dabi: well i couldnt make it obvious i was eavesdropping now could i

cam:again terrible. come on, you hungry?

my attitude changed completely and he grabbed my hand following me and joining lily.

Lily:...what do you think homeless guy

dabi:..im not homeless...technically.

cam:then where do you live.

dabi:well i can tell you cam but i dont really trust lily.

he laughed and i smiled at him handing him some frozen dumplings i heated up on the stove. he smiled and thanked me.

lily:you guys...you look like youve been together for years.

cam:huh maybe in a past life?

dabi:could be. or maybe im just wonderful.

cam:eh past life seems more likely haha

him and i started chuckling while lily stopped staring in a disgusted way.

lily:wait...if i do this, you get to have a break...a real life?

cam:lil, this is a real life. im fine if you dont want to do it. ill always be ok.

lily:...i want to meet the guy.

i called her parents immediately and my attitude changed once again. i told them what she had said and they seemed ecstatic. the date was for tomorrow. she ended up spending the night in my guest room.

dabi:i should go home huh

cam:depends on what you call home.

he explained that he lives in a old abandoned warehouse that used to be one of the bases for the old league of villains. they got taken down a few years back by the now number 1,2,3,4,and 5 heros. Deku, bakugo, inigium, red riot, and uravity. they did it right as they were graduating high school nonetheless. he told me he was one of the villains, the only one to survive. i apologized for him, it must have been hard no matter how bad they were they were his friends...his family. i told him he can have my guest room after tonight. he smiled and walked with me to my bedroom. its was 4am and i woke up to dabi having a bad dream. i sat up and put his head on my chest to calm him down, i told him where he was and that hes safe.

Cam:youre at my house, dabi its ok. its just me. me and you in my room. i promise. youre safe and no one can hurt you ok?

he started to slow his breathing down. i pet his hair and started to fall asleep, his hair was soft and warm it felt so calming. i had weird dreams after though, dreams of me being a little kid playing with one of the rich kid families. since i was being trained to guard them i was encouraged to play with the kids to grow a stronger bound with them. and there was this little boy with white hair, his name was touya he didnt have a quirk yet was so confident in what he did. "i think youll have an amazing quirk, itll be as wonderful as you, cam." and i woke up to lily whisper yelling my name. i looked at dabi and then her.

Lily:im hungry.

Cam:i hate this about you. ok, hey dabi can you wake up?

dabi:ya, sorry i was just... calm.

he got up and was shirtless. lily was staring the whole time and i just tried to avert my gaze. we went to the kitchen where i made her a special breakfast and called the maid and alex to check her place out and clean if need be. once i get the ok ill walk her home. its not far from here but i prefer her not being home when we do searches, im never able to focus when shes watching me search her place. she always tries to tell me that her vibrators are everywhere.

Lily:so when will alex get assigned?

cam:next week. hes going to your younger sister.

lily:hes a good guy. thats a good match.

Cam:yeah. i just hope he doesnt fall for her.

lily:has..that happened?

cam:once but it turned out the two weren't even blood related to anyone in the family so they just kinda disappeared.

lily:when did it happen?

cam:um...80 years ago? i dont know all the history

lily:you sure sound like you do.

cam:well ok lets get you a new outfit. alright your friend, Candice is on her way here. and here's your credit card back. spend as much as you want.

she giggled excitedly as she ran to the guest room where she got ready. i turned to see a shirtless dabi behind me and all my thoughts stopped processing. He smiled as he leaned in closer to me.

Dabi:is there a problem?

Cam:i uh...nope.

dabi:so what happened last night?

cam:you had a nightmare.

Dabi:oh...sorry.

cam:its ok, i used to do the same thing during sleepovers for a little kid i knew.

dabi:yeah what was their name?

cam:touya. we were barely 5 but he was my favorite in all the rich families i was sent to play with.

dabi:how...how old?

cam:we were both about 5 maybe younger, its kinda hard to remember sometimes. we hadn't gotten our quirks yet though. i remember when he got his i didn't even get to see it before his family left. we were too young to meet again, but i heard he passed away a few years after.

dabi:huh.

he was in the fridge at this point, grabbing milk and some eggs. i smiled at him, he looked completely out of it. and then lily came into the kitchen wearing a crop top and black jeans. she had her hair up and was wearing pearl earrings.

cam:ok ill be out all day and i wont be in your sight but dont worry ill be following. wheres the bracelet.

Lily:ugh do i have to?

cam:...yes.

she pulled out a small apple watch bracelet that she hated. It had a tracker and could record everything going on.

lily:so...those burns, how far do they go?

dabi:sorry, only cam gets the privilege of knowing that.

cam:WHAT PLEASE GUYS STOp...

my face changed in an instant and i hid the blush that was very apparent. lily knew talking about sex to others except a partner made me uncomfy which was why she made comments so often. it also didn't help most guys not want her since she was so open talking about it, which is why most of my exes became that way because she slept with them. if her parents didnt pay me so well and it wasnt a huge part of my life i wouldnt stay around her. her friend knocked on the door and i told dabi to change but she had already came in.

Candice:oh wow lily the night before you meet your future husband really?

cam:actually hes mine.

candice:has that stopped her before?

lily:its true but also he doesnt seem into me. lets go i want to shop before i meet this guy.
