Krogan's Prisoner

Hiccup's POV

"There! That's where the hunters grabbed Krystal and Shadow." Hiccup quickly lands Toothless and runs into the clearing where the hunters had set up camp. It was empty.

"No no no. They were here, they were right here." Hiccup says, looking back at the gang. Tuffnut picks up an empty bucket, tossing it to the side.

"Well, obviously they were, but they left now." Tuffnut says. Hiccup feels as if he's about to panic. Astrid notices this and places a hand on his shoulder.

"Don't worry, Hiccup. We'll find her." Hiccup nods, then spots something in the grass. Kneeling down, Hiccup finds an arrow, snapped in half. He recognizes the feather on the end of the shaft.

"This was Krystal's." Hiccup says, turning to Astrid. "Do you think Stormfly could track it?" Astrid smiles.

"It could work."

Krystal's POV

Krystal woke up slowly to the sensation of being dragged across the ground. She keeps her eyes shut as her head starts to ache.

"Put her with the dragon. Krogan wants to inspect her and the dragon later." Krystal hears growling before she is thrown forward. Krystal groans upon impact, her head aching even more. Something else drags her close and purring erupts. Krystal opens her eyes, meeting two amber orbs.

"Shadow." Krystal smiles, hugging the dragon. The Scaleshifter turns a bright pink, purring loudly. Krystal lets go and finds Shadow's legs chained to the opposite wall. The dragon's wings were bound, as well as Krystal's own hands. A muzzle had been placed over Shadow's snout, but the dragon seemed happier now that Krystal was with him.

"Don't worry, Shadow. Hiccup will find us." Krystal says, sitting down in the curve of Shadow's stomach. This was usually her position when Krystal and Shadow slept together. Krystal closes her eyes as her mind allows the drowsiness to take over.

"I know he will."
