Chapter 037

I change my outfit to just a pair of black pants with a black long sleeve. This was something I would ware back then. I open the door. I stop by the window and look to see we were closer to home. Still above the sea but closer. We left like this as well and here I am coming back without you.

I walk into the room. The silence as I walk in and sat in the chair. I look to see all their eyes on me. Those children had tears in their eyes. They were swollen to the point it felt like someone gave them a black eye.

They went back to what they were discussing. I turn my direction to the window. I look at the sky as we pass by clouds. How is it up there? Is it more peaceful up there?

"Yelena what about the jaw titan and the cart titans"

"Violet had the cart titan down."

I turn to see him, Zeke. I had the cart titan, did you want to kill me.

"Did she really, how come you didn't" Hange turn to me.

I swirl the chair around and met them. I pointed to Falcon.

"He ran over to her. which made her emit her steam in order to protect causing the thunder spear to move."

"Hmm I see so he was in the way"

I look at him. What is he implying here

"And to cover up that slip-up, the beast titan chuckle more rocks at us than planned. That was some clever improvement for a clown-like you"

"Don't glare at me like that Levi. What if I piss my pants. And you're quite the actor yourselves. Considering you want to kill me so bad. Look at Violet she is as calm as a feather. To think you both have the same strength."

I ignore his remark. I don't need to kill you here. I look at Captain he was the one who made the promise to the commander.

"Violet is ready to kill you. Didn't she take out your bud? And I'm a kind person. I like to savor the best for last."

I look down words to still have it here. The handkerchief of Sasha, I wrap my gem with it. I look at the green gem. For a second it seems to have turned blue. Mother are you here with me. I need you. I can't do this alone. I look to the window.

I look at the birds flying. They look so free out there. Is this why it would always come back to you.

Mikasa and Armin had sat down on both of my sides. I look at them and they held my hand.

"They truly are but one day we're going to be like them." I listen to his words. He didn't hesitate to say them. Mikasa squezed my hand.

She really is friendly and scary at the same time. I turn to see Sasha asleep. It is tiring to stay here all day long.

"WELCOME TO PARADISE"

I look at the faces of the soldiers.

"I'm Hanji, here to greet the guest who has come this far. Now step down for some tea"

I mean Eren titan is holding them up in the air so that could be one of the problems.

I turn the rock where the other guy was with the Captain. Her skit was not buying it.

"Isn't that right Nicolo"

She really is scary.

"He's tired of your shitty skit"

I was too.

"Are you wanna be rude to us. Don't you see one titan behind you"

She yelled.

"Hanji I would be happy to accept your invitation, let's have some tea."

She turns to Eren

"I'll have long to meet you Eren, oh and where is she."

I hid behind the rock.

"That lady just shot her own soldier."

"I wonder what her goal is"

I turn to Jean and Connie.

What is her goal?

I felt someone head on me. Sasha was leaning on me.

Mikasa came over and pull her ponytail lightly.

"Sasha no napping"

"Yeah we've been really lucky"

I turn to see Eren sitting on a rock. He still had those red marks under his eyes. I stood up from the dirt. I held my hand out to Sasha.

"We've stopped their landing by pure chance. If Marley comes in force, we'll be screwed. WE have to do something." He stops his sentence and looks over at me.

"I think they are looking forward to you"

Inside the tent, Hange marvels over the mechanics of a pistol and Yelena briefs them on the size and scope of the Marleyan military, including aerial capability.

Surprised that Marley could attack from the sky, Hange asks why they took so long to return. Yelena explains that the Pure Titans that had previously been unleashed would have hindered a land assault and that Marley is currently already at war with multiple countries. She is impressed that the people of Paradis seem to have rid themselves of all the Titans surrounding their Walls,

because they captured the Colossal and Female Titans, Marley's enemies took notice and declared war.

Hange guesses that Yelena and Onyankopon must be secret agents that have infiltrated the Marley army from conquered nations, but Yelena corrects them, saying that they were forced to become soldiers for Marley. They were close to losing hope when they met Zeke Jaeger. Yelena describes the moment like meeting a god, and under his command, they shot their superiors. They call themselves the Anti-Marleyan Volunteers and their goal is to free the Eldian people.

I look out the window. It looks pretty today. The whole regiment was here. The scouts were sitting on the right. Garrison was in the middle and the military was on the left.

The commander Zachary. Historia was here too.

"I couldn't let her get made into a titan based on my hunch."

I look over to Eren. Did he finally reveal the true power? To wake up all the titans inside the walls. I laid my head on the table. I am a bit tired. I have only slept for three hours. This is truly getting interesting. Just how long is it going to take.

I stood up from my chair. Their screams echo through my years. I look over at them. They had wide eyes open. I look down at my hand, it was shaking. I shouldn't say anything. It really is getting out of control for me. I don't think anything can change.

Someone touches my shoulder.

I move from their hands. I don't know what to do.

It felt horrible. I stood with my hands out.

I held my head. What had to trigger it?

I felt someone's hand.

It felt real why am I the one. I don't understand anything.

"Violet those headaches, are they something else."

I stood up. It was still hurting. I stare deep into her.

"No, I had them since I was very sick as a child"

At this point, I could see from her eyes the distrust in me. I excuse myself. This is hurting me more. I have to put this to an end. Sorry commander I can't say anything to you.

"Welcome to this filthy island of the filthy devils. Your gonna love it, as long as you like pig piss."

I stood up onto the rock. I aim the pistol at the soldiers.

"You can also leave if you want"
