2 more years seemed to fly by. Elliot and olivia were closer than ever and thier 2 year long romantic relationship seemed to be lasting which surprised olivia most of all.

Today olivia was putting up streamers and balloons along with a birthday banner that read 'happy 9th birthday Brenna!' All the colors were aqua and purple which were brennas favorite colors. Elliot was helping her decorate to get it done faster since they knew amanda would be back with Brenna and baby Jessie soon. "I can not believe that kid is already turning 9." Elliot said.

"I know it kinda makes me feel old." Olivia laughed slightly.

"Oh please you'll never be old olivia benson." Elliot teased and kissed her softly.

Olivia smiled but groaned "and before I know it she's going to be a teen and I'm so not ready for that stage."

Elliot laughed "no one ever is trust me."

"She told me the other night though that she wants to go back to acting. I don't know how I feel about it." Olivia sighed and she and elliot put up the last of the balloons.

"Maybe start her with a small role and when she gets a little older she can move in to the larger ones." He suggested as he helped olivia down from the step ladder.

"Yeah maybe." She smiled slightly but then felt a bit sick.

Elliot noticed and said "you alright?" As he placed a hand on her back gently.

"Yeah I think I just have that stomach bug that's been going around the squad." She replied. She then went to the fridge and pulled out the cake and set it on the island counter. She then felt very sick and rushed to the bathroom throwing up in to the toilet. Elliot followed and helped hold her hair back. Elliot remembered doing this for Kathy many times and it dawned on him "Liv....maybe...maybe your pregnant?"

Olivia finally stopped throwing up and gave Elliot a look of shock and realized she hadn't had a period in a while "y...you think?" She asked as she rinced her mouth before looking at him once again.

"Why don't I go get you a test." He said.

She shook her head "no I can't...I can't focus on that not on brennas day. Maybe after she goes to bed ok?"

Elliot nodded hopeing this wasn't disappointing to her "yeah ok."

Olivia heard her front door click unlocked and she knew it must be amanda with the girls so she cleaned up and came out just as they were coming through the door. Brenna smiled excited to see all the decorations. "Oh my gosh mama it's beautiful!" She squealed and ran in to a hug with olivia.

Olivia smiled and hugged her daughter tightly "I'm glad you like it my love."

"I love it!" Brenna smiled as all the adults laughed and baby Jessie hiccupped and giggled.

"Ok sweetheart I got you a new outfit to wear today before everyone gets here. It's laying on your bed so go get ready and then I'll do your hair ok?" Olivia kissed her head and watched Brenna rush off to her room. "Thank you for keeping her distracted." Olivia said to amanda.

"Of course. Any time." Amanda said as she put jessing in the playpen amanda had brought over earlier. Amanda then looked at olivia and elliot and seen them share a look. "What's going on?" She asked.

"Its nothing don't worry." Olivia said as she got out the fruit tray and veggie tray she had made the night before.

Amanda was about to push the conversation when a knock came to the door and amanda answered it and laughed "of course you'd be an early one fin."

Fin rolled his eyes and carried in a present and sat it on a free end of the counter.

Brenna came out of her room dressed in her new outfit and squealed "Uncle fin!"

Fin smiled and knelt down slightly to her level "hey babygirl! Happy birthday!"

Olivia smiled at her misfit family and came around the counter "come on love let's get that hair managed before your friends start showing up."

Brenna hugged fin and rushed off with olivia to do her hair.
