Chapter 18 memories part 1

I'm so sore; my legs, arms, chest, head. everything is so sore!I couldn't open my eyes they felt like they were bruised. Am I at home? What happened? I can't remember a thing...Wait!?*flashback*Jonghyun leaned in his head closer to mine, pouting his lips and eyeing my lips as he got closer. Please don't! It was only a few more centimetres and he would have his lips on mine.

"NO!" I yelled and pulled away...

*flashback end*

Jonghyun?.... I tried to open my eyes but my head thumped harder when I tried so I stopped. "Owe!" I yelled. Well at least my voice isn't broken.I rub my head and slowly opened my eyes. They took a while to clear but yep I was in a hospital. "He-he- Heellllooo?" I called out but know one came.I looked around the room for a red button... Ah there it is! A red button was on the side of my bed. I quickly pressed it. This alerts the nurses and doctors to come.

After a few seconds, a nurse peeked her head in the door."Oh your awake!" The nurse said very surprised and closed the door disappearing.I stared at the door and blinked fast. What?It took only another few seconds for the door to open.A man with a long white coat; doctor, followed by the nurse that was here before.

"Ah hello Layna, how are you?" The Doctor asked with such a cheerful mood. I didn't respond. He looked at a clipboard that has attached to the end of my bed. "Mmmmm" he moaned as he read what ever it said on it.

He looked over to me and rubbed his chin. "How are you feeling?" He asked."I don't know.." I said confused. I tried to sit up but the pain I'm my stomach and chest ached even more and I felt the urge to vomit. My Instant reaction was to cover my mouth.The doctor faked to clear his throat and gave a signal to the nurse. She raced around the room and finally picked up a bucket (I don't know what they would use in the hospital for spewing so let's just go with 'bucket') and handed it to me.

I spat out what was in my stomach and then the nurse a wipe. She took the bucket and left the room. I started to wipe my mouth.The doctor walked over to a table next to me. It had a jug of water and a few cups. He started to fill the cup with water. "That was just your nurse Haejoon" the doctor said while giving me the cup.

I whispered a thank you as I took it from him. "So who are you?" I asked and took a sip of my water."Oh yes I am your doctor. Doctor Choi" He answered. I nodded and continued to drink my water. I placed the cup back on the side table when I finished.I looked back to Doctor Choi and asked "why am I here?" I was so confused."Can't you remember?" Doctor Choi asked. I shook my head.

"You can't remember at all?" He asked again. I looked away from him and thought. Then suddenly a memory came through...*flashback*It was less than a few seconds that I got hit by a car. I wasn't dragged under or flown over. I was just hit and it caused me to collapse.All I know is that I'm feeling so much pain. I don't know if I'm bleeding but I felt like knives were stabbed in every part of my body.I couldn't breath as well, my lungs felt like they were filling up and I was drowning.My eyes were all foggy, fuzzy and unclear. I see men and woman surround me but the only closest that came was... Jonghyun."Layna I'm so sorry! I'm so so sorry!" I felt his tears drop onto my face.

He held the back of my head but it wasn't long until he pulled his hand away to have blood on his hand. I'm bleeding!? He looked away from me and to everyone "someone get help!!" He yelled and looked back to me.

"Stay with me please!" He whispered. I felt the urge to just go to sleep.I slowly closed my eyes.

*flashback ended*

"So I was..- I got hit by a car?" I asked the doctor. He nodded. "I didn't know that getting hit by a car would hurt so mu-"

"You went into emergency operation because your side chest was damaged. You broke a rib and this caused to cut one of your lungs. You popped out your shoulder and twisted your ankle" the doctor said interrupting me. As he kept saying more things that happened to me, my eyes widened more.

"But don't worry I put you on a lot of medication" he said smiling. I nodded.I slowly pulled my top up to see my chest.I couldn't see anything because a big bandage was on the side of my chest. Around the bandage though my skin was all purple and grey. It's bruised.Makes sense to why I can't sit up."When will it heal? When can I go?" I asked still staring at it. I was in shock.

"You will go home when your chest heals. From this you can't breath properly and you can't leave until you can breath properly. So I'm thinking you will be here for around 3 weeks" he answered.My jaw dropped, making me notice that I had something on my face. I went to touch it noticing what it was.It was this tube going across under my nose. It had two little tubes that went into my nose."You will have that on for maybe 2 weeks" Doctor Choi said watching me.I looked to him properly and moved my hand away from my face. I nodded.

"When can I walk?" I then asked. "Well the quicker you walk Layna, the quicker you can leave. I reckon we will make you start walking when you can get the oxygen tubes out." He answered.

Then the door suddenly opened, it was Haejoon. She walked over to the doctor and whispered something in his ear.But I heard "she has many guests waiting to see her. Shall we let them in?" "Ah yes but just let the parents come in first." Parents? My Appa is the only one here.

The nurse quickly walked out of the room. The doctor then looked back to me. "You need to know that you have been-" Doctor choi was cut off by the door opening and...

"LAYNA!!!" My mum yelled."Mum!" I yelled surprised. She came running to me and kissed my fore head constantly. My appa also came in but he just walked over.(Layna's mother speaks only english and little korean. She speaks English to Layna and Layna's appa. Layna and appa also speak English to the mother)"I missed you so much Layna!" She backed away. I noticed hat her hair was very messy and face was plain, no makeup. That's not mum.

"Mum how long have you been here?" I asked."Sweetie you were in a comer for the past 3 days so I've been here everyday." Mum answered. I was so confused. The doctor didn't tell me- I instantly looked to Doctor Choi who was at the end of my bed with the nurse."When were you gonna tell me this?" I asked. Mum didn't know what I was saying to the doctor because she doesnt really speak korean."Uh well I was about to tell you but your family came in" doctor choi answered.

I sighed and looked back to my parents. My eyes laid onto appa. "Appa? How long have you been here?" I asked. I'm sure appa didn't stay the whole time like mum because of his work and everything.."3 days" he simply answered. I looked to mum and raised an eyebrow. She nodded her head meaning that he was serious.

"What about work?" I asked appa as I looked back to him."They let me have some time off. Until you get better I'll go back" he answered. Mum hit his stomach and looked to him annoyed."You can go back to work! I will look after her" she said and looked to me with a warm smile. "I'm staying in the guest room at your house until your better" she added. Once she said that, I smiled so bright that it made me forget the pain that was aching all over. My mum is staying here! In South Korea! At my house!

"So now missy we need to discuss something" she said with a serious tone. What? She gave a signal to the doctor and nurse to be alone with me. They nodded and left the room.She looked back to me and sat down on a chair that was beside my bed. "Who are the five boys that are in the waiting room?" Five boys? Wait a minute! No no no!

"Five boys?" I asked pretending I didn't have a clue. "Yes. They say they are here to see you" mum answered. "Are you sure?" I asked. Mum nodded her head."There must be another Layna in the hospital" I say looking to my hands and fiddled with my fingers."No I don't think there would be another Layna-"

"Yeah I'm pretty sure" I said nodding. Mum started to laugh."You are a terrible liar You know?" My mum said still laughing. I sighed and nodded."I know you know them. Who are they?" She asked excitedly. My mum is really cool with this stuff but my appa....I looked to appa then to mum. "Uh ha ha WELL" I said trying to give my mum a signal that appa was still in the room.

Mum got the message and turned to appa. "Why don't you go home. Go take a shower and sleep" mum said warmly to appa.They still care for each other. Even though they are divorced.It makes me wish they could get back together. Appa smiled and nodded. He looked to me and waved. "I'll see you later then Layna" appa said. I nodded and waved back. He walked out of the room. Mum quickly looked back to me. "So who are those boys?" She said quickly.

I thought for a moment... How can I explain this.. "Can I borrow your phone?" I asked. I don't know where mine is...She nodded and handed me the phone. I went into youtube and searched up 'SHINee boys meet u" because this is there latest.Once I found the music video, I put it on and handed it to mum."Watch it" I simply say. Mum nodded and watched it all.

Once she saw all Boys she covered her mouth in shock. "Are these boys famous?" She asked. When the video finished."Yes. I went to there concert and one of the boys hit my head with their microphone and not long after that we all became friends" I say. Well probably not anymore.

"Really? Oh poor boys they must really want to see you" she said worriedly and stood up. "I'll send them in" she said and walked to the door."No mum!" I kept saying but she didn't listen and left. I face palmed and growled.

After a few minutes the door opened. The first person to enter was Minho followed by: Taemin, Key, Onew and then Jonghyun.They quickly paced over to me, Jonghyun didn't. Mum quickly popped her head in "Layna I'm going home to have a wash. See you later okay then" she said.

"Mum! Mum wai-" I tried to say but she waved and then left. I sighed and slammed my head back onto the pillows.

"Layna we are so happy to see you-" Key tried to say but I cut him off."I don't want to hear a sorry, forgive us or anything that had to do with that day okay!? I can't really remember it and I don't want to" I said. From saying that, I remembered something from that day... The day of the car accident.

*flashback*I'm in the hospital and on a gurney (those wheeling hospital beds) being pushed through the hospital. I have a oxygen mask on my face because I couldn't breath. My eyes were all fuzzy and blurry. I couldn't see much but the medical people around my bed pushing it. Jonghyun was also there, how did I know it was him? Well...He was holding my hand, he's bright blonde hair was very very noticeable and bright. And his voice, I could hear his nice voice, Although he was crying.

"Layna hold on okay! I'm so sorry! Please stay!" He kept crying out. As I got pulled into a room. Jonghyun had to stay behind. Jonghyun stood there and I heard 3 words that everyone wants to hear "I love you". I used my last strength to smile at him before the doors shut. I wanted him to know that it was okay, I'm okay and everything will be okay.*flashback ended*

"I-I already said that its okay." I whispered but loud enough for them to all hear. I looked over to Jonghyun who was behind everyone. He was looking at his fingers while fiddling with them. When he looked up, he noticed that I was looking at him. He instantly looked back down.

"Jonghyun can you come here?" I asked him. He looked over to me then to Taemin. Why was he looking at Taemin? He then looked back to me and slowly walked over.

He came up right next to the bed. I smiled. I felt happy when he was here, maybe because he said that he loves me. I felt a little warm feeling in my heart flutter when I heard it and I really like that new feeling.Also I'm a fan of him so... HELL YEAH IM HAPPY!Yes I did say I didn't want to be friends or have anything to do have with him and that also meant not to be a SHINee fan... I think though from those words, those three words... It made me realise that they are really sorry and didn't mean to do it and Blah blah blah... Most importantly Jonghyun said sorry and he said that he loves me!!

I forgive you! I defiantly forgive you!"Hi" I said quietly and with a loving cute tone. He just smiled and said nothing.Key sighed and crossed his arms looking to Jonghyun. "What's wrong with you Jonghyun!? You were so worried about Layna and now she's finally awake! Talk to her!"

Jonghyun chuckled a little and nodded. He looked back to me with a smile. "Hi" he whispered. His voice was so croaky like he was just crying. But his eyes weren't red and his cheeks weren't puffy.

He looked down at my hand and slowly and took his hand out of his Jean pocket. He put his hand onto mine and stroked his thumb along my hand. All I could think was 'he's caring for me' it was adorable. I felt bright and bubbly at the moment. That warm feeling came back again and I enjoyed it.

I then suddenly felt a drop of water hit my hand. I automatically looked to Jonghyun's eyes and saw that he was crying. "Jonghyun" I whispered shocked. Jonghyun started to cry even more.

"I'm just so happy that you are awake" he whispered with a smile. I smiled to his words.I looked over to the other boys to see that they were comfortably sitting on chairs or leaning on the walls. But Taemin... He stood in the middle of the room. What's wrong with him? It's scaring me... He looked at bit sad and angry. His eyes were red and his cheeks were puffy. I don't like to see Tae upset because normally he is happy.

He stared into my eyes when he noticed that I was looking at him. Did he want me to see him like this? For some reason, I didn't want him to see me like this, in pain.We stared at each other for like a minute or two and no one said anything.I could see Jonghyun in the corner of my eyes slowly turn around maybe to see what I was looking at. Taemin broke the stare by looking to Jonghyun. Taemin gave him a deep and strong stare before leaving the room.I looked to Jonghyun confused but he didn't say anything. I was curious though... Did something happen?

But anyway What do guys like about the story so far? Are you Shipping? Taemin and Layna or Jonghyun and Layna or neither because you want Taemin or Jonghyun? I want Taemin!! Haha anyway...I have a question for you all Question- who is your Bias of SHINee?If you can't tell... Jonghyun was my bias but Taemin is now my bias. This is why I am writing a story mainly about these two Hahaha.Well anyway until next time BYEEEE-Amber
