Chapter 20- do i know you?

HONEY

" OH SHIT NOW SHE SAW ME " the first one yelled.

Is he talking about me?

Where have I seen him before.

" Uhh, do I know you? " I asked.

" No! " All three of them answered at the same time.

Not suspicious at all

I remember now.

" YOU WERE AT THE SCHOOL " I practically yelled.

" Shit " all three of them responded.

" What are you guys doing here. Oh. my. Gosh. You work for nightmare " I said.

" No we don't " all three said.

" Ok, I'll try to believe that " I replied.

Ok, so Those three guys are working for nightmare, I've almost (not really) memorized the faces of his henchmen, I could get more info but I can't risk it. I've gotta get out of here.

" Ok, you're here, she's here now what do we do? " Necktie asked.

" Well, since boss isn't coming, we're in charge " The familiar guy said.

" So what do we do, Jay " familiar guy's friend said.

So familiar guy's name is Jay.Finally some names.According to what he said back at the school, he's had a run-in with the cops. So he has a criminal record, interesting

" Well, boss told us to move the victim while you guys check on the 'stuff' " Jay said.

What stuff?

" We gotta move quick, before our rivals get there " Driver said.

" Ugh I hate those guys " Rain boots added.

Rivals?Ok, I've gotten new info, apparently they have rivals.Who could nightmare's rivals be?

" Let's move " necktie said.And just as those words were said, there it was.

💥BANG💥

That noise was deafening.I have no idea what happened next all I know is that I was on the ground with my hands covering my ears and I was bleeding.

Bleeding?

I tried to look around but my body was hurt pretty bad.What I know is that the building was no longer a building.I'm not one to come up with crazy assumptions but I'm pretty sure a bomb just exploded.There were broken pieces of glass and the whole building was destroyed.

I saw Jay's friends on the floor bleeding too.Guess I wasn't the only casualty

I tried to get up. Then realized the blood was coming from my leg

Of all the places it just had to be my leg, how am I supposed to run now.

I could still walk though.I saw the other four guys holding guns and pointing at a group of men who were pointing back.

I'm in real trouble

Everyone's here except... Jay.

I 'ran' out of the scene so as not to get killed.

I made it 'outside' ( at this point outside is practically the same as inside ).

I saw Jay tryna make a getaway in his car. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

" JAY! " I yelled hoping to get his attention as I dragged my feet through smashed concrete.

" Ugh " he sighed then got out of his car rushed to my side and carried me into his car.

Guess he's not that bad after all

He got in and started the car and we drove off.

THE.

WRONG.

WAY.

Dude literally just drove the car to the crash site. Then Jay's friends hopped into the car.

" No man left behind " Jay said as he fist bumped his friends.

" What about the other guys? " I asked.

" They're on their own " Jay replied.

Then we drove off. I have no idea where we were going.Jay brought out his first aid kit which he supposedly always keep in his car. We cleaned up our wounds in the awkward silence.

" Well, now that we've escaped certain doom, I've got a lot of questions " I said breaking the silence.

" Ok, well, the dude driving is My boy Jayden Smith. This dude beside me is my guy Kevin Hart, and I'm Michael Jackson. That's all you need to know " One of Jay's friends informed.

Like I'm believing that." You know I know that's not true right " I said.

" Yeah, but it kinda is, He's Jayden, he's Kevin and I'm Mike " Mike replied.

" Ok, thank you " I said.

" You're welcome " Mike replied bringing back the awkward silence.

Jayden decided to turn the radio and we listened to one of Imagine Dino's songs ' Enemy '

Oh, the misery Everybody wants to be my enemyOh, spare the sympathyEverybody wants to be my enemy-y-y-y-y

I love that song.

Since I was sitting in the passenger seat I turned down the volume." Are you working for nightmare? " I asked.

" No, we have no idea who nightmare is " Mike replied.

" Ok, so where are you taking me? "

" To our boss " Mike replied.

" Do you have to though "

" Yeah, it's our job " Mike replied.

Well, I guess death is just my fate." Am I gonna die? "

" Uhh, I don't know " Mike said.

I'll never loose hope. I've got to get out of here.

Soon after we pulled up into an even shadier looking building.We all went inside, except Kevin he said he'll stay behind to watch the car.

We went inside, this place looked like an actual apartment.I sat on one of the chairs trying to think of a way to get out of here.

" Uh, we're gonna go now " Jay said.

" What, you're going leave me here? " I asked.

" Yeah, that's our Job, we make deliveries, and you've just been delivered " Mike replied.

Easy, immediately they leave, I'll get out of here.

" Don't have stupid ideas, we're locking the door " Mike said like he knew what I was thinking.

" Whatever "I simply replied.

They left and locked the doors.Now's my time to move.I ran through the house looking for any window I could find. I was being extremely quiet so no one would hear me.I found a window in the bathroom.

It's always the bathroom

I waited for a little while to make sure Jayden and his friends were gone.

Time to strike.

Just when I was about to climb out I heard a click on the door. I ran back to the living room and sat down. Maybe Jay forgot something.

The door opened And four Men wearing black came in. Then came in their what I assume to be Boss.He was wearing a white suit.

Typical bad guys

This must be the boss they were talking about.

" Hello you must be Honey "
