After going out to lunch with Trevor they both made thier way back to the courthouse. The 2 women and thier lawyers took thier seats after judge linden had.

Judge linden looked over both women and began to speak "so I have done an interview alone with the child Brenna Raines. I have also looked over the evidence brought to my attention and I do not come to this decision lightly."

Olivia was extremely nervous and was bopping her leg due to her nervousness.

"I have decided that since Ms. Benson is the biological mother and can supply a healthy and nurturing home environment, and due to the fact that Claire  has never even attempted to file for adoption of the child, custody will be granted to Ms. Benson on a trial basis. We will be back in court in 6 months and if things have stayed stable and healthy for the child then Ms. Benson will be granted permanent full custody of her daughter Brenna Raines." She continued.

Olivia let out a silent sigh of relief knowing she would be able to take her daughter home.

"She will still finish out her 6 months left of her acting contract with the production studio as well. After the contract has expired and if Ms. Benson has received permanent full custody then Ms. Benson will make the choice to renew or leave the production studio." Judge linden finished.

Olivia hated that she couldn't get Brenna out of the contract but she would do everything she could to make sure she was with Brenna at all times on set.

Claire stood angerly and said "this is ridiculous! She has no idea what Brenna schedule is like!" Claire became so angered she had to almost be dragged out by a court officer.

After court was over Trevor led olivia to the room Brenna was in with the social worker that would be handling her case.

The social worker stepped forward first and smiled "hello Ms. Benson I'm Donna Grant and I will be the caseworker working with you and Brenna for these next few months."

Olivia shook her hand and smiled "it's nice to meet you Ms. Grant." She said before kneeling in front of Brenna "hello Brenna do you remember me?" Olivia asked.

Brenna nodded and softly said "y...your miss olivia the police woman who talked to me at the hospital."

Olivia half smiled "that's right and I'm also your biological mother. I carried you in my belly before you were born." She continued.

"B..but miss Claire said you were a bad woman." She said slightly frightened.

"I promise you hunny I'm not a bad woman but you know what why don't you decide that after we get to know each other a bit ok?" Olivia replied keeping herself calm after hearing that.

Brenna nodded.

Olivia held her hand out for the girl and hesitantly Brenna took her hand and they left together.
