Olivia sat on the couch that night with so many things running through her mind. She ended up falling asleep from pure exhaustion.

When Olivia woke at 9am the next morning she called one person she thought could help her with the legal side of things. "Hey Trevor it's olivia." She started "I'd like to meet up today if that's possible. I have a problem you may be able to help with."

"Ok...um how about we meet around 2 for lunch?" He replied slightly confused.

"Yeah I'll see you then." She said and hung up the phone running a hand down her face.

She got ready for work. She planned to work this case until she knew the captain would inevitably take her off. Especially if she went through with her next plan of action.

She pulled in to the precinct parking garage just a little bit later and made her way in the elevator and to the squad room. She looked at amanda and said "hey come with me I want to interview Brenna and her guardian again."

"Shouldn't we tell the captain?" Amanda asked curiously.

"No not yet." She said not wanting to risk him saying no.

Amanda nodded and followed. She trusted Olivia's judgment and hoped they wouldn't have to ask for too much forgiveness later.

Olivia drove them to the address that was on record and olivia knocked on the door. A woman answered in a coat looking like she was heading out with Brenna right behind her. "Oh um...hello can I help you?" The woman asked.

"Hello I'm detective benson and this is detective rollins we just had a few more questions for you and Brenna if that's alright. Your Claire right?" Olivia said.

"Yes I am but um...Brenna has a filming in like 45 minutes so we really don't have time to talk." Claire replied.

"Well we are investigating claims of child abuse and endangerment so it's in the best interest of everyone if we talk as soon as possible." Amanda said.

Claire sighed "ok ...um ..." she looked in the day planner and said "we can meet at 430. Now I'm sorry but we have to go." Claire said and rushed herself and Brenna away.

"She's definitely protecting someone and it's not Brenna." Olivia sighed.

"So what should we do now?" Amanda asked cautiously.

"I think we should talk to the social worker who worked to choose Brenna guardian. Let's find out how much the network had in choosing the guardian." Olivia said as they left.

The captain came out of his office and seen olivia and Amanda's desks empty. "Where is benson and rollins?" Cragen asked.

Fin didn't want to get them in too much trouble so he replied "they just went to do a follow-up."

He groaned "on the Raines case?"

"Not sure cap." He lied.

He pulled out his phone and called Olivia's phone as he walked back in his office. Olivia's phone quickly went to voice mail. Cragen left a voice message "Olivia you get back here now. I told you for now we are slowing down on this case and I meant it. Do not make me repeat that." He said before hanging up.

Olivia looked at her phone and seen the voice mail symbol pop up and she sighed before going in to meet with the social worker.
