Eda’s POV
“Dineadale what did you do?” I yell at him.
“Listen here kid if you just stayed where you belonged then none of this would’ve happened,” he growled.
“I hate you!” I scream. “I hate you so much! All you’ve done is ruined my life!” Legolas wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me to his chest. I turned around in his arms and started to cry. The stress from everything is starting to get to me. I’m slowly crumbling.
“Where is the boy Dineadale?” Thranduil asked.
“Your majesty,” he spat, “nice of you to join the conversation.”
“Answer my question!” he demanded.
“Like I will ever tell you!”

I laid in the bed I was given wanted to shutout the world. I couldn’t deal with anyone right now; I already broke down in front of Legolas I can’t break down in front of the whole kingdom! I’m going to give Legolas a bad reputation. He’s going to be known for saving the freaky girl who has no control over her life.
He probably doesn’t even like me anymore. He’s most likely tried of all the trouble that seems to follow me around. He’s going to dump me on the streets and leave me as a beggar for the rest of my immortal life.
I’m going to die alone!
These thought made me burst into tears; I started to shake uncontrollably and couldn’t catch my breath.
I heard the door open and then feet ran over to my bed. Warm arms wrapped around me and put me on someone’s lap.
“Shh, everything’s going to be alright Eda,” I heard Melui sooth. I relaxed in his arms a little but kept on crying. Just the thought of Legolas leaving me broke my heart.
We sat there for hours and Melui didn’t once leave me. He just sat there rocking me back and forth telling me that everything was going to be ok.
Finally I got myself to calm down and we just sat there in silence.
“Eda can I ask you a question?” Melui asked me after a while.
“Yes,” I croaked.
“Why were you crying like that?” he asked.
“Melui Legolas is going to leave me,” I told him. “Legolas is going to realize that there are ways better elves on this earth and he’s going to leave me!”
“No Eda, don’t think that,” he told me.
“How can I not think that?” I asked him. “Trouble follows me around, I only hurt people.”
“Eda you didn’t hurt me, you gave me a chance at a better life. And Do you think Legolas would travel for days and weeks to find you if he didn’t care about you?”
“No, I guess not,” I told him.
“You should really go talk to him,” Melui told me. “He is up in his office.”
I got up and soon was at the door that separated Legolas from me. I went to knock then pulled my hand back, he’s probably busy. I will come back later. I went to turn around when I heard his voice, “Eda I know you are out there.”
I turned and slowly opened the door. Legolas was leaning back in his chair with a smirk on his face. I shut the door behind me and walked to the front of his desk.
“Is there something you wanted to talk about Eda?” he asked me.
“Um, maybe?”
“Eda you know you can tell me anything right?” he asked.
I sighed, “I know Legolas, I trust you so much it scares me.”
“Good I always want you to know that.”
“Legolas, when are you going to get rid of me?” I blurted out.
He looked at me with confusion, and then anger. He stands up from his chair and then walks over to me.”What do you mean get rid of you?”
“Legolas we both know that there are other women in this world that don’t bring trouble wherever they go, and soon you will get tired of me. I’m all ready tired of me for goodness sakes!” I explain to him.
He puts both his hands on my shoulders, “Eda look at me.”
I look up into his beautiful blue eyes. “I don’t want any other woman, I want you.”
