Olivia and Brenna arrived home and as breenas contract finally expired with Kris studio other aligations of abuse were brought to court of him molesting at least 4 other girls who had been actors for him previously.

As the 6 month period came to an end judge linden reviewed everything and granted olivia full custody of Brenna.

Olivia had gotten Brenna in to a nice private school near the apartment and the precinct. She got Brenna settled in to a comfortable life giving her a taste of what real childhood was like so her little girl could decide if acting was still something she wanted to do. Olivia had gotten back to work and back to the swing of things. She was taking well to motherhood.

When elliot didn't show up exactly when he said he would she figured he had changed his mind about her and she was trying to move forward.

That night her and Brenna came home after a show at the theater and olivia said "ok kiddo how about you wash up and I'll make us some Mac and cheese and we can sit and watch TV together before bed." Olivia smiled brightly.

Brenna smiled and hugged olivia around the waist "ok mama." She replied and rushed off to the bathroom.

Olivia was walking to the kitchen when a knock came to her door. She stopped and turned around and went to the door to answer it and froze seeing elliot holding a bag of Chinese takeout. "Elliot?"

Elliot smiled slightly "hey liv. Hope I'm not intruding but I got to town yesterday and thought we could hang out tonight. I come bearing gifts of food for 3 hungry people." He said.

Brenna heard his voice and came running from the bathroom and ran in to his legs hugging him tight. "Uncle elliot!"

Olivia let him in and smiled always loving how him and Brenna always interacted.

Elliot laughed a bit and set the food down then picked up the small 7 year old girl "hey kid. You hungry?" He asked and Brenna nodded excitedly.

Olivia and elliot dished the 3 plates out together and Brenna picked a movie to watch. Halfway through the movie Brenna had finished her food and passed out across olivia and elliots laps as olivia gently stroked her daughters curls. Elliot stood and offered to carry Brenna to bed and olivia agreed as she sat from the couch watching.

Elliot emerged from brennas room a few minutes later and gently closed the door. "She seems happier." He said.

"Yeah. I'm trying to give her as normal a life as I can. I want her to decide if acting is still really something she wants to do." She said.

"Your doing a great job liv but I always knew you'd be a good mom." He smiled as he sunk on the couch beside her once again.

"I really do love it. Especially because I have something and someone to come home to now." She replied.

"You deserve it." He continued.

"I'm actually surprised you came back." She admitted looking down at her hands.

"Yeah I'm sorry it took longer than expected but custody agreements take time." He said. "Kathy gets Eli during the school year and I get him.in the summer."

"Trust me I get it." She laughed lightly "but are you sure your ok being this far from him?" She asked.

"Yeah. Eli is happy there and I'm happy when he is. Some of my kids moved back here so I can visit them and I get to be around you." He smiled lifting her chin to look at him. "I want to give us a try if your willing."

Olivia looked in to his deep blue eyes and hesitantly nodded "i...I suppose we could...I'm just...scared."

"Of what?" He asked curiously.

"Of losing a friendship....with you" she continued.

"I will always be your friend no matter what happens olivia." He said and leaned in and kissed her deeply as a tear escaped Olivia's eye.
