mistake )

Mistake was practicing her abilities in her cell, she was levitating the empty baskets of fish with a purr. She then heard the voices of Alvin, Savage, and a girl with soot in her hair, causing her to drop the basket, as she thought that Alvin and Savage were bringing her more food, then she looked at the girl with curiosity.

Astrid looked at the young Scalewalker dragon in shock, as she had never seen anything like it before, she especially never saw a dragon with fur.

Alvin: Heather, meet Mistake, she'll be what you are going to train in the arena.

Astrid held herself back for snapping at Alvin for calling the young Scalewalker " Mistake ".

Alvin: And, trust me, she won't be easy to train. She only obeys me, because good beasts always listen to the person that feeds them. Savage, take Mistake to the arena. ( To Mistake: ) And remember, good beasts wear their leash.

Savage grabs a rope and opens the cell door. Mistake lets Savage tie the rope around her neck and follow him out of her cell, and to the arena.

Alvin: ( To " Heather ", aka Astrid: ) I have a feeling you're going to have fun with Mistake, she likes to play.

Savage takes Mistake to the arena, and unties her. Mistake then sits on the ground and begins to wait as Savage leaves the arena.
