I'm too embarrassed to meet him right now...What should I say when he asks me, "Where did you run off to yesterday, Scarlet?" (I actually imitated it in his voice)

Ugh! My heart is pounding so fast! I could hear it and I think the people around me could too...

I looked around to see if I see any handsome, blue-haired guy approaching me that would make the girls super jealous but no.

I looked around and kept looking around until out of the blue, I got a sudden shock when I looked in front of me.

Mimi was heading towards me. Alone.

Reflexively, I advanced towards her and we both stopped in a fair distance.

"Ah, Mimi-Chan, what are you doing here?"

"Erza-San, can we get to the matter instead of the annoying formalities."

Eh? What's with the sudden change of attitude...and tone.

"I need you to stay away from Jellal because he belongs to Meredy-San only."

Wait...what? What the hell is she talking about?

"Now you might have a dozen questions to ask me but I don't want to answer any of them to you."

"Mimi-Chan, what are you talking about? You...you know Meredy?"

Mimi scoffed, "Know her? I'm her little sister Erza-San. I think you might have figured out by now why I'm close to Jellal. Well, let me tell you anyway, It's to keep you away from him." She crossed her arms.

No way...Then does that mean...

"Yeah, and the baby, she isn't my sister. I don't know whose baby it is but I thought it was a nice opportunity to, you know, take advantage of the situation."

What is this...I'm not dreaming, am I? Please, somebody tell me this a bad dream cause my heads getting pretty messed up here.

"You're not expecting Jellal to be here, right? Cause I was the one who sent you a message in the first place."

The hell? Okay, this is getting out of hand.Who the hell does she think she is?

And on top of that Meredy sent her to keep me away from my only true love?!

That is so low!

Before I realised what I was doing, I had slapped Mimi-Chan real hard.And to be honest, although she is just thirteen, I don't regret it one bit because girls like her should be punished no matter what the age.

She held her cheek tightly and gradually tears were welling in her eyes.

"Er-Erza-San..."

"Don't Erza-San me. What would happen if I tell all this to Jellal?" I asked her.

"Meredy-San has many ways to not let that happen!"

"Tch...I didn't think she would do something so low...wait, actually she is capable of doing such cheap tricks just to keep me away."

"Don't you dare say anything about her!"

"Mimi-Chan, you know you are ruining a baby's life here. If you hadn't showed up, then maybe Me and Jellal could have found her real owner but you...didn't you even think about this baby? On how her life would turn out to be after you are successful in keeping me away from Jellal?"

She kept quiet but then spoke softly, "Meredy-San--"

"To hell with your Meredy!" I yelled, "What would she do, huh? Take care of the baby with Jellal? Like I would let that happen!" I turned around and without talking anything further, stomped away from her.

"WAIT! ERZA-SAN! I WOULD SUGGEST YOU DON'T DO ANYTHING BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT MEREDY-SAN IS CAPABLE OF!" She shouted from behind and I heard what she said but ignored her.

She's just trying to scare me and I don't think she knows this but I don't get scared that easily by mere threats from thirteen year olds.

This is just too much.This is not right.I have to inform Jellal about this right this instant!

I stopped near the bus stand and took out my phone.

Jellal, you there?

There was no reply from him.

Jellal! It's urgent! Reply! I need to talk to you about something!

Still no reply. He was last seen on 3:50 PM.

Damn it! Guess going to his house is the only option I have now.

I took the bus and headed straight to Jellal's house.

I still can't believe Meredy would use such a little girl for her dirty work...I mean, if she wanted to play, she could have played it fair and square.Why go to such lengths?

I got down the bus and quickly dashed to his house.

I know this is not the right situation to say this, but I kinda feel like a hero who's going to save his princess at the current moment.

I was just a step away from the doorbell, however, as soon as I was about to ring it, I felt my body bowing to gravity.

My head began to feel heavy, my eyes went round like a record and my body turned numb. Like someone had smacked my head with a metal rod.

But as stubborn as I could get, I tried to reach the doorbell or at-least knock on the door a few times, but I was unsuccessful.

Someone grabbed my legs and dragged me down the stairs.

Slowly, I felt myself losing consciousness...The door to Jellal's house was now so near yet so far from me.

"Je-Jellal..." I tried calling him but I myself couldn't hear my own voice.

Then I felt my body being lifted. My gaze was now on the floor and everything became so blurry that it was hard to perceive what was really going on.

My body was then thrown on something hard and once more my head gained a hit. I tried to look around me but by the little vision I had, I could only see an unfocused person in front of me. He was wearing a mask and a cap.

Though, I think I am in some kind of a vehicle...

No sooner did the man close the doors, leaving me in utter darkness.And like I said, I was in a vehicle.It moved but I couldn't.

"Jellal..." Was what I said before falling into a deep sleep.
