Chapter 62

02:19, 19 April 2014

It's been a few weeks since Cody and I broke up and we still see each other obviously. I've been in the studio in the last few weeks and I'm working on an album to release soon. I've also had a lot of modelling jobs and have an interview on Ellen tomorrow.

"Lauren! Get me a beer!" Trey shouted at me from outside, I rolled my eyes and brought him a beer. "Anything else, Sir?" I asked. "I'd like one too." Dad requested. "I have to help Mom with Lilly's cake!" I moaned. "Well get me a beer and then you can help." "Mom wants you to pin the signs around the house." I said and walked towards the backdoor.

"And you have to blow up balloons." I smiled at Trey before walking back inside. "So we're writing her name in the cake still, yeah?" I asked, Mom nodded. "Before we can do that can you go and get the balloons from Angie?" "Why are they at their house?" I asked.

"Angie got them at the mall the other day." "Why can't Trey go? He has a car." I moaned. "You've just given him a beer." She reminded, I rolled my eyes and went to put some shoes on. "Be back in twenty minutes!" I shouted before leaving.

I knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer. "No we don't want to buy your cookies." Brad answered, I laughed at him. "I'm not selling cookies!" I pushed past him and walked into the house. "Where's your wife?" I asked.

"Which one?" He joked, I laughed. "She's in the kitchen." I nodded and walked into the kitchen. "Hey!" I greeted. "Hi Lonn." "Mom sent me over to ask for t-" "The balloons?" "Yes." "Okay, they're in the living room with the helium tank. You might need Brad to take you home because it's heavy." She said, I nodded.

"Dad just went out." Tommy said as he walked into the kitchen. "You'll have to ask Cody." I groand and walked up the stairs. I knocked on his door and then walked in. "Holy sh- You could wait for me to answer!" He wrapped a towel around himself quickly.

"I've seen it all before." I laughed, Cody didn't seem too impressed. "Or not." I added quietly. "What do you want?" "Can you take me home?" "How long have you been here?" "I need to take the balloons home and there's a helium tank too and I can't carry it."

"Alright, get out so I can put some clothes on and then I'll take you home." "What are you wearing for the party?" I asked and walked to his wardrobe. "Lauren you do realize I'm naked under this towel, right?" "And I'm naked under these clothes!" I gasped sarcastically.

"Get out!" He pointed to the door, I laughed and left the room. After a few minutes Cody came downstairs. "Let's go." He stood in the doorway. "You're carrying that." I pointed to the tank of helium, Cody nodded and picked it up.

"You make it look so easy!" I followed him with the balloons. "I can't count the amount of times I've had to throw you over my shoulder or carry you around." He said. I got into the car and waited for him to as well. When we got back we carried the stuff into the house.

"We have two hours to eat lunch and then sort the rest out." I heard my mom say to my dad. "It's okay, Sarah, we'll do it." "I brought balloons!" I shouted as I threw the box on the couch. "Where do I put this?" Cody asked. "Just put it on the floor." Dad pointed to the ground.

"Lauren can blow them up, Trey can pin them around and Cody..?" Mom turned to look at him. He raised his eyebrows. "Were you doing something important or can you help?" Cody sighed and then nodded. "What do you need me to d-" He was cut off by me letting go of a balloon.

Dad, Cody and I burst out laughing. "Don't waist the helium!" "Calm down, Sarah. Cody can help her." Dad suggested. "Alright, off we go." I picked up the balloon as they left the room. "You have to hold it really tight." I told Cody.

"Mom! There's no enough helium for all of the balloons!" I shouted her after we'd run out. "That's fine, blow up the rest!" She called back. "You're good at blowing." Cody winked at me. "Excuse me?!" "You heard me." He flashed his sexy smirk and started to blow up a balloon.

After we'd finally made the house look ready for Lilly's birthday party we had a twenty minutes until Lilly finished school. "Cody, before you leave can I ask one more favor?" Mom stopped him as he opened the front door. "What is it?" "Can you pick Lilly up from school?"

Cody let out a massive sigh. "She has to come with me." Cody pointed at me, I rolled my eyes and walked outside. "You're going to have to show me the way." He started the engine. "It's near my school so drive there and then I'll show the way." I said, Cody nodded.

"We haven't done this in a while." He put his hand on my leg, I wanted to move it away but I do and always have liked it being there. "Can I tell you something?" Cody asked. "Shoot." "You can take it however you want to and if you want we'll do nothing about it but then agai-" "Cody just tell me?"

"I really mi-" "Red light!" I shouted as Cody nearly drove passed it. "Seriously, you need more driving lessons." I giggled, Cody squeezed my leg. "It's a left here." I pointed, Cody nodded and replaced both hands on the wheel.

Once we'd gotten to the school we went to where you wait for Lilly's class. "So I know I'm not going to have much time alone with you later so I need to tell you this now. Before it's too late. I've waited too long already and it's killing me." Cody started.

"Just tell me, Cody." "I- Well I kinda- Uh- I mis-" "Cody!" I heard Lilly from behind him, Cody turned around and caught her as she jumped into his arms. "You came to pick me up?!" "Of course I did, it's your birthday." He kissed her head and placed her on the ground again.

"Yo Lauren?!" I heard Paul from behind me, I turned around. "Hey Paul, hi Amy." I smiled at her. "I know I haven't seen you in a week or so but I need to talk to you about what happened when Dan went around your house a few weeks ago." He said, I gave him wide eyes as if to tell him to shut up.

"When did he go over yours?" Cody asked. "I asked him to come over when we broke up." "Anything happen?" "Oh please." I rolled my eyes and returned my gaze back to Paul. "He said you guys ki-" "Lauren, can we go home now?" Lilly interrupted him. Thank you Lilly!

"Yeah let's go. I'll talk to you later, Paul." I smiled and walked past him, Cody and Lilly followed she grabbed my hand and walked next to me. "I'll help her do her belt." I offered, Cody nodded and got into the car. I lifted Lilly onto the seat and leant over her to click her belt in.

"Balloons!" Lilly shouted as she noticed the balloons attatched to the front door. "Why don't you go check out the inside of the house?" Cody suggested, Lilly nodded and ran inside. I tried to follow her but Cody caught my wrist and pushed me against the car.

"You kissed him?" "What?!" "When we got back to California. Who was here before Alli?" "I was." I smiled innocently before pushing myself off the car. "Don't get smart with me." He warned me, I tried to hide my smirk. "We'd only just broken up and you went and kissed some random guy?!" He raised his voice.

"Shut the hell up!" I matched his volume. "Why would you do that?" "He kissed me!" "It's pretty easy to push someone away." "Look, Cody, you can't tell me what to do anymore." I tried to walk past him but he caught me and pulled me back.

"Have you kiss-" "It was a one time accident, I didn't plan it and haven't done it since." "Good." He let go of me. "See you later." I walked into the house. "Did Cody leave?" "He needs to get ready for them coming over tonight." "They'll be here in an hour." Mom said, I nodded.

"Is everyone coming in an hour?" I asked. "No, I need Angie here to help me set up the food. Lilly's friends get here in an hour and a half." "Okay, I'm going to get ready." I smiled and went to my bedroom. I had a shower and then got changed into some denim, hotpant shorts and a tight white belly top.

I put my makeup on and perfumes and then made sure I looked okay. I know it's only friends, familly and little children but you always have to look good around your ex! There was a knock at my door and then in came Tommy. "What's up man?" I smiled.

"You're needed downstairs." "Okay." I walked towards the door. "Why aren't you wearing this ring? It's pretty." Tom picked my promise ring up off the dresser. "Cody got it for me." "Oh." He put it back down. "It's okay, Tommy." I smiled at him, he smiled back and we went downstairs.

"What's up?" I asked as I walked into the living room. "Lilly's friends will be here so-" "Dude!" I heard Trey, we all looked at him. "What?" I asked. "Cody was staring at your as-" "Dude!" Cody said from behind me, I turned and looked at him.

"Anyway," My mom guided my attention back to her. "They'll want to go in the pool, they're not allowed in there until after everyone's here and until them can you keep them busy?" "Sure." I walked out of the kitchen and into the living room.

"And Lauren buyed me a braclet and some other things but I'm not allowed to open them yet." Lilly was telling Alli, she looked up and smiled at me. "Hey girls." I sat down on the couch next to Alli. "Als, when people start getting here can you help me occupy them until everyone is here?" I asked.

"Sure, that'll be fun." She smiled at Lilly. "Can we play musical bumps?" She asked as she jumped on the spot. "Sure!" I cheered. There was a knock at the door. "Lilly!" Mom shouted her, Lilly grabbed my hand and dragged me to the door with her.

"Hi Amy." I smiled at her as I opened the door. "Hi Lauren, Lilly!" Amy came into the house and they both ran off. I lauhged as I watched them and then returned back to talking to Paul. "Mom said to ask if she needs picking up tomorrow morning?" "No. We'll drop her off." "Jasmin's coming to ours tomorrow morning too." He told me, I nodded. "I know, I remember."

"See you later." I smiled at him and then watched as someone's car pulled up on the driveway. Out got another one of Lilly's friends, Jack, and his dad. "Well you've deffinatly gotten bigger now you're seven." He joked, I laughed.

"Lilly!" I called her and smiled at Jack. "Yeah?" "Jack's here." I pointed to him. "Come in, Jack! We're playing with Cody." She grabbed his hand and pulled him inside. "This is Jack's bag of things he might need and I'm picking up at eight, yes?" "Yup." I smiled and took the bag from him.

Once everyone had gotten here we played hide and seek around the house and back yard but then I got bored. "Shall we go in the pool now?" I asked all the little ones, they jumped up and down and nodded. "Everyone go upstairs, your things are up there." I pointed inside.

"Lauren?" Jasmin pulled on my hand, I bent down to her height. "What's up, sweetie?" "I didn't bring a swimming costume." She looked down. "Let's get you one of Lilly's to wear." I took her hand and led her to Lilly's room where all the others were.

"Lilly, can Jasmin borrow one of your bikinis?" "Yeah." Lilly nodded. Once they'd gotten changed we all went back downstairs. "Lauren?" Cody pulled me to the side. "Mmm?" I hummed. "Go get the hose from the front." "Why?" "Just do it." I did as I was told and passed it to him.

"Is it on?" "Yes, just hold that down and it comes out." I pointed. "Daddy, can I have some soda?" Lilly asked as she climbed up the ladder of the pool. "Sure, they're over there." He pointed to the table. Lilly grabbed one and had something to drink and then walked to the steps.

Cody held down the thing and squirted her with the hose. Lilly turned and looked at him and then ran towards him. Cody squirted her more as they restled I ran out of the way so I wouldn't get wet. "This isn't going to end well." I stood next to my dad and watched the little ones play with Cody in the water.

"Go get the sprinkler." Dad told me. "Where is it?" "It's in my closet, on the top shelf." I nodded and ran upstairs. I grabbed the sprinkler and ran back downstairs. "Look what I have!" I shouted. Cody and I set it up and turned it on for all the little ones to play in.

"You need to change." I grabbed Cody's hand and pulled him to my bedroom. "You just want me naked in your bedroom." He winked at me, I rolled my eyes and laughed. I got out a shirt and pants that Cody left in my closet and passed it to him.

"Go in there and change." "I'll do it right here." He took off his shirt. "Get in that bathroom now!" I pointed to the bathroom. "Calm yourself!" He threw his wet shirt at me and went into the bathroom.

It was around half eight when everyone had gone home. Well accept Amy, Jasmin and the Simpsons. "Lauren, can you do our nails before we go to bed?" Lilly came into my bedroom. "Okay, sure." I got out all my nail stuff and put it on the floor, the three of them sat with me on the floor.

"What color do you want?" I asked them all, they pointed to their ones. "Can I have mine like yours?" Amy asked as she looked at my nails. "Yeah." I smiled and started on hers, I did a french manicure just like my nails. After I did Jasmine and Lilly who both wanted pink.

"Thank you!" They all hugged me. "Now do you want me to read you a bedtime story?" I asked, the girls got up and ran into Lilly's room without saying anything. I laughed and followed them. "Alright everyone in Lilly's bed for the story." I said and they all did as I told them.

I sat on the end of the bed and read a story, the three of them fell asleep during the story so I got up and put them in their own beds and then went back to my own bedroom. "What are you doing in here?" I asked Cody as I walked into the room.

"I need to talk to you." He got up off the bed, I cleaned up all the nail stuff and put it away. "So can I?" He asked, I nodded. "Sit." He patted the window seat next to him. "I'm okay standing." I stayed where I was. "Alright, as I was trying to say earlier- I- Uh I-" "Cody, stop stuttering and just tell me."

"I've been thinking over the last few weeks that we've been apart. It's been hard for me. I really- I miss you." He looked into my eyes. "I don't know what to say, Cody." I looked away. "Say you miss me too." He got up and walked towards me.

"Cody, I-" "You don't miss me?" He pulled me towards him and wrapped his arms around me. "Or do you?" I could feel his breath on my neck which made my breathing speed up. "I bet you haven't been touched like this in a while." He ran his hand from my thigh up to the back of my neck.

"So do you miss me?" He asked again. His voice was deep and seductive, I was melting. "I do." I whispered. "Cody?! We're going home now!" Angie called from downstairs. "I'm gonna stay here a little longer, Lauren and I are talking about something." He called back.

"You miss me then, aye?" He pulled my body against his. "Mhmm." I hummed as I placed my hands on his chest. I looked up at Cody for the first time, he was staring at me. His eyes were full of love and desperation. I pulled on the hem of his shirt and lifted it over his head.

I pressed my lips to his chest, Cody threw the shirt away. "Hey." He lifted my chin and looked me in the eyes. "I love you. That's never changed." He pressed his lips onto mine. Cody picked me up and pushed me against the wall, I wrapped my legs around his waist as we made out.

Cody lifted my shirt over my head and threw it away and then pressed his lips against my chest. He unclipped my bra and threw that away too. We made out some more before Cody put me on the bed. "Lock the door." I pointed to it. "And turn off the light." Cody did that too.

"It feels like forever since we've done this." He said as he climbed inbetween my legs. "I know." I connected our lips and wrapped my legs around him. Cody let out a small groan as I kissed his neck. "Don't give me any hickeys." I said as he kissed my neck.

"Why?" "I have an interview tomorrow." "I can leave one down here then." He moved his lips to the inside of my thighs. I moaned softly as he did it. "Codes, come up here." I pulled him up again. "Hmm?" He hummed as he pressed his lips to mine. "Show me what I've been missing?" I whispered in agaisnt his lips. "I plan to." He whispered back.
