IX ~ Howzer

"Why does he look familiar?"

Meliodas gently nudged Zeldris behind him. "Is he..." Howzer was still thinking. They could probably dismiss themselves before he put two and two together.

"We should probably-" Meliodas started but he was too late.

"Is that Zeldor-!" Howzer was cut off by Meliodas hand. He had quickly covered his mouth and began dragging him off with Zeldris following close behind. They were behind a building in an alley. "Dude what the heck!"

"Were you seriously about to yell that in the middle of town!?" Meliodas scolded. Howzer laughed guiltily.

"Oops," Howzer said. "But really, why is Zeldoris here and how is he not killing everyone?" Meliodas looked at Zeldris, who had pulled his hood farther over his face.

"Merlin captured him and placed a magic sealing thingy on him," Meliodas explained. "His magic doesn't work anymore, I'm in charge of him."

"What if the rest of Ten Commandments come for him?" Howzer asked. Meliodas shrugged. Merlin never addressed that issue and he had honestly forgotten about them. "Well, I guess if he can't do anything, it won't be an issue." Howzer scratched the back of his head. "Anyway, I gotta go. See ya."

After Howzer walked away, Meliodas sighed in relief. He turned to Zeldris who was trying even out the weight of the bags on his arms. "Let's head back shall we?" Zeldris nodded and followed him back to the Boar Hat. They put the food away and went upstairs to Meliodas' room.
