Day 27- Kidnapped and Trapped
10:18, 22 September 2016I dramatically opened my eyes. The atmosphere was cold...
Where am I?
My head was aching badly but at least I could move my body now.I saw a few cardboard boxes in front of me which were labelled "Ice".
Confusedly I looked around but stopped when I saw someone beside me.It was a boy who was unconscious.
His eyes were covered with a black cloth and his mouth was taped shut, plus his hands were tied up as well so that makes me a percent less afraid of him.
Frightened, I crawled a few inches backwards and looked around me again. This time, I assumed the place I was in judging from the boxes and the supplies it contained.A cold storage.
"ANYONE THERE! SOMEONE HELP ME! IM STUCK WITH A STRANGER HERE!" I yelled and quickly got up.
I dashed towards the door and banged it a couple of times."Somebody help!" But to no avail.
The last I remember was getting smacked by someone which means that someone threw me here with someone.
Wow, seriously, I should become Sherlock Holmes for deducing this so quickly.
"SOMEBODY PLEASE! HELP ME! I DON'T WANT TO DIE HERE! I HAVE A LONG LIFE TO LIVE! I NEED TO PROVE MY LOVE TO SOMEONE AND I NEED TO TALK TO MY ONE TRUE LOVE! PLEASE--"
Suddenly, the stranger behind me started to make strange noises.
I ceased what I was doing and the man continued to make muffled noises. But I continued banging the door again, "PLEASE OPEN THE DOOR! THIS STRANGER JUST WOKE UP AND I DON'T WANT TO DIE WITH HIM! WHAT IF HE DOES SOMETHING TO ME!"
There was probably no one to hear my SOS and wasting my time here would only make me lose my energy.
I need to conserve whatever strength I have left to fight this stranger and save myself from here.
I turned around and slowly approached the individual.
"Who are you?" I asked and he muffled again. "Oh sorry...you can't speak at the current state, right?"
He muffled something again and then tried to show me his hands.
"You want me to untie you?"
He nodded.
"But what if you do something to me? Like kill me? This might me that Meredy's plan, right?"
He shook his head.
"What is the guarantee that you won't kill me!"
He didn't say anything.
But I think he's a victim of the kidnapping as well...or else why would he be tied up?
Should I trust him?
What if he can let me out?
This is a do or die situation!
Choose Erza! Untie him or...
"Fine, I will untie you but you gotta promise me something."
He muffled again.
"You won't touch a hair of mine!"
He nodded.
"All right...I'm trusting you okay?" I gingerly walked towards him and knelt down."I'm gonna untie you now..." Hesitantly, I untied the rope and crawled back again defensively.
I really wish I had said yes to taekwondo when dad said he would join me...It would have come in handy.
Guys, take my advice and learn taekwondo cause you never know when you will need to use your skills to fight off Strangers and evil masterminds who plan on breaking someone's relationship!
Of a sudden, my jaw dropped upon seeing the person in front of me. He pulled off the tape from his mouth and looked at me annoyingly.
I slowly crawled towards him with my eyes wide open, "You..." And hugged him tightly. "What are you doing here?"
"You know you're a real trouble maker." He sighed.
I pulled out of the hug and stared at him, "I-I'm not dreaming, am I? Is is not my illusion or delusion or anything, right?" I poked his cheek, then pinched it, then touched his hair but he caught my hand and pulled me towards him, "I'm real."
His eyes...They were so cold yet so warm.
"Jellal-Kun..."
"Will you stop calling me that." He let go of my hand and pushed back his hair, "We are in a cold storage, huh? Aren't you feeling cold?"
"I am..." I sat down, crossing my legs and rubbed my palms.
"Here," He took off his jacket and handed it to me, "Wear it."
"But then you will feel cold--"
"I'm a guy, I won't." He said.
I scoffed, "Yeah right, you're a guy. Like guys don't feel cold--"
He looked at me seriously so I had no choice but to wear it, "Gee...how stubborn. Anyway, we need to find a way to get out of here."
"We can't unless someone opens it from the outside." He said.
"Great..."
"Do you have your phone?" He asked.
I quickly checked my pockets but it wasn't there, maybe the person who threw me here took it? "I don't have it."
"Neither do I."
"What are we gonna do then? We can't call anyone for help, can we?"
"Well, guess we just gotta wait."
"Ugh! I'm sure it's all that demon Meredy's work! Oh--" I looked at Jellal, "I have something to say to you."
"About Meredy and Mimi, right?"
"Yes! Wait, how did you--?"
"I knew it from the start." He averted his gaze elsewhere.
"What do you mean from the start? Don't tell me...you planned this with her--"
"Shut up and first listen to me, will you?" He sharply said.
"Okay..."
"I knew it the day after she arrived. She was talking to Meredy on the phone, of course, she doesn't know that I know but I knew she was up to something."
"I'm glad..." I took a sigh of relief, "But, how did you end up here?"
"Don't even ask, I saw someone putting you in the back of the van from my window and like I had a choice, I wouldn't just let you put all Momo's burden on me, so I ran behind the van--"
"You ran behind the van?! For me?!"
"And now because of you, here I am."
"Couldn't you fight him?"
"It was two versus one, an unfair game." He clicked his tongue.
"But--Fernandes, I am truly touched by your courage."
"Gee Scarlet, don't get started." He crossed his arms.
"But seriously, you ran for me? For me! I need to tweet it."
"I need to thank those guys for taking away your phone." He smirked.
"I need to thank them for keeping you here with me." I smirked back.
"Don't you have anything better to do than keep me in your mind for twenty four-seven?"
"I-I don't keep you in my mind twenty four-seven!"
"Yeah right, look who's talking."
"That aside," I cleared my throat, "Can't you talk to your fiancé and get us out of here?"
"I could if I had my damn phone."
"Right, the phones the problem here...curse you kidnappers, Meredy and Mimi!" I clenched my fist.
"Scarlet, we have to wait. Knowing Meredy, once she finds out I'm here, she'll definitely come, in fact, she will be the one to get us out of here. Personally."
"And how can you be so sure?" I raised a brow.
"Don't you trust me?" He glanced at me.
"Damn you Fernandes, of course I trust you."
"Good, then wait."
"Ugh...waiting is boring." I groaned.
"Then dance or sing but don't annoy me."
"Yeah yeah." I rolled my eyes.
I sat beside Jellal, however, just a few inches away and breathed heavily.
To be honest, being in the same place at the same time makes me happy. It gives me hope that our-- actually "his"-- true emotions will erupt.
It's definite destiny, isn't it?
Guess fate is on my side after all.
