Chapter 21- lies

BLUEY

We were still in my room thinking what we were going to do about finding Honey.

" Guys, I know you don't want to hear this but... The cops have to be involved " Lucky said waiting for our reaction.

" No way " Indy said then stood up from my bed. " If we call the cops he's gonna kill her "

" Don't say that " I said trying to calm her down.

" But it's true " at this point she was already crying.

" Look, I never said 'we' should call the cops " Lucky said " we just have to get someone else to call them "

" How? " I asked.

" Well, anytime now, Honey's parents are gonna ask where she is, we're gonna tell her that we don't know so they're gonna call the cops " Lucky said again waiting for our reaction.

That could actually work but it was a huge risk. If the cops get involved nightmare could do something bad to her even if we weren't the ones who called them.But it's a risk we'll have to take.

" That might work " I replied. " Let's do it " I said. " Nightmare didn't really give us any other options, how were we supposed to even find Honey, she could be anywhere by now. The cops are the only ones who can find her " I said

" Uhh I'm only agreeing because we don't have any other options " Indy replied.

Now we wait.I just Laid on my bed and thoughts immediately began to swarm in my head.

What if we don't find Honey, what if she's in danger, what is she facing right now.

Worst part is Nightmare hasn't even called or texted.I hate that guy soo much.If anything happens to Honey I wouldn't forgive myself.

I looked over at Indy. She's calmer now. She was on her phone probably checking her messages.

Lucky on the other hand was just standing, leaning against the wall thinking.

I wish this whole nightmare thing was over.

NARRATOR'S POV

Chili and Bandit were seated on the couch watching a movie.

Chili picked up the remote and switched off the TV " Bandit we need to talk " she said now facing her husband.

" Sure, about what? " Bandit replied shifting his position on the couch so he could face Chili.

" About Bluey " Chili said. Her expression changed into one of a concerned mother.

" Yeah, what about her? " Bandit asked as he tried to reach for the remote so he could turn the TV back on.

" Bandit! " Chili responded hitting his arm lightly.

Bandit chuckled " ok, ok, serious now " he changed his facial expression to a semi serious one still trying to reach for the remote making Chili giggle

" Be serious for once " Chili demanded

" I am being serious, did you not see my serious face " Bandit replied.

The two laughed together but were later interrupted by the sound of their doorbell ringing.

" Who's could that be? " Chili asked Bandit who could only Shrug his shoulders.

Chili went to check who was at the door.

" Hi Daisy " Chili greeted. "Bandit it's Daisy " She yelled. " Come in "

Honey's morher walked into the house.

" Oh hey Daisy, what brings you here? " Bandit asked.

" Oh, nothing much I'm just here to pick up Honey, that sleepover must've been really hard to keep under control, I mean three additional kids, what a handful " Daisy said.

" Uhh what sleepover? " Bandit asked with a confused look on his face.

" Daisy... Honey's not here " Chili said straightforward.

" What are you guys talking about? " Daisy asked. " Bluey told me that she was having a sleepover with Honey, Lucky and Indy, so now I've come to pick up Honey "

" Daisy are you alright " Chili asked sounding concerned.

" Excuse me " Daisy said in a harsh tone. " What's that supposed to mean I'm Crazy " she ranted.

" We're not saying that but if you'd ask me I kinda think you are " Bandit replied

" What! " Daisy exclaimed.

" I mean we've been in this house all day all night and we have no memory of Honey coming in or a 'sleepover' " Bandit said while Chili just sat there thinking

" Look Heelers, you guys are nice and all BUT ALL I WANT IS MY CHILD " Daisy yelled

" AND I'M TELLING YOU WE DON'T HAVE HER " Bandit yelled back

" Ok, ok calm down " Chili said. " BLUEY GET DOWN HERE " She called for Bluey.

All the while Bluey and her friends were listening in on the conversation. When she heard her name she rushed down followed by Lucky and Indy.

" You see that, Bluey, Lucky, Indy and what's that, no Honey " Bandit said pointing at the children.

" Bluey you called and told me you were having a sleepover so what happened " Daisy questioned.

Bluey thought of a lie any lie could help at this moment.

" I wanted to but Honey didn't show up so I thought you didn't let her come, It was weird cuz you already agreed so it kept me wondering why you didn't let her come " Bluey said hoping everyone would believe it.

" Wait so you did have a sleepover? " Bandit asked.

" No!...uh...Honey didn't show up and I knew Lucky wouldn't cuz he was busy and Indy said she'll be running late so I called her and told her not to bother coming since no one else's coming " Bluey replied.

" See there you have it " Bandit said now looking back at Daisy.

" So what you're telling me is that NO ONE KNOWS WHERE MY DAUGHTER IS " Daisy yelled.

" We didn't see her since we left the Hospital " Lucky said.

" Yeah after seeing Jean luc we all went home " Indy added.

Daisy was fuming, she was angry yet sad concerned yet annoyed; She was a rollercoaster of emotions. She didn't know how to feel about the current situation. She was frozen not moving a muscle. Chili looked concerned and told her to sit down. Daisy Broke down in tears, crying. Not only was her daughter missing, she has been missing for more than 24 hours. Bandit rushed to call the cops to report a missing child while Chili tried to console her dear friend.

Bluey, Indy and Lucky who knew the whereabouts of Honey still had to act sad even though they were.

" The cops said we should report to the station " Bandit said walking back into the living room " They also need you kids to give a detailed explanation of what happened "

Bluey and her friends looked at each other smiling. The police would be informed but they wouldn't have to tell them about nightmare.Their plan worked.....Or so they thought

Took a long time to write (jk I wrote this chapter in one day )Finally the story is moving forward.I know y'all need to see more romance. Don't worry you'll get it.I really don't want to bring Jean luc back but I have to.Well hope you enjoyVote and comment<3
