Being Queen

I went into my room and went into the bath. The warm water relaxed my muscles and washed away the smell of food. I got dressed into a light green nightgown and went to lie down in my bed."My lady?" I sighed and sat on my bed and turned to the handmaiden."Yes?" "My lady, your bed is now in the king's room." "Am I alone to go in there without the king's permission?" The maiden nodded and I pushed up the door into Thranduil's room. The room was lit up with candles and I dropped into a chair. By the chair was a book. I picked it up and opened it to the first the page. It was about the history of the elves.

I got lost into the book then the door opened. I jumped to my feet and bowed as Thranduil walked in."Ellarian, please you are my wife and queen, there is no need to bow." I nodded and Thranduil hugged me and got changed. Then I dropped onto the bed and got under the covers. Thranduil gently pulled me close to him and gently pushed down my nightgown while I pulled off his top. That night I found out what making love was.

The next morning, we both had fallen asleep naked, our bodies pressed close together. Thranduil was wakes staring at the ceiling. I snuggled up to him. He kissed my hair. I was about to get on top of him, when the door burst open. Thranduil sat up and I quickly covered my naked chest with the blankets."Can I not have a morning of peace, Fínor?" Thranduil said crossly. Fínor bowed and replied"My apologises, my king and my queen, but there is an important meeting in an hour." Thranduil frowned and asked"Do you think that I forgot?" Fínor vanished and door closed. I laughed into the blankets. Thranduil dropped back onto the bed and I crawl over to him. "Your kingdom will not wait for you, Thranduil." He sighed and gently kissed me. I got up and walked over the changing screen. I chose a red dress and a red and gold circlet. I brushed my hair and had it in a side ponytail. My hair naturally curled its self. When I walked out from behind the screen, Thranduil was dressed in red as well.  "Red suits you." I said. Thranduil smiled and we walked out to breakfast.

The meeting was very boring. It was all about how we should stop people from walking through the kingdom. They rattled on about how the Old Forest Road was like a highway and just really complaining. I could tell Thranduil was about to explode with impatience. So I quickly said"My lords, we have heard your problems and the king will have to think about this. He was much on today, so if you will excuse us." They got up when we got and bow. Then I took Thranduil's arm and we walked out."You must come to every meeting, my love." I laughed and Thranduil kissed my temple. Then a young maiden came racing towards us."My lord! My lady!" And behind were six mad men running up behind her. And I watched in horror as they stabbed her in the back.
