Day 28- Faint

"I'm a guy. I don't feel cold." I imitated Jellal and looked at him poker-faced, "Now look who's shivering from cold."

He threw a serious glance at me and began to rub his palms vigourously.

But, as the kind hearted person I am, I'm obviously sharing his jacket with him. I can't just leave the love of my life to die in the cold while I'm pretty warm in here.

"Why didn't your fiancé come yet?" I asked.

"Will you wait, have patience."

"It's already been a day and a half! How long do you want me to wait? Besides, I don't think she's coming, she doesn't love you anymore, I guess."

"Of course she wouldn't love me because of you."

"Hey, what have I done?"

"You photo bombed in the picture of me and Meredy."

"Excuse me, in my defence I have to say that it was truly unintentional. I love you so not my fault."

"Wow," he scoffed, "Nowadays you're being bold."

"It's because I'm done hiding my feelings from you. I need you to know what I feel every moment of the day. That's only fair."

He looked at me and before I realised it, we were just inches apart from each other. Yet again, I couldn't perceive what he was thinking. Why is always like this?

"I know how you much you love me." He said.

"Then...why won't you accept my confession? Why won't you say anything?"

He looked elsewhere and stayed silent.

"Answer me, Fernandes."

"Scarlet, just because we are stuck here, it doesn't mean I need to be open with you."

"Of course you need to be open with me!" I yelled, "I'm fed up not knowing what you feel towards me! Is it love? Is it hatred? What is it that you feel for me?"

"I feel nothing towards you."

"You're lying."

"I'm not."

"Stop lying."

"I said I'm not."

"Then why does your eyes tell me that you are?"

He looked at me and sighed, "Can we stop talking about this right now?"

"What better do we have to do anyway? We are trapped here so why don't we talk something serious?" I rolled my eyes.

"You won't let go of this topic anytime soon, will you?"

"You bet."

"Not that I care. I am in no mood to argue with you."

"Jellal, you can keep your mouth shut as long as you want but I will make sure that before my deadline ends, I'm gonna hear the words, "I love you" from you."

He chuckled and looked at me, "Lets see about that."

"So you're confident that you won't fall for me?"

"Pretty much."

"Hm..." So he says...what if he really won't fall for me? What if in the end, we end up being strangers?

I don't want that to happen! I can't let that happen!

"I love you, though. So please, think about it." I muttered and I'm sure he heard me.

Just then we heard the door click open and at once, me and Jellal shot a glance at each other.

"It's her." He said.

We heard voices from outside but I couldn't clearly make it if it was of a girl's or boy. And then-- please play a suspenseful music-- the door opened.

"It's her..." I repeated.

"Oh Jellal darling!" Meredy came running towards us and hugged Jellal tightly.

Seriously? She dare hug my crush in front of me? That's more evil than breaking us apart!

"Oh gosh...you are freezing and also burning up! Let's get you out of here before you faint!" She grabbed his wrist and decided to drag him away from me, however, Jellal quickly grabbed my wrist and forcefully ceased walking, "She's coming with me." He said.

Meredy's face turned serious. She looked at me-- more like "glared" at me-- but then faced Jellal with a calm face, "Okay."

Wow, she's a bloody two face.

I scoffed, "I better get an apology once we get out of here."

She didn't say anything and dragged Jellal out of the room while I got dragged by Jellal. It was romantic, though (Even though there was a third party between us...Eugh, I hate her)

As soon as we got out of the damn cold storage, Jellal fainted.

"Jellal!" Me and and Meredy yelled in Unison and caught him together.

"Quick! Let's get him to the hospital!" I shouted and she nodded.

"LAXUS! GET YOUR CAR!" She screamed.

I touched his forehead and he was really burning up..."Jellal..." I tried to wake him or at least thought he would open his eyes but...He didn't.

Promptly, this guy named Laxus came running, picked Jellal up and threw him in the car.

I sat behind with Jellal and Meredy sat in the front. His head was on my lap and his temperature was getting worse by the minute.

"QUICK! LET'S GO LAXUS!" Meredy shouted and hastily he accelerated.

It's all her fault.If not for her, this wouldn't have happened.

Just you wait Meredy, once Jellal is in the doctors care, I'm gonna show you what happens when you try to do something out of your league.
