JUNGKOOK POV

I've had a hard time dealing with what's happened between y/n and I. I wish things could be different, I wish that she could look at me the way she did in the beginning when this was all fresh. 

I know she wants to move on and live her life and honesty I should give her that but I can't.... and I won't....

She moved away a couple weeks ago, it didn't take long to track her down. She's in Santa Maria in a nice little secure loft. I have some of my men watching her just in case anything happens and she needs protection and so I know exactly where to find her.

I haven't contacted her, even though I've thought about it many times. I have my nights where I want and need her but I stand by my word on telling her I'll give her time, and I'm trying to do just that.

I figured I'd let her settle in, get a feel for life alone without anyone else around her that she really knows.

I hope she doesn't meet a guy, and falls in love with him. I know I'll have to go back to my old ways and take him out. I'll do anything I can to have her with me but I don't want to break her heart again.

I want our life to be as normal as it can with me being the Mob boss and her growing up with a gang member step father.

I've been working my ass off as usual, drinking a little too much, doing coke from time to time to make me feel better, sometimes I just need a pick me up.

Y/N POV

I made it to California a few weeks ago. The first week Bianca and I got the apartment together shopped for stuff and made it so comfy.

She had to head back home soon because she had her " clients " to tend to. I begged her to stay but I knew she needed to do what she needed to do. She gave me the money to get here and all of this stuff by doing her job, I appreciate her so much for everything she has done for me.

COUPLE DAYS FORWARD

Bianca left yesterday so today I plan to get up and go look for some kinda job and possibly start applying for colleges in this area.

I got up showered and did my hair, and threw a cute outfit on.  Hair like this:

I was craving some coffee so I decided to finish up getting ready and head down to the coffee shop a couple blocks away from my place.

On the walk there I realized how friendly some of the people were being. Everyone looked so happy and care free. I hope to get to that point someday.

I made it to the coffee shop and I realized there was a sign on the window that said " now hiring " ... Perfect I thought to myself. 

BARISTA: what can I get for you?

Y/N: uhhhh.... I'd like to get an iced caramel coffee to go please.

BARISTA: alright that will be 6.50

I handed her the cash...

BARISTA: what's your name ?

Y/N: y/n

She wrote my name on the cup...

Y/N: I saw that you guys are hiring ?

BARISTA: yes we are, are you interested?

Y/N: actually yes, I was going job hunting today. It was almost like this was meant to be!

BARISTA: well it just so happens my brother and I run this place... can you stick around for an interview in a few?

Y/N: yes definitely, I'll just go have a seat over there by the window.

As she handed me my coffee I walked over to the window and had a seat....

I was drinking my coffee and reading a book when I looked up and seen a guy walking over to my table.

?????: Hello, are you y/n?

Y/N: yes.

?????: Hi I'm Namjoon, I'm Jennies brother, I own this coffee shop.

Y/N: oh really that's awesome, well nice to meet you Namjoon!

He reached his hand out to shake and I lifted mine to reach his...

NAMJOON: nice to meet you too Y/n.

He said as he sat down.

I couldn't help but realize how handsome this man was. He was so tall and had the cutest dimples..... I zoned out for a second.....

NAMJOON: so I'm gonna do the interview today.

Y/N: awesome sorry I'm not dressed more professional.

NAMJOON: no you're fine. This is California, and it's super hot outside.. plus we're just a cafe... I'd want you to be yourself.  Okay so tell me about yourself?

Y/N: uhhh... okay. I'm from Miami I graduated recently and just moved here a few weeks ago, looking for a new start and on my own.

NAMJOON: that's really cool, so how old are you ?

Y/N: I'm 18.

NAMJOON: you're the same age as my sister, you guys should get along great. Do you plan to sign up for school?

Y/N: yes I think I eventually will I'm just taking time to look for a steady job before I do so!

NAMJOON: cool.. cool. Have you ever worked in this type of place before ?

Y/N: to be honest I haven't had a job before.

NAMJOON: that's okay.. we all have to start out at some time and some where! Sounds like you are a good fit for this place.

Y/N: really ?! Yay that's great to hear.

NAMJOON: let me have a talk with my sister and I'll get back to you as early as hour or two, if she agrees with me, is that okay?

Y/N: yes that's fine!

NAMJOON: great what's your phone number?

I gave him my phone number, and thanked him before I turned to leave.

I went around exploring the place and everyone wants you to apply online now so I decided to head home and just look for jobs in this area..

I spent hours and hours... I started getting sleepy..... and bored!

But then I heard my phone ringing so I ran to grab it downstairs...

I answered it..

NAMJOON: Hi, is this Y/n?

Y/N: Yes, Hi Namjoon.

NAMJOON: Alright So I talked to my sister and she's totally on board.

Y/N: OMG AWESOME! thank you guys so much!

NAMJOON: no problem at all, you'll be a great fit with us... So would you be up to starting in the morning?

Y/N: definitely!

NAMJOON: Great, well we shall see you in the morning, enjoy the rest of your day!

Y/N: You too bye bye!

I jumped for Joy... I have a Job of my own.... and maybe I can make some friends around here..... I just feel scared to bring anyone into my crazy life..... I don't want others to die over me and my decisions ever again.

This is a fresh start though, maybe he will never find me here, even Dongchul has no idea exactly where I moved to... we lied to him because I had a feeling he would snitch us out to Jungkook.

I spent the rest of the day watching some Kdramas, and eating ramen but its 10:45pm and I started feeling real sleepy so I decided to call it a night!!
