HAILEY WOKE UP and started rising off of Walkers shoulder slowly, mouth falling open a little as she stared at where her head previously was. She looked over at her brother and Laci since they were both asleep, then hoping they fell asleep just in time so they didn't get a picture.
She checked her Instagram, then seeing her brothers account that had a new post.
"Ah, shit." she moaned, then opening it and seeing his post. She screenshotted it, then posting her own story.
"What happened?" Walker asked while he stared down at Hailey's phone.
"Dakota posted this bullshit." Hailey said, then showing Walker the picture.
"Oh, my gosh, bro." Walker groaned, throwing his head back.
"It's okay, I fixed it." Hailey reassured, then showing Walker her story.
"Good." Walker nodded, then leaning back on his headseat.
"How long until we're there?" Hailey asked, looking over to Walker.
"Probably, like, a few more hours." Walker guessed, his eyes sliding over to the side so he could see Hailey's face.
"Let me check since you're lazy." Hailey shook her head, then going to the screen infront of her seat and looked to it, the screen saying they had 3 more hours left.
"How long, Hails?" Walker asked, not picking his head up.
"3 hours and like 40 minutes." Hailey replied, closing out of the screen and finding a movie to watch.
"Lucky you, my screens broken." Walker spoke, finally picking up his head slowly and leaning over to Hailey.
"You can watch my screen. Have you ever watched Into the Spiderverse before?" Hailey said.
"No." Walker said simply.
"Blocked." Hailey groaned, putting her head into her hands dramatically.
"You can't block me, we're sitting next to each other." Walker chuckled, taking her hands off of her face.
"Whatever, dude." Hailey frowned, taking her hands away from Walker.
"We should do, like, a truth thing." Walker came up with a game.
"What?" Hailey accidentally made a dirty look, her lip curling up rudely and one side and her eyes squinting.
"Just asking questions and answering truthfully." Walker shrugged.
"Mhm." Hailey nodded slowly, still processing as she stared at Walkers hopeful face.
"That's a yes?" Walker titled his head and then pursed his lips.
"Sure." Hailey shrugged, giving in.
"Okay, first one. Uh, who are you most excited to meet on the cast?" Walker questioned, leaning closer to Hailey, excited to hear her answer.
"Oh, 100% Finn Wolfhard. He a cutie." Hailey replied quickly, smiling at the thought.
"I think I'm most excited to meet Adam Sandler." Walker nodded, probably convincing himself it was a good answer.
"Ooh, and Sunny Sandler!" Hailey widened her eyes and smiled, looking over to Walker.
"She seems basic." Walker tilted her head.
"I'm gonna beat your ass," Hailey hit his arm. "Don't say that."
"You don't even know the girl." Walker shrugged, holding his arm where Hailey hit him.
"Neither do you, so don't be calling her basic." Hailey said harshly but still had a slight smirk on her face as she spoke.
"Okay, okay." Walker smiled, then grabbing the bag he put under his seat.
"Do you have an extra blanket, I'm freezing." Hailey asked, hugging herself with her light blanket over her.
"Bro, your blanket is so tiny." Walker chuckled.
"No shit, bitch." Hailey gave him a dirty look before her lips threatened to curl up on her face.
"I like that." Walker grinned. "No shit, bitch!"
"Yeah, no shit, bitch." Hailey nodded along, smiling. Walker held out his hand, Hailey grabbing it and dapping him up.
"Wait, scoot over." Walker said, looking at Hailey who was slumped down in her chair.
"Which way?" Hailey asked, furrowing her eyebrows as she looks at the boy next to her.
"Move closer to the window, please." Walker nodded, smiling at her. It seemed like he never frowned around her.
Hailey nodded along, scooting closer to the window, leaving a space in her seat that was big enough to fit an adult since the seat was big enough. Walker lifted the arm rests and scooted into Hailey's seat, then putting the rests down again.
"We could've just left the arm rest up and shared both the seats." Hailey said confused.
"Yeah, but then we wouldn't be able to share my blanket." Walker shook his head, taking out a soft blanket.
"Yeah, we could've." Hailey put her small blanket to the side of her so her waist wasn't being pressed into the side.
"Whatever, shush up and cover up." Walker said and put the blanket on them.
"Shush up?" Hailey repeated, holding the blanket close.
"Yeah, shush up." Walker said, nodding slowly and then pulling his phone out.
"Whatever." Hailey grinned, then her and Walker just did their own thing and got warmer under the blanket Walker brought.
โ
HAILEY AND WALKER got off the plane with everyone else, looking around the airport as Ms. Scobell tries to figure out the time their uber is gonna come.
"Who's sharing hotel rooms?" Tanner asked, standing next to Hailey.
"Uhm, I think me, your dad, and you are sharing and then Leena, Hailey, Walker, Dakota, and Laci are all sharing since they have like 3 beds." Mrs. Scobell explained.
"Only 3 beds?" Leena narrowed her eyes. "You guys can share beds, I'm getting my own."
"Trust me, no one wants to share with you. You kick in your sleep." Walker shook his head, walking up to stand next to Hailey.
"Uh, then who's sharing?" Dakota asked, looking around.
"Oh, the uber is here. They have 3 rows so we'll have enough room, I think. We have so much people." Mr. Scobell said, putting his arm around his wife.
Everyone found their way outside of the airport, seeing a car that is possibly big enough to fit everyone.
"Do you mind if he sits in the front, we have a lot of people." Ms. Scobell asked as she pointed to her husband.
"Uh, I guess." the lady that doesn't look older than 21 replied.
"Thank you." Ms. Scobell smiled, then heading to the back and letting her husband get in the front. That left her, Tanner, and Leena in the middle and the back with Hailey, Walker, Laci, and Dakota. They were super crowded, but they thrived.
They arrived at the hotel, then they all entered and Mr. Scobell and Ms. Scobell got the room keys, leading them and Tanner into the room since he wasn't old enough.
"Okay, we need to get this situated. I'm sleeping alone, but are you guys sharing?" Leena asked, rolling her suitcase into the elevator.
"We're going up the stairs, love you guys, bye." Mr. Scobell said and walked away with his wife and Tanner.
"Love you, too." Walker and Leena said in unison to the other half of their family.
"Maybe we can take turns getting to sleep alone? I mean, we're not here for a short amount of time, we can all have a good sleep in the bed alone." Laci suggested as Dakota clicked the floor they were on.
"Me first, of course." Leena said, smiling softly.
"We know, Leen." Hailey said and threw her head back with a smile.
"Just needed to make it clear." Leena threw her arms up in defense.
"Me and Laci can share the bed and Dakota and Walker can share." Hailey added, hoping people agreed.
"Good enough." Leena nodded.
"Sure." Dakota agreed.
"Yessir." Laci said.
"Unless there's a pull out couch, I'll be sleeping on that." Walker added.
"Alright, then we got it all arranged." Leena grinned as the elevator came to a stop that their floor.
"Yup." Dakota nodded, walking off the elevator first. Everyone else followed and followed the floor to their room.
