‘I don’t want any other woman, I want you,’ kept going through my head.

I just left Legolas’s office and was in a dreamland. He wants me, like wants me wants me. It’s all that any elf (or fangirl) would ever want. Legolas Greenleaf. The strong sexy warrior elf prince, my strong sexy warrior elf prince.

Footsteps from behind me brought me out of my dream land. “Eda.” It was Thranduil.

“How may I help you my king?” I ask with a slight bow.

“I want to talk to you about something,” he tells me.

“Of course sir.”

“Come with me to my office,” he says and then starts to walk away.

I follow him through the labyrinth of caverns. I eventually lost track of where we were. We finally walked up to a huge oak door. He pushed it open to reveal a huge office with books lining the wall. In the center sat a huge desk with papers scattered over it, and behind a huge chair that could be considered a throne.

“Please sit,” he said motioning to a chair in front of his desk. I lightly sit down wondering what he would want to talk to me about.

“First of all I want to tell you to beware and always be on the lookout,” he says confusing me.

“What do you mean sir?” I ask.

“We found some people working for your father within the castle and suspect there is more, closer than we all think.” He said with hatred.

“H-how do you know a-about my father?” I squeaked out. Neither Legolas nor I told him.

He laughed a dry cold hearted laugh, “You think you can hide something like that from me?” he roared. “I wasn’t born yesterday, Eda.”

I looked down ashamed for lying to my king.

“Eda, the thing about Legolas is that he is too soft. He lets people in without second thought, it weakens him. You weaken him.”

“He is not weak!” I say raising my voice.

“He’s not weak but you’re his weakness,” he says while staring at me.

I honestly couldn’t argue with that, “You’re right. You are so right.” I say, tears pouring out of my eyes.

“Legolas says he loves you when the boy doesn’t even know what love is,” he says to me. “Eda within three months time I’m holding a ball, at this ball there will be all the royal maidens. I want you out before then. Without a trace. Actually I want you out by tonight.”

Everything inside of me fell. My fairytales were crushed multiple times until; they were little pieces that flew away with the wind. I felt my world falling down.

“I will give you and your brother everything you need, a girl named Linelle (Eda’s best friend) came looking for you too, take her with you.” He said, his voice without any emotion. “Dismissed.”

I slowly got up, my eyes watery and made my way to the door. My body felt heavy, I felt as if every step was a mile. I opened the door and went to walk out when I heard his voice again.

“Remember without a trace.”
