15:57, 23 November 2024It had been 3 weeks olivia had custody of Brenna. She was thankful that she had accumulated quite a bit of vacation time over the years at svu so she was able to take 6 weeks off to get acclimated to Brenna hectic schedule. Even with limited hours due to her age it was still a long day for such a young girl.
Olivia sat in a director style chair at Brenna vanity on set as she watched her work. Amanda had been telling the truth, Brenna was a very talented performer for being only 6 years old.
As olivia was scanning the room with her eyes she noticed Kris on the far side of the room looking at Brenna in a way that made olivia uneasy. Soon Kris noticed olivia and gave her a smirky smile before he left the set. She hated that her daughter still had 5 months around this asshole and there was nothing she could do but make sure they were never alone together.
The scene finally ended and it was her last scene that day. Brenna ran over to Olivia smiling and laughing. "Did I do good mama?" She asked jumping in to Olivia's lap.
Olivia smiled and kissed her cheek. "Of course my love beautiful and amazing as always." Olivia praised. "Ok kiddo how about we go to your dressing trailer and get you changed and then we can go for pizza and ice cream before we head home."
"Ok mama." She said excitedly as olivia took her hand and walked with her to her trailer and got her inside. She helped her change in to her street clothes and gave her her jacket and scarf before heading out for the day. As they were about to leave they bumped in to Kris who stopped them and said "ah Brenna and ms. Benson just the girls I needed to see. We need to speak in my office."
Olivia glared "sorry we are leaving for today let's schedule something later." She said not wanting her and her daughter to be around him more then nessisary.
"I'm afraid it can't wait and it would be a violation of Brenna contract for you to deny a meeting." He smirked.
Olivia sighed "fine" she kept a good hold of Brenna hand as they followed Kris to his office in the building next door. Olivia sat and put Brenna in her lap.
Kris smiled fakely and said "so me and the other executives have discussed what project Brenna will do for her final project before her contract expires. It's a movie that will take the full 5 months to produce and its being filmed on location in Italy." He said.
Olivia was shocked by this but said "I. Sorry but you will have to decide on a different project that can be fil.ed in New York. I can't just take 5 months from my job to travel halfway across the world."
"Ah yes but you see I'm afraid Brenna contract stipulates that she must take the roles she it given or it's a breech of contract." He said in a dominating tone.
Olivia knew if she broke the contract it could look bad to judge linden. "Maybe if I could speak to the executives myself...." she started.
"I'm afraid that's not possible. Most of them will not be back to the city for a couple months. So take it or....face legal action." He smirked "your choice Ms. Benson."
She glared "I'll let you know tomorrow." Olivia said not trying to start an argument with the man she hated the most.
He grinned "see you tomorrow then." He said and watched them leave.

They went out for pizza and ice cream like olivia had promised. Once they returned to Olivia's apartment she got Brenna settled on the couch watching the little mermaid and ten olivia went to the kitchen and got on the phone to Trevor.
"He can't just do this right? Make us go to Italy for 5 months?" Olivia said in the middle of thier conversation. "I'm sure it is a great opportunity Trevor but I can't just take 5 months off from work." She sighed "I'm pretty sure he's doing this just to pass me off. He's angry cause I won't leave him alone with my daughter." She continued. "Yeah ok. Thanks Trevor. Let me know by morning." She hung up and sipped her glass of wine as she watched her daughter laughing at a scene in the movie.
"Mama come watch with me." Brenna smiled.
Olivia walked over and sat beside her and put an arm around her as they watched together.
