Found Out

04:07, 5 August 2024

As Harry walked around the Room of Requirements, trying to help the DA students conjure a Patronus while I stayed along the wall in case someone wanted a one on one helper.

I thought I would let Harry take the lead, over the few months that Dolohov got out my nerves have grown, something I haven't really experienced before.

It's not like I haven't dealt with bad or dangerous people again, obviously I have but...Dolohov is my father and a powerful wizard, I can't push my way through like I did with past man who were bad.

This whole world is more dangerous then the muggle world and until now I only dealt with stupid trolls or werewolf's, not dark sadistic wizards. I don't even know how to deal with that other than what Snape told me over the summer during his how to survive being a Death Eater lesson.

But I didn't get a lesson on how to survive a father who might torture and kill you. I dont know... I'm fine... I'm not weak just nervous... and afraid of the people who might get hurt because of me...I actually have people who care now, it's not just me who would get hurt if I don't care about my being.

•"Make it a powerful memory, the happiest you can remember." Harry exclaimed through the room. "Allow it to fill you up." Harry said happily as he moved around the room. "Remember a full-bodied Patronus is the most difficult to produce... but shield forms can also be equally useful against a variety of opponents."

Ginny almost conjured a full horse Corporeal Patronus. "Coincidence?" I chuckled thinking of the horse necklace that reminded me of her.

"Just remember, your Patronus can only protect you for as long as you stay focused. So, focus... This is really advanced stuff, guys. You're doing so well."

Everywhere the students Patronesses lit up the space, bring not only a smile to their faces but mine. But then room started to shake, the chandelier shook and it's crystals rattled against each other. Patronesses started to disappear and everyone turned to the entrance which was where the pounding noise was coming from.

I leaned off the wall and moved forward, the mirrors on the wall broke off, Nigel and Harry went to peak through a small hole.

Harry pulled Nigel away as the wall exploded to reveal; Umbridge, Filch, Crabbe, Draco and a small group of Slytherins.

Umbridge smiled evilly. "Finally." She looked around. "Bring them to my office." The Slytherins and Filch started forward to collect students. "Draco." Draco looked at Umbridge. "Would you grab Potter and Solace and take them to my office?"

"Yes, Professor." Draco looked at me. (I knew this would happen.)I leaned off the wall and walked to him. "Solace-."

"I can walk myself Draco." I patted his shoulder. "I wasn't expecting you to change, it's fine." I continued to walk out of the room and down the corridors to Umbridges office.

(It was only a matter of time. Everything is only a matter of time.) I made it to Umbridges classroom where students were already sitting nervously for Umbridge to come and scold them or something.

I walked up to her office and sat down, a little later Draco came in with Harry and sat him down in another chair. Then another couple minutes later Umbridge walked in with a piece of paper I recognize as the list of DA students.

Umbridge looked at me like a winner. "What do we have here?"

I rolled my eyes and leaned back. "Congratulations, Umbridge, you found me out." Draco looked at me questioningly, I smiled softly. "I was their teacher." His face fell.

"Draco, you can leave now." Umbridge moved to her desk, Draco glanced at me then left.

The fireplace of Umbridges office grew in size as the flames turned green and four people walked out. "Dolores what is it?" Fudge brushed off the nonexistent dust on his clothes.

Umbridge lifted her chin. "Follow me, Minister." She walked towards the door. "Percy, grab those two." She ordered.

Percy came over to us. "Hey, Percy."

"Come on." He said smugly and grabbed our arms, pushing us to follow Umbridge, Fudge, a boring man in a khaki trench coat, and an African American in blue and purple robes.

(Someone's job at the Ministry made him change drastically...)I allowed him to force me to follow as Umbridge fed Cornelius more anxiety and fear about how she knew Dumbledore was up to something and she tried to tell him.

We made it up the stairs to Dumbledores office. "Been watching them for weeks. And see, 'Dumbledore's Army'." She pointed to the paper of our names that she handed him a little bit ago. "Proof of what I've been telling you right from the beginning, Cornelius."Dumbledore stood, sitting slightly on his desk when we arrived in his office. "All your fear-mongering about You-Know-Who... never fooled us for a minute."Percy brought us next to the adults and stopped us. "We saw your lies for what they were: A smokescreen for your bid to seize control of the Ministry."

"Naturally." Dumbledore droned.

My brow raised. (Why would he say that?)

"No, professor." Harry defended. "He had nothing to do with it. It was me."

"Most noble of you, Harry, to shield me, but as has been pointed out the parchment clearly says 'Dumbledore's Army', not 'Potter's'." Dumbledore said calmly to Harry and looked to the adults. "I instructed Harry to form this organization. And I, and I alone, am responsible for its activities."

"Dispatch an owl to the Daily Prophet. If we hurry, we should still make the morning edition.Dawlish, Shacklebolt, you will escort Dumbledore... to Azkaban... to await trial for conspiracy and sedition."

My brows scrunched. "Why would you send him to Azkaban?" I scowled.

"Olivia." Dumbledore warned, I closed my mouth. "I thought I might hit this little snag." Dumbledore stood up from his desk. "You seem to be laboring under the delusion that I'm going to..." He walked to behind his desk. "What was the phrase?" Three of the four adults walked towards him slowly. "...come quietly. Well, I can tell you this: I have no intention of going to Azkaban."

"Enough of this." Umbridge huffed. "Take him."

Fawkes flew down over Dumbledore, Dumbledore lifted his arms and as soon as his fingers grabbed Fawkes feet they both disappeared in fire, knocking the adults back on their butts.

I smiled internally. (Show off.)

"Well, you may not like him, Minister... but you can't deny... Dumbledore has got style." The unknown, nicely dressed man said, the Minister looked at him with a 'Seriously?' expression.

"You two." Umbridge narrowed in on Harry and I. "Where did he go?" All the adults looked at us.

I raised a brow. "Why would you think we know?"

Fudge looked at me. "Solace?" I nodded, he held up the paper. "Looks to me you were the leader of this army."

"No. She wasn't." Harry defended me. "I was, I started it." He looked at me, I shook my head slightly.

Umbridge stepped closer with her hidden evil smile. "Sure you did. But it appears, here.." She motioned to the paper. "..that Solace was in charge of the armys learning."

Fudge pointed at me. "You've been plotting with Albus Dumbledore."

"Your mind and fear have made you paranoid, Minister."

"How dare you." Umbridge faked being shocked. "That is no way to speak to the Minister of Magic." I rolled my eyes.

Fudge shook his head at me. "She is in league with Dumbledore."(He's more messed up then I thought.)"I want her interrogated, find it everything she knows."

The African American man stepped forward. "Minister she is just a child."

"She is an accomplice." Fudge strained with his fear and paranoia.

"What do you expect to find from me?" I interjected calmly, they all looked at me. "I do not know where Dumbledore went and I certainly don't know his plan because he has none." I crossed my arms. "The only reason you think Dumbledore is plotting is because of your dread and the people around you that is manipulating that fear like Umbridge."

Fudge looked between me and the ground like he was speaking to himself in his mind. "I want her out of Hogwarts."

I closed my eyes as I took a deep breath. (Of course.) I opened my eyes back up.

"Dolores... You're Headmistress." Fudge waved at me to say 'Handle that.'. "I need to go to the Ministry... and send word that Dumbledore, is now wanted, for plotting against the Ministry... And for forming an army for such purpose."

"Dumbledore did no such thing." Harry exclaimed.

"You mustn't lie." Umbridge smiled. "Don't worry, Minister. I will handle them."

Fudge nodded. "You have done well here, Dolores. I put my trust and faith in you." He put his hat on and walked to the door, his men following but not before the African American man glanced at me.

"Miss Solace." Umbridge held her chin up with a soft but deadly smile. "As Headmistress I am expelling you from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry on grounds of Educational Decree 68."

I nodded. "Obviously."

Umbridges jaw clenched before she tilted her head slightly and smiled brighter. "I expect you to pack your bags and leave tomorrow by the end of the day."

I walked closer to her. "So I am no longer a student at Hogwarts?"

She lifted her chin and blinked. "Correct."

I smiled. "Then I am glad to say you might wear a sickly sweet pink on the outside, but you are twisted and rotten on the inside, a perfect contrast... One day karma will come and get you, everyone will know who you truly are and when they happens you will be the one to rot in Azkaban... So watch out." I smiled as her smile changed to a scowled and her face turned as pink as her clothes.

"Get out." She seethed.

I nodded. "Goodbye, Miss Piggy."

"Out!" I smiled and walked out. (Oh, that felt amazing!)

Harry came to my side. "You're mental."

I chuckled. "You just figured that out?"
