VIII ~ Market

"You still haven't found him!?"

Estarossa angrily punched the wall. "First you allow to be captured but now you can't even locate him!?" The Commandments shrink back from his rage.

"Estarossa, you must calm down," Monspiet said, trying to reason with him. "Meliodas is with him so I'm sure-"

"Sure about what?" Estarossa snapped. "Why would he even care about him!?" The Commandments were silent. They had no proof to show that Meliodas would protect him.

"We'll try and find him again."

Once in his room, Meliodas tossed Zeldris a black button up and some pants. He put them on. He looked at Meliodas, who looked like he was planning something. He then came over and ruffled Zeldris' hair so it looked like his own.

"W-What are you doing!?" Zeldris yelled. He jumped back trying to fix his hair but failing.

"Your hair is very noticeable," Meliodas explained. "Also put on this jacket and pull the hood up." He tossed it to him and he put it on. He pulled the hood on and his hair was pressed down. "And deactivate your demon mark."

"But I can't even-"

"Zel..."

Zeldris sighed and hid the demon mark. He opened his eyes to reveal green ones that mirrored Meliodas'. They then made their way out to town.

"Alright, we need to get some vegetables, fruits, ale, and some meat," Meliodas listed.

"So everything," Zeldris summarized. Meliodas chuckled and nodded. They went around and bought what they needed. He handed some bags to Zeldris as Howzer walks up.

"Yo Howzer!" Meliodas greeted cheerfully. "How are you doing?" Howzer grinned.

"Hey, Meliodas!" Howzer replied. "I'm doing good. You?" Meliodas shifted the bags to one arm.

"Fine," Meliodas said. "Has anyone found anything out about lil Gil?" Howzer shook his head gloomily. "That's too bad."

"Well, either way... Who's this? Get a new employee?" Howzer asked, looking at Zeldris.

"Sorta..." Meliodas answered.

"Wait a minute..." Howzer mumbled and leaned towards Zeldris. They both froze up. How was the kid who failed to recognize Meliodas back at Vaizel catching onto a kid he's seen once? (A/N - Though seriously how didn't he recognize him?) "Why does he seem familiar?"
