Krogan

Krystal's POV

The sound of clicking fills Krystal's ears and she sits up quickly. Shadow growls at the hunter that opens the cage door, pulling Krystal closer.

"Come on. Krogan wants to talk with you." The hunter says to Krystal, casting unsure glances at Shadow. Krystal places a hand on Shadow, making the dragon stop. She stands and follows the hunter out, who seemed glad to finally shut the cage door again. Krystal allows herself to be led to a large tent, decorated with various dragon hides and scales. The man inside smiles slightly as Krystal walks into the tent. The girl notices the scar that stretches across one of his eyes.

"I finally get to meet the newest dragon rider." He says aloud. The man motions to a chair. "Please, take a seat." Krystal remains where she stood, glaring at the man. The man shrugs, shaking his head.

"You dragon riders are always so stubborn. Especially that Haddock child. He's always been so annoying." Krystal felt anger rising in her chest, but she kept her mouth shut. The man smiles, knowing he hit a nerve.

"My name is Krogan." He says.

"Like I care." Krystal growls. Krogan smiles.

"Feisty. I've always appreciated that. Helps one during stressful situations." Krogan says.

"What do you want with me?" Krystal demands. "If you're going to use me as a bargaining chip, forget it. You're wasting your time."

"It's not what I want with you. It's what I want from you. More specifically, from Hiccup." Krystal stares at the man. Where was he going with this?

"You see, Hiccup has something in his possession that I very much would like to have." Krogan says. "And I need you to get it. So, to answer your question, yes. I need you as a bargaining chip."

"He won't give it up for me." Krystal says, more to herself. She knew that Hiccup had the Dragon Eye, but she also knew he wasn't stupid enough to trade it for her. She would have to escape.

Krogan notices her pause and smiles.

"Oh, I'm sure he will."
