Tris' POV

BEEP BEEP BEEP

urgh, school today. I really don't want to go but also, I really want to just get back to normal, so I am going. I get up and shower. I wear khaki camouflage kapris, a white tank top and a crop khaki sweater that says BOSS on it. I tie my hair in a high pony tail, do a smoky eye effect with red lipstick, pull on my black combat boots and head downstairs.

I get into the kitchen and grab a muffin. "Bea, I have a surprise for you!" says my dad. He looks really excited so I follow him. We walk outside and go into the garage. "OH MY WOW!" I exclaim. In front of me is a black and red motor bike. It is amazing! "thank you daddy!!" he chuckles and hugs me. Just then Tobias comes out. "what's all the squealing about?" he asks. "I got a motorbike!" I squeal, pointing. "No fair!" he says laughing. I finish eating my muffin. "well I'm off to school, see you suckas! I love you" They then get in a fight about who I said it to. I just laugh, put on my helmet and drive to school.

I pull into the car park and everyone is looking at me, so just for fun and dramatic effect, I get off, slowly remove my helmet and shake my hair like they do in the movies. Then I sling my helmet under my arm and walk over to Uriah and Zeke who are just standing with their mouths wide open. "Now that was hot!" says Zeke, and Uriah nods so I just give them both a death glare. "Where's Four?" asks Uri. "arguing with my dad about who I love more" I reply, laughing. "That's stupid!" says Zeke. I nod. "We all know you love me the moat" he finishes. "yeeeaaahhh..." just then Chris comes and saves me from their weirdness, followed by Shauna, Lynn, Marlene, Will and finally Tobas. "what took you so long?!" I ask. "Caleb got involved in the arguement" I scoff "yeah, out of the three of you I definitely don't love him the most!" "yeah we all known it's my Dad" "me" "me" say Tobias, Zeke and I at the same time. we all just look at Zeke. Then Tobias realises what I said. "Hey!" I smile. "I love you in a different way but he has raised me and just got me a motorbike" I explain. He seems surprisingly pleased with my answer. "No explanation for me?" asks Zeke, hand on heart with a mocking hurt tone. "no". i say simply before walking inside.

*time lapse to gym*

"Alright class, cheerleaders training over there, your captain will be joining you in a few minutes, football players out on the field!" orders coach. I turn to Chris. "I didn't get to try out, I was with Four!" I exclaim, tryouts had been when tobias was in hospital for Four months. "don't worry, there is still a space, we told the cheerleading coach. We don't know who our captain is yet so you haven't missed making the routine. go talk to Amar" I nod and walk over to him. "Ah, miss Prior, the cheerleading coach is Tori, she wants to talk to you outside" I nod and go to find Tori.

"Ah Tris, I understand you wanted to be a cheerleader?" I nod. "well I did some research on you, champion cheerleader four years running!" I blush, no one else knows. "anyway, for that reason you didn't need to try out, you are captain." I am shocked. "Really?!" I ask, excited. "yep, here is your uniform" I thank her and run back into the gym. Cheerleaders here I come.
