Chapter 5

"Make me feel" I begged her.

She looked at me and her eyes were three shades darker, they were no longer sweet or caring as I had come to know them, there was a flame in them, something I had never seen before. She took my hand and slowly walked me to the bed, sat me down and sat on my lap, her legs around my hips.

Jade took my lips in hers and kissed me with ardent passion, I felt her teeth bite into my lower lip, a rush of adrenaline coursed through me and the dull throbbing between my thighs returned.

I groaned as her tongue invaded my mouth and began to explore every nook and cranny of it, she slowly began to move over me in a sensual gentle rhythm, I felt my legs turn to jelly as the ache between my thighs became more and more insistent, our tongues met and danced for what seemed like hours, we parted for lack of air but soon after joined again.

I saw adoration and something else in her eyes, something new I couldn't decipher but it made me feel desired.

We went on for hours and made love all night until dawn came, the light fell on our tired and sweaty bodies but it wasn't enough to stop us, we continued even when we heard the city wake up and come back to life, but for us time had stopped and the only thing we wanted to live were the moments we had left together.

We kept rolling around in that bed for hours discovering every detail of us, I felt I could know her soul and let her read mine.

Pleasure and pain mingled for hours and I wished I had more time but I knew time was running out and I tried to stay with her enjoying every second before being forced to went back to reality. Though that room was gray and cramped, there was far more color there with her, than I could ever see living a life without her.

Without Jade, life would have been just a black and white picture and I knew saying goodbye would mean losing all the light this life had to offer but I also knew that wasn't our time and as much as it would hurt leave her, one day I would have smiled at the memory of her and thanked for that twist of fate that made me meet her.

I would never see her again, I would never know anything about her or her life, I wouldn't know if she would have find a man who would love and deserve her and maybe one day she would get married. I wouldn't have seen her grow old and her hair turn gray or her face wrinkle, I wouldn't have seen Jasmine grow up and fall in love, give her a grandchild, I wouldn't have seen her chasing after her grandchildren in the garden at her house in the countryside where she would live surrounded by beloved ones who would love her as she deserved, I would not hold her hand as her last breath called out.

I would not have experienced any of that, I would always remember her as the beautiful young girl with olive skin and soft curly hair full of dreams for a better future.

Because the truth was, we were nothing but a mistake in a world where we didn't belong.

I let the tears flow as I kissed her one last time. We both comforted ourselves in that kiss and promised that we would never forget each other.

I knew Jade would always be with me, no matter where I went or who I met, and she knew I would never forget her.

"Goodbye, Perrie" she whispered against my lips.

"Goodbye, Jade"

I opened the door and for the last time I left her house, crossed the streets of the destroyed neighborhood, past the alley where I met her, past the brothel and continuing towards my house where my future awaited me.

"I will always love you" I whispered to myself as I let the tears roll down my face.
