Chapter 11:𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑏𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑘 𝑢𝑝

(Y'all I am so confused right now lol, I have nothing planned so I am just gonna go with the flow lol, I am running out of ideas but I promise and swear that I will complete this story somehow lol.________________________________

Over the weekend, Mikasa kept regretting getting so close to her friends, she stopped blocked all of them to get her mind cleared. She was still sad about Marco's death, he was so nice, caring, she truly thought of him as a brother, even though they hadn't spent much time together, their bond was real.

"𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒑𝒊𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒅 𝒉𝒊𝒎."-𝑀𝑖𝑘𝑎𝑠𝑎 𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑠ℎ𝑒𝑑 ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑚𝑜𝑚'𝑠 𝑠𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑠𝑚𝑖𝑙𝑒𝑑 𝑘𝑛𝑜𝑤𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑔𝑟𝑎𝑛𝑑𝑓𝑎𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑤𝑎𝑠 𝑠𝑎𝑓𝑒 𝑖𝑛 𝐻𝑒𝑎𝑣𝑒𝑛.

Mikasa, who was laying on her bed facing the ceiling, sat up and walked out of her room then outside while sitting on her front porch, put her hands up facing the bright and clear light bue sky that had a flock of birds flying around.

"𝐌𝐨𝐦, 𝐝𝐚𝐝, 𝐗𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐫, 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐞, 𝐒𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐢 𝐚𝐧𝐝.. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐨.... 𝐈 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐦𝐞.."-Mikasa said in a soft voice

She pur her hands down and kept looking up at the sky but noticed someone's shadow from the corner of her eyes, she looked back down and saw Daniel.

She waved and he waved back, they stared at eachother in complete silence before Daniel spoke up.

"𝐈 𝐮𝐡 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐡𝐦 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐬"-He said with a sympathetic look, his eyes glowing and the wind blowing through his hair made him seem all the more charming.

"𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫.."-Mikasa said and averted her attention somewhere else to avoid any awkward situation, she didn't even realise there was a figure sitting next to her, she turned her head locking eyes with him, she stares deeply into his cerulean coloured eyes, it seemed as if she was staring into a calm ocean, she snapped out of it, something about Daniel was so interesting.

Daniel smiled and rubbed her back thinking she is probably going through a tough time after losing a close friend.

"𝐄𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐈 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐦 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐲 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞"- He let out a chuckle at the end

"𝐖𝐞 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐤𝐞 𝐮𝐩"-Mikasa plainly said

Daniel's eyes widened and his mouth slightly agape

"𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐠-𝐠𝐮𝐲𝐬 𝐰𝐞'𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠?"-He asked still a bit shocked

Mikasa nodded

Daniel calmed down and hugged Mikasa, she was tensed at first then accepted his embrace

"𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲"-He said before standing up to take his leave

Mikasa nodded and watched him walk off the porch unto the driveway before finally he was out of her sight

She sighed and went back inside

Meanwhile, Daniel was concerned and felt bad for Mikasa but couldn't help but feel jubilant knowing he had a chance with Mikasa.

'𝒐𝒉 𝑬𝒓𝒆𝒏, 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒎𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝒖𝒑 𝒃𝒊𝒈 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆'-He thought to himself while smirking

𝗠𝗶𝗸𝗮𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗢𝗩

It was Monday morning, currently 6:57 am, I woke up to the bright light that was visible through my window blinds.

I groaned before rolling out of bed and falling to the floor making a loud thud.

I groaned once again due to the pain I felt on my left shoulder before getting up and lazily walking towards my bathroom, once I made it I packed my hair in a ponytail before applying toothpaste on my grey electric toothbrush. I pressed the 'on' button and the brush started vibrating.

I quickly put the brush in my mouth and started brushing my teeth, 3 minutes later and I was finally done so I spat out the toothpaste before washing my mouth clean of any toothpaste left.

I washed mt face and cleaned my face with my small towel, I walked to my closet picking out a simple outfit, an oversized white tee, some grey sweatpants and black nike's.

I laid down my clothing on my bed before walking to the bathroom, getting undressed and stepped into my shower, I could see all my old dried up cuts on my forearm from long ago, I cringed at the cuts, regretting what I had did, I stopped looking at them and continued showering.

A moment later and I walked out of the shower and dried up and put on my outfit. I tied my hair into a messy bun because I was too lazy to style it, I grabbed my bookbag and phone and just as I was heading out, my eyes caught something crimson, it was the scarf Eren got me for my birthday, I thought if I should wear it or not, I looked out my window and it was quite sunny so I shrugged it off and left my room.

I walked down the stairs noticing Levi was nowhere to be found so he was probably at work. I continued down the steps and entered the kitchen and made myself a quick sandwich, I later finished my sandwich and washed my hands before jumping on the couch. I picked up the remote and started switching channels until one got my attentiom, it was the news, still focusing on the shooting at the Paradis Island Amusement park. I quickly changed the channel and checked what time it was, it was 7:21 am and I was bored sitting at home with nothing to do so I got up and made my way to the bus stop.

With Levi at work so early I had to take the bus which I hated since it was always full of annoying brats and bullies.

I was waiting at the bus stop and saw Connie coming towards me, I tried ignoring him until he spoke up.

"𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩?"- He asked with a sad look on his face

I looked at him and shrugged before stepping unto the bus that had just pulled up.

I walked and noticed a few guys staring at me while drooling, I ignored them and continued walking until I saw Daniel and he gestured to me to sit with him, I walked over to him and sat beside him.

We talked only little on the bus ride since I wasn't really in the best mood today.

We arrived at the front of the school and the bus doors opened and wel all stood up making our way out of the bus.

I hopped out with Daniel by my side and Connie just a few meters infront of us.

We walked in silence and I seperated from him and went to the library;the place I go to whenever I am early to schoolI walked in and it was very quiet which I liked, I walked over to my usual place and sat down and looked around to choose a book to read in my remaining free time.

I came across one book, the title was: 'Smile for me.. please'

I was interested in it so I picked it up and opened it and on the first page it said: To you, 2000 years from now.

That was the only sentence on that first page, I was confused but still intrigued, I was about to flip to the next page until I heard some people talking, I recognised their voices immediately, it was Sasha, Connie, Annie, Reiner and... Eren.

I panicked, I didn't want them to see me whatsoever, I had my face completely in the book, pretending to be reading even though I was silently praying they wouldn't see me.

I noticed some emerald eyes staring right at me from a table not too far away, I knew it was Eren so I didn't even bother to check.

I spent another few minutes pretending to be reading until the bell rang, I quickly got up and made my way to homeroom. I made a bit of noise with the chair scratching the floor, I cringed at the sound and noticed people staring at my direction.

I walked into homeroom and sat at my assigned seat. I saw Ms.Hange with a sad look on her face and I knew why.

She sat down and sighed and took a sip from her coffee. Moments later, the rest of 11b2 walked in, sitting at their seats. Once we were complete, Ms.Hange got up and started speaking.

"𝐈'𝐦 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐟𝐞𝐰 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐚𝐠𝐨, 𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐨 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐭 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 11𝐂1, 𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐨 𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐝."-Ms.Hange finished and the bell rang, I had Science with Ms.Hange so I waited for the other half of the class 11b1 to walk in, they soon arrived and the class had begun.

I didn't pay attention at all, I kept staring off to the window thinking '𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑖𝑓𝑠' I shook the thought out of my head because there is no reversing time or bullcrap like that, what happened had happened, no one can change that.

I turned my head around and noticed that Eren wasn't sitting next to me, he was sitting next to the window on the other side of the class, I was about to wave at him but I decided not to, remebering what I said at him that day.

'𝑑𝑜𝑛'𝑡 𝑚𝑎𝑘𝑒 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑚𝑖𝑠𝑒𝑠 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑐𝑎𝑛'𝑡 𝑘𝑒𝑒𝑝'

"𝐃𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭"- I whispered to myself

Soon class was over and I headed to my P.E class, it was boring as always, after that, It was lunch and I got my tray and food and was walking to an empty table, I didn't even realise that Eren didn't pull me to his table, I sat, alone and ate my food, I could feel eyes staring at me but I didn't even bother to do anything about it. I finished my food and walked out of the cafeteria.

~𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑒𝑠𝑘𝑖𝑝~

I had finished Dubai World School Games training with the rest of my team, I was in the girl's changing room, I could see Sasha, Historia, Ymir, Annie talking, they were completely ignoring me. I finished changing, grabbed my stuff and left the room, Levi was going to be late again so I went up to the roof and sat down on the bench and put in my airpods listening to breezeblocks. I noticed a shadow behind me, I turned my head and saw Eren standing behind me staring at me, he rolled his eyes and walked away, I had enough.

"𝐘𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐥𝐲 𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐚 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧'𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮?"-I asked him obviously annoyed

He chuckled and turned to my direction

"𝐒𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐞𝐲𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐞"-He shot back

He got me there.

He looked at me, clearly annoyed.

He walked up to me, he was now so close to me, I could feel his breath.

I didn't say anything but I was still angry

He scoffed and continued on

His eyes widened before going back to normal, he walked away before I could even say anything again.

I heard a car pull up and I knew it was Levi's, I finished grabbing my stuff before walking down the steps towards the entrance.

I walked towards the car and sat down in the passenger's seat.Levi tried making small talk but I didn't even bother.We got home and I ran upstairs and jumped on my bed, I had homework to do but I didn't even bother, I then fell into a deep sleep.
