Reunion

Continuing the previous chapter.

(SPOILERS OF THE NEW MOVIE ARE INCLUDED)___________________________________________

Hattori Residence, 6:33 pm..

"You're telling me you defused 3 bombs from the train and barely made it out in time?" Heiji said surprised. "Yea, I'm so tired right now." He said leaning back on the sofa.

Shiho and Shinichi were now in Heiji's place, they sat opposite Kazuha and Heiji. They finished talking to the police and came here to meet Heiji as they planned.

"Alright my mom's making dinner you can rest in the guest room until then." Heiji said as Shiho and Shinichi grabbed their bags and went to the guest room that Kazuha showed them.

"Okay I guess I'll go back to my house then." Kazuha said. "Are you serious? Don't leave Miyano alone with us, keep her company while at dinner, please?" Heiji asked as Kazuha thought about it, then agreed.

Shiho sat down on the bed that she and Shinichi will share, Shinichi sighed as he put his bag on the floor and sat on the opposite end as well. "Are you sure this antidote will last a few days?" Shinichi asked. "You dare doubt my scientific brain?" She asked turning to him, he raised his hands and sarcastically said, "Oh no your mighty queen, I would never doubt your oh mighty brain." They both chuckled as they got up and went outside the room.

"Great timing, we're almost done setting the table." Heiji said. "Is there anything I can help with?" Shiho asked. "You can help Kazuha if she needs anything I guess- oww! What the-" "ahem! No there isn't, sit down at the table and it'll be ready soon." Kazuha cut off Heiji and pinched his arm while giving him a glare.

Shinichi tried not to laugh and Shiho smiled at the duo before she and Shinichi took a seat at the table. They heard whispering between the two but ignored them. "Okay so..let me tell you what happened at the police station." Heiji said as him and Shinichi started talking about it and Shiho just sat in silence.

Finally the food came, Kazuha sat beside Shiho while Heiji's mother sat at the vertical end. "So how are you guys?" His mother asked. "We're good what about you." Shinchi said smiling. "I'm good now tell me, how was your trip?" She asked.

They all looked at each other in awkward silence before Shiho spoke. "It was good, not much people." She said calmly and everyone looked at her. "Oh that's great because I heard there has been a train accident, thankfully it wasn't the train you were in." Everyone started breathing again and continued eating. Suddenly, Heiji's phone rang.

He got up to get it and answered. "Oh hey man, yeah, what? The place and time? Tomorrow?? Okay got it, thanks." He hung up and went back to the table. "Yo Kudo." Shinichi was already looking at him. "Kaito Kid sent them a letter, it said the time and place, its tomorrow as well, so we have to leave early to go to the police station and get more information."

Heiji explained. "Alright, then let's get some shut eye for tomorrow, thanks for the food." Shinichi says getting up as Shiho followed him as well. They all got up too and Kazuha went home.

"Are you okay? You've been quiet." Shinichi asked Shiho as they entered their room and shut the door. "Yea." She answered opening her bag to change into some pyjamas, Shinichi started doing the same.

They both laid on the bed and pulled the blanket. "I'll be finally getting to meet the famous cousin of yours." Shiho said thinking. "So that's what's occupying your mind." Shinichi said turning to her. "I could've said it in a better way, but okay." She said as he pulled her closer to him. "Well to answer your earlier comment, I guess yeah you will." Shinichi said sighing. Shiho kept thinking when shinchi spoke again.

"C'mon let's get some sleep, we need to wake up early remember?" He said as she turned towards him and he put her head on his chest. He kissed the top of her head and they both drifted off to sleep.

Police station, 11:35 am..

"You made it just in time, Kaito sent another letter this morning." A police officer told them. "Can you show us both letters from yesterday and today?" Shinichi asked and the guy nodded giving him both letters. The first letter said:

*Dear fellows, I have chosen to make my presence clear tomorrow at 7 pm sharp, in a place where the birds fly high, and the sky is clear, the streets bustling with signs, but they do not shine as bright as me.*

*Your one and only, Kaito Kid.*

The second letter said:

*My dear fans, I'll be looking for the bright green gem, hidden inside the pure soul of a necklace, for when it shines, a white dove will capture it.*

*Your one and only, Kaito Kid.*

"It's another one of his riddles, will you know how to decipher it?" Asked the guy, Heiji looked at him and smirked, "I already did." He said as he looked at shinichi, who was smiling as well.

"Really?? What is it?" The guy asked shocked. "It's simple, the first letter was the easiest, it said a busy place with bright signs and a high place which means a skyscraper, the only famous  skyscrapers in Osaka are Umeda Sky Building and The Kitahama, there's a hidden message though, 7 pm "sharp" that means the sharp top of the Umeda Sky Building, that's where he's dropping at."

Heiji finishes his explanation with a smirk. "Would you like to explain the second letter, detective of the east?" He asks Shinichi sarcastically. "The second letter doesn't really have something hidden, the green gem is one inside a necklace in the observatory section of the skyscraper tower. The white dove means one of his magic tricks, his gloves would work in that kind of meaning, all we have to do is pay attention." Shinichi explains his deduction now.

The guy was shocked while Kazuha and Shiho had smiles on their faces at the great deduction the guys just made. "Thank you both!" The guy said taking the letters and entering a room. "Well that was.." Kazuha spoke poking Heiji.

"Alright let's go to my old man's office." Heiji said as they walked. "Easy stuff for you hm?" Shiho whispered to Shinichi's ear as they walked behind the other two.

"Mhm because you're next to me." Shinichi says grabbing her waist and pulling her to him, making her slightly gasp. Shinichi smirked as he let go of her waist before they entered Heizo's office.

"Ah Heiji, Washagu told me you deciphered the code with your friend, be there at 6 pm." He says as Heiji nods. "Let's go, oh here's your breakfast by the way." Heiji said giving his father a box.

"Your mother's cooking is the best Heiji, be sure to marry a woman who can cook as good as your mother." Heiji suddenly blushed and Kazuha's cheeks reddened a bit.

"We're going dad!" Heiji says leaving with the others following behind. They exit and walk until they reach a café sitting down to rest. "I have an idea." Kazuha says. The 3 turn towards her direction. "Let someone wear the necklace so he can't steal it." She says, Heiji and Shinichi look at each other and back at her. "Kazuha, that's not-" "why not?" Shiho asks, as Kazuha nods.

"Whatever, I need coffee, uh waiter!" Heiji calls as they order.

Umeda Sky Building, 6:26 pm..

They were in the observatory section going with Kazuha's plan, they decided it would be best if Shiho wears it, and Shinichi would be protecting her.

"Are you sure this is gonna work?" Shinichi asks. "Yes, how is he gonna grab the necklace from her huh??" Kazuha asks putting her hands on her hips. "I guess now we wait." Shinichi says sighing.

The clock approaches 7 pm. Police are all over the place, helicopters pointing at the top of the building. Their plan was to hide the necklace with Shiho and hide her as well. Suddenly a white gust of smoke popped on the building.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I have come as promised, thank you for this warm welcome, as usual." Kaito Kid said appearing with his usual smile.

Shinichi and the others were focused on looking up at Kaito Kid, Shiho felt someone staring at her, she looked behind her and suddenly someone carried her away from the crowd and she couldn't see or speak.

No one noticed until the supposed Kaito Kid was slowly..disappearing? "It's a projector! He isn't the real Kaito Kid!" Someone shouted. Everyone gasped and was shocked. 'Shiho!' Shinichi thought as he looked behind him and didn't find her. "Shït, I wasn't paying attention." He cursed as Heiji approached him. "Hattori! Shiho, she's not here." Heiji was shocked.

*Same time, different place.*

"Don't freak out." She heard a voice say. "I never freak out." She answered back. After a moment of silence, Shiho could finally see, infront of her was Kaito Kid, the green necklace in his hand. "Thank you for your cooperation." But Shiho didn't speak, she stared at the man Infront of her, he looked almost exactly like Shinichi, and with only the light from the moon, she could only see so much.

"Shinichi's cousin.." she whispered, Kaito Kid turned around and looked at her confused. "How do you know?" He asked. "He told me.." Kaito then chuckled. "Not bad, he got himself a beautiful strawberry-blonde, but yes, I am Shinichi's cousin." He noticed her staring at him while squinting her eyes a little, he walked closer to her.

Shiho didn't move, nor did she speak, her thoughts were filling her head. 'is it really not shinichi? He looks exactly like him, he's also handsome like him..' she thought as he got closer to her and held her face. She mentally shook her head and removed her thoughts aside when he touched her.

"You may look like Shinichi..a lot but don't try to trick me into kissing you." She said stepping away from him. He chuckled. "Relax icy, I was gonna stop eventually, it's crazy how you almost thought of me as him." He said teasing her. "Icy?" She asked raising a brow. "Yeah? It suits you don't you think?" She sighed and they started having a little chat.

"Weren't you watching her aho!" Heiji said and Kazuha was worried. "I'm so sorry, I thought of that plan..it's all my fault." Kazuha said tearing up. Heiji held her shoulders and calmed her down. "It's not, don't blame yourself." After a min, they started looking for Shiho. 'why couldn't I have had a normal cousin.' Shinichi thought. He knew Kaito wouldn't do anything to her but he still needed to know where she was.

Suddenly he remembered something. Kaito would still be in a high place but less people. He went inside a building and in the elevator to the top floor, he went up the stairs to the roof, it was unlocked.

He opened the door and saw two figures that looked like a man's and woman's, he walked slowly to try and see better. Kaito saw him though and thought of an idea as he smirked in his head. "Turn around." He said, Shiho looked confusingly at him then slowly turned around.

"Shi? Is that you?" She heard a voice call, she squinted to try and see who it is, but she suddenly saw black for a few secs and then could finally see, but this time she saw two figures, as they both came closer, Shiho saw that there were two Shinichis..

"Okay what is going on?" She asked. "Shiho it's me, Kaito suddenly blurred your vision and dressed up as me." The Shinichi on the right said. "You literally did that Kaito, Shiho, I'm the real Shinichi." The Shinichi on the left said.

"Okay first how did Kaito dress up in less than 5 secs??" "I don't know, ask him." The two Shinichis both said at the same time.

"Look Shi, Kaito is trying to trick you." Right Shinichi said. "No you are trying to trick her." Left Shinichi said looking at left Shinichi. "Okay shut up both of you, I'll ask a question only the real Shinichi knows." Both of them nodded as Shiho spoke. "What's my sister's name?" "Akemi!" Both answered and looked at each other. Shiho sighs and pinches her nose bridge.

Left Shinichi walked up to her and put his hands on her shoulder. "Listen to me Shi, I am the real Shinichi." Right Shinichi then walked up to her as well and held her hands. "No I am." They both took turns proving themselves. Shiho wasn't paying attention though. 'Two Shinichis? and..' she looked at their hands on her body, and their faces, they were too close to her. 'too much..' she thought as she suddenly passed out as both of the guys caught her.

Rooftop, 8:22 pm..

Shi slowly opened her eyes and saw 4 eyes staring back at her, but this time it was two slightly different people. "You're awake, here." Kaito gave her a water bottle from I don't know where. She took it and drank a little when she realized.

"Shinichi? Kaito?" She said as she saw Shinichi kiss her temple. "What happened, how did you pass out?" He asked her, as he helped her stand up. 'oh yeah, what do I tell him?' she thought. "I guess I was just tired." She said. "Sorry for making you confused, Kaito here was being a little troublemaker." Shinichi said glaring at Kaito. "Whatt, I just wanted to joke around with her a bit." Kaito said smiling.

"Whatever, everyone's looking for you by the way." Shinichi said. "Yea I know, I'll make a proper ending for them, also take this, I don't want it, I got something better." He said winking at Shiho, she blushed slightly. She couldn't help it, he looked a lot like Shinichi.

"Watch it." Shinichi said taking the necklace from him. "Kidding!" Kaito said. "Now I shall be leaving, hopefully we'll meet again icy." Kaito said grabbing her hand and kissing it. Shinichi rolled his eyes and pushed him away when he let go of her hand. Kaito then walked up to the railings and let himself fall, Shiho saw as he began to fly with his wind glider.

"Not the type I was expecting.." Shiho said looking at Shinichi. "I heard you almost thought he was me." Shinichi said turning to her as he walks closer. "I couldn't see very well, also he was the one who took advantage of my clueless self." Shiho said stepping back. "Mhm, now what was the real reason you passed out?" He asked cornering her by the railing.

Shiho didn't expect him to ask this question, she didn't know what to say. He put both of his hands on both sides of the railing, her in the middle, he leaned his head a bit so now they were in the same level. "Why aren't you answering?" He teased her as he got closer to her face.

"Is it maybe because, there was two of me?" He asked, one hand on her hips. Shiho couldn't utter a single word. He brought the other hand on her hips and connected their bodies together, she gasped at the close approximity, and Shinichi took this time to kiss her and slither his tongue in her mouth, sucking her lips.

Her hands automatically wrap around his head as they get closer to each other, he pushed himself on her, pulling her hips towards him. She was shocked at the bulge that was in his pants, hard as rocks. "I need you.." he said in between kisses, his tongue was practically almost in her throat. She moaned at the feeling.

He went slowly down her jaw and kissed her down to her neck, he went to the back of her neck to place some hickeys since they were in public and her hickeys would show infront. She moaned and pulled on his hair. He licked the hickey he made on her neck and started to kiss back up her throat.

"Can you feel how much I want you?" He asked her as he thrusted his hips on hers, she moaned a little louder and quickly brought her hand to her mouth. He removed her hands and kissed her again.

After about a few mins, they finished and breathed heavily to catch their breath. "Shoot I forgot to call Heiji and tell him I found you." He said and grabbed his phone from his pants. Shiho was surprised he could quickly go from romantic to this but didn't show it.

Shinichi hung up the phone after a little. "Alright let's go back to Hattori's." He said as they walked down the building.
