Detective Seung immediately ripped me apart from Hoseok's tight grip. He already had my bags, it's like they were waiting for us to get back.

Which only means, time has passed already and a few thousand know the truth, but soon it'll be millions.

Hoseok: WAIT! MAI!

"HOSEOK!" I shouted.

He looked worried and afraid, for me.

His manager and his security had to sedate him and get him somewhere safe. Chaos was right before him.

The screaming and roaring from reporters and fans was devastating.

How did word get out?

Nothing rushed through my head besides the fact that our relationship is no longer a secret. It will no longer be something special, because eveyone will know and it will never be the same again. Ever.

One sacred thing that belonged only to him and me, is now taken from us. In seconds.

We'll never get it back.

It's everyone's business now..

Hoseok tried to run to me, but we were separated faster than we could blink.

Am I really going to be separated from the love of my life? Despite that he's famous, I don't care, I was never with him for that reason anyways. I truly love him, we have this strong connection.

How can all of this be happening after we just celebrated our 8th month anniversary.

Hoseok: GET OFF ME! MAI!

I breathed heavily as I tried to break free from Seung Jae's grip, "HOBI!"

DS: DON'T FIGHT MAI. GET IN HERE.

He viciously threw me in the back seat of his car and closed it. I couldn't help but cry as I covered my face, the reporters surrounded the car immediately and started taking pictures.

I felt like I was being blinded.

And worse, bullied.

All of this exposure is developing quite rapidly that I still can't wrap my mind around it.

I've been exposed..

Everyone will know my name..

My address..

My phone number if possible..

My background story most likely..

But most of all..

My relationship with Jung Hoseok.

Detective Seung soon drove off from the scene, I noticed fans running after the car and throwing things.

They don't even know me and I'm already being treated this way?.

I cried and covered my face.

"You ok?" Seung Jae asked.

I didn't bother to answer and cried.

"I'm sorry...but you need to lay low for a while." He told me.

But...Hoseok.

"Mai. Did you hear me?"

I looked up at him and sniffled, "I don't want to be separated from him forever.." my voice cracked, "Seung Jae.. I love him...I don't care if he's a famous kpop star, I love him."

His eyes full of sorrow.

I looked out the window and cried.

"Hobi.." I squealed.

He sighed, "I'm sorry Mai, but you really need to lay low. This has gone out of my control, I didn't even see it coming, it just blew up in my face. Jimin is missing."

Pause.

WHAT?

"What do you mean he's missing?" I asked.

"After word got out, he disappeared, and so did Eunice. No one knows where they are."

!!

"THEY RAN AWAY!" I exclaimed.

"We can't jump to conclusions, if anything, I'm hoping they're somewhere safe." He said, "Mai, fans are going out of control, there's a mob outside of the boys dorm and the company. They're not safe!"

"Oh my gosh are they ok?!" I asked anxiously and cried.

"Yes, they need to lay low too, at least until everyone calms down and gives them a chance to explain themselves."

"And what about Lena?!" I asked.

"She's fine, I got her to safety immediately, she's with my wife, I think it's best you stay with me for a while. Ok?"

My breathing grew heavy and I felt like I was going into shock. I was sweating, I could hear my heart beat racing in my ears, my throat was dry, I'm overheated, my mind is spinning, I think..

I'm having a seizure.

"Mai? MAI! OH MY GOSH! HANG ON!" He shouted and pressed on the gas.

Everything was unraveling too quickly for me to keep up, I was shaking rapidly and felt like I was going to die.

Oozing started to spill from my mouth and my eyes rolled backwards.

Why is this happening to me?

Detective Seung rushed me into the hospital faster than ever and I was treated immediately.

But of course, I blacked out during the whole process.

-J-Hope POV-

"I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU." He shouted fiercely, "YOU LIED TO ME! YOU LIED TO YOUR MEMBERS, YOU LIED TO THE STAFF, YOU LIED TO THE COMPANY, AND YOU LIED TO YOUR OWN FAMILY!" He screamed, his face was red and the veins on his neck were popping out.

Namjoon: Technically he didn't lie..

Yoongi: Yeah we already knew so.. *shrugs*

Manager: I DIDN'T ASK YOU!

Everyone, besides Jimin, was in the conference room of another building we own and being scolded for my "Lie"

It was painfully quiet.

Besides of course, all the screaming.

"I MEAN HOW STUPID CAN YOU BE REALLY? DON'T YOU SEE THAT GIRL IS ONLY WASTING YOUR TIME?!"

I glared at him, "You don't know her, how would you know she's wasting my time? You haven't even asked me what she's like or why I'm with her to begin with. Like what's your problem? I've been with her for 8 months and nothing has gone wrong. Or has it? Obviously you're just upset because you hate to find out about shit last and I'm sure it's also because she's not Korean, she's foreign."

"Shut up, Hoseok!"

"No, you shut up," I said and arosed from my seat, "I know my rights and you're no one to tell me if I can or can't date."

"I'm your fucking manager!"

"SO?" I shouted, "Nothing has gone wrong until THIS happened!"

"IT'S STILL NOT RIGHT. YOU ARE BEING DISTRACTED BY THIS GIRL."

"HER NAME'S MAI."

"I DON'T CARE."

I took a step back before I did anything stupid.

"Our fanbase is going insane, no one in the company is safe and Jimin is missing, ON TOP OF THAT, HE'S DATING TOO. I mean, did you even think about the damn consequences?" He asked.

"Of course I did."

He huffed, "It's obvious you didn't, not only is my life on the line, but so is that girls life AND Jimin's girl too. Ugh. I just can't believe you've kept this from me! What the fuck am I supposed to say?!"

Taehyung: Nothing.

Everyone looked at Taehyung.

Manager: Excuse me?

Taehyung: You should just let it be, why give an explanation? Those who are upset about this are in denial. They can't accept it, but who cares? It's their problem.

He winked at me.

Manager: We look like liars.

Jungkook: Let them think what they want, Taehyung is right, it's their problem they're upset, not ours.

"They don't control us." I stated.

Manager: Oh but they control your future, don't forget boys, Armys have helped you come a long way. And for you and Jimin to just date behind their backs without a warning...? It's obvious they'll be upset. They feel betrayed.

I rolled my eyes.

Manager: Not to mention that this isn't the only terrible thing that's happened, what about that psycho that attacked you? Hm? Have you forgotten?

"She was after my girlfriend too."

Jungkook: And Jimin's, his girlfriend actually lost her mom not too long ago..

Manager: WHY AM I BEING TOLD THIS NOW???

Yoongi: Are you blind or something? Can't you clearly see Mai is the girl that was attacked by Lee Shin-Mae and was all over the news?

Manager: I JUST NOTICED!

I sighed frustratingly.

Namjoon: Look, we know this is bad, but you really shouldn't judge Mai. You don't know her.

Jin: I think you should give her a chance, she's been nothing but nice and loyal to Hoseok. Not to mention, she stayed out of his way when it was time to work.

Manager hyung didn't look convinced.

Most likely because I DID lie about such a thing but...still.

He cannot forbid me to see her.

Manager: *sigh* ok.. I understand where you're all coming from, but one of your members is missing.. doesn't that make you cringe?

Jungkook: Of course it does, but his girl is missing too.

WHAT?!

"Hwayoung?" I said.

They all nod.

Taehyung: I think they ran off somewhere.

Wonder where..

Manager: Well they can't hide forever.

"They won't," I said, "They'll appear someday..but right now..all of this madness..who wouldn't want to run away?"

Manager: Does this girl really mean that much to you?

"Sir...you have no idea." I lowered my eyes, "I know I should be worrying about all the chaos but really...I'm just hoping she's ok..I can already imagine what's going through her head.."

Manager: From what I saw, she was taken in by detective Seung. WHICH IS FIRED BY THE WAY. He lied to me too.

"How can you do that?!" I exclaimed, "He's the reason everything was fine before, if it wasn't for him...I'd probably be dead right now."

Jungkook: Yeah, Detective Seung assured us we'll all be safe! He has the power to do so! You can't just get rid of him!

Taehyung: He was protecting Mai first, you gotta give him credit, he protected all of us from TWO psychos.

Manager: THERE'S MORE?!

"One is locked away." I told him.

Namjoon: A lot happened before this and.. it's just adding on to the drama.

"Whether you tend to isolate us from the world, Shin-Mae is bound to kill me regardless. She's insane."

Manager: Alright alright gimme a minute!

Everyone watched his frustrated state.

Manager: Alright, here's what we'll do.

We all listened closely

Manager: After some of this calms down a bit, I'll call detective Seung and ask him to run a search for Jimin and then everyone will tell me what's BEEN going on and THEN we'll make an announcement regarding this issue. Are we clear?

I nod, "Ok, what about my girlfriend?"

Jungkook: And Jimins?

Manager: Before we make the announcement, I want to meet them personally. I won't question them or anything, I just want to hear what they have to say.

Taehyung: Sounds fair enough, but if you make them cry...

Manager: I won't!

"You better not."

Manager: Ok, I'm gonna call detective Seung, hopefully this won't last days and hopefully Jimin is found.

Jungkook: Along with Hwayoung!

Manager: Yes, of course.

-Jimin POV-

The two youngsters were sound alseep, far away from the madness in the cheapest motel possible. They didn't know where else to go, so they wounded up there.

Both of them were snuggled up against each other under the warm covers.

Suddenly, Jimin wakes up.

I opened my eyes only to see my beautiful girlfriend beside me, safe and sound.

I smiled, then reality hit me.

We've been exposed..

All this time avoiding this issue and bam.. its finally coming down on me.

When I heard the news, saw the media, fancafe.. I was shocked.

I panicked.

The first thing I did was grab my sweater and rush off to Hwayoung's house. There, I noticed she already heard and the both of us just ran off. We were both scared, what were we supposed to do?

We took a bus and found this place, I'm not sure how far we are but.. I think its pretty isolated from the city.

My phone is turned off and so is hers, I can only imagine the massive notifications.

I don't know if Hoseok is safe, or Mai.

What I do know is that nothing will be the same anymore, it's really scary.

I saw pictures of Hwayoung and I, hugging, smiling, laughing, even kissing.

Pictures of Hoseok and Mai too, down at Jeju Island, they must've been spotted by a fan or something. Their pictures went viral too quickly.

There wasn't many nice comments either, everyone was just bashing and going on a rampage.

Why must it be that way?

Have those individuals forgotten that I'm human too? That I have feelings? I need love too aside from the love I get from fans.

It just isn't fair...

Why must Hwayoung suffer but not me? Because I'm famous and thousands love me? Thousands want me for themselves?

What about what I want? When did that become unimportant?

It's always about what the fans want and expect from us, I mean, we try our best but.. They can't let this little thing slide?

I really don't see the problem with me having a girlfriend. I'm no different? She isn't a distraction, more like a motivation, along with Armys. Why can't they see that?

It makes me very sad.

They called her ugly and claim she's "too young" and they called me dumb..

Suddenly we're being judged.

And the same goes for Hoseok, probably even worse, since Mai isn't Korean.

Fans and netizens were calling her such horrific names that I never even thought of.

They all judged too quickly and now poor Mai is in a lot of trouble.

I wonder how she's handling this..

"Mm..Jimin?" Hwayoung mumbled.

"Yeah babe?"

"Nothing.." she turned over to face me, "I'm just... I can't believe-"

"I know." I cut her off, "I can't believe it either," I said, "But you know what? I don't care what they had to say, as long as I'm still with you, I'm ok."

"But.. Jimin-"

"Hwayoung I love you." I told her and stared into her eyes, "Nothing and no one will change that, got it? Even if that means choosing you over my career then so be it!"

She sat up, "You can't do that!"

"Why not?" I asked, "Don't you want to stay with me?"

"Of course I do.." she said, "But I don't want you to throw away all the hard work you've done. You busted your butt getting to where you are now...and to throw it all away just for me? A simple farm girl? That isn't-"

"To me, you're not a simple farm girl, to me you're so much more than that. You have no idea how much I value you, when I look at you, I see my future, I can see myself getting married to you and having kids with you someday. You are everything to me, babe, ok? I love you, you're perfect."

Her eyes were watery as she smiled softly, "Oh Jimin..." her voice cracked, "I love you too." She whispered.

I leaned in and kissed her passionately.

She sighed as a tear dropped, "I just love you too much to ever let you do such a thing."

"Call me dumb all you want, I want to be with you."

"Gosh...the things love makes you do." She said.

I giggled, "Of course baby."

She looked at me and sniffled, "Do you think Mai and Hobi will be ok?"

I shrugged, "Let's hope they will be." I smiled.

She nods, "Oh and.. you do know we can't stay here forever..right?"

"I know, but for now this is the safest place for us. I can't bare to let you get hurt or see what those certain individuals have to say."

She nods again, "Ok.."

I lifted her chin so she'd look at me, "Say you love me."

She giggles, "I love you.."

I smirk, "Now kiss me."

She did so.

"Kiss me one more time."

She laughed, "Jimin!"

"Do it!"

She kissed me once more.

I smiled, "Good, now how about a back rub?"

She hit me with a pillow, we both laughed.

"I'm just kidding!" I said.

"Yeah yeah. Excuse me, I have to shower."

...shower?

My body wants her so bad, but I know better, and besides, I respect her.

But..

"Can I join you?" I asked.

"Absolutely NOT." She said, "Why ask me such a thing?"

I sighed, "Fine..I was just wondering if you'd say yes."

"Park Jimin, are your hormones kicking in?" She asked.

I giggled, "They always do when I lay eyes on you.."

She turned red.

I smirked, "And sure enough your hormones kick in as well, I bet your body craves for me and you most likely inagine what it'd be like if I were to.. seduce you.." my hand went in between her inner thigh.

"Bye!" She said and ran into the bathroom.

I chuckled and shaked my head as I grabbed a towel and head to the bathroom door.

"Babe you forgot something.."

"What? No I didn't."

"No? Well then I guess you want me to see you naked when you get out."

She gasped.

I giggled.

Hwayoung opened the door and snatched the towel quickly then closed the door before I even tried rushing in.

"Thank you! Go away now." She said.

I laughed, "Whatever you say baby."

I swear I love her.

-A couple of Days Later-

-Mai POV-

The young girl was sitting on a chair by the window, staring out to it with a blank expression.

I was in the hospital for a day and was eligible to go home. Since then, I haven't smiled, laughed, eaten, or seen the light of day.

It's like my whole world became a shut in and I feel so stupid.

My depression came back and I can't bring myself to the phone to at least call him...

Jimin and Eunice are still missing, or so I think, but however, things seemed to have calm down a bit. BigHit hasn't responded to anything regarding the issue and I think everyone is waiting for that.

However, I don't see no point in going through with it. It's obvious no one is willing to accept me and... I guess it's just how things are meant to be.

But am I willing to really let it be that way? I love Hoseok..I love him so much, he hasn't responded to anything either, no one has, its like BTS doesn't even exist at the moment.

This is all my fault..

If only I hadn't dated him, he'd be ok..

*knock knock*

I looked over at the door only to find Mrs. Seung standing by it.

Jae's wife.

"Hello, Mai," she greeted, "May I come in?" She asked nicely.

Her name's Lily, she's actually extremely nice and welcoming. Her two kids are the cutest things as well, one is 8 and the other is 4, Jae really has a cute family.

She has had me under her hospitality for the past few days and I kind of feel ok. Despite everything else, she's taken good care of me, and Lena.

Speaking of Lena, she's horrified, she said there was a mob outside the house hours later after word got out. Which only indicates that they found out all my information very fast. Lena called detective Seung immediately and was rushed out of there, she said people shouted very mean things to her and even tried to assault her.

I know she wants to go home, but for my sake she's staying here. For me. I tell her to forget what I said and save herself, but she refuses.

I don't even have hope anymore..

Not the slightest bit.

"Ahem.. Mai?"

"Oh.." I snapped out of it, "Uhmm.. sorry."

"It's ok, but may I?"

I nod, "Of course..this is your house why are you asking me?"

She walked in, "Well, you look like you could really need some time alone but I think you spent too much time alone so..I thought I'd keep you company."

I smiled at her sweet thoughtfulness.

"Sure..I'd appreciate that." I assured.

She smiles and sits by the edge of the bed, "So...what's been on your mind?" She asked.

I took a deep breath, "Everything."

"My husband said you're dating an idol?"

"Mhm..well..I don't know anymore, I haven't heard from him."

"Things were wicked at the moment, you both had no choice but to stay safe, I'm sure he'll call soon."

"I don't even know anymore, I mean.. I read some of those comments..and saw the memes too..its like no one wants me. No one approves of this."

"Honey, listen to me very carefully," she said, "No matter how hard it may be, you shouldn't care what ANYONE has to say, it's your business to take care of, not theirs? Don't let them take control of your personal issues, you have your rights."

"As much as you're right...it won't ever end, they'll always make it hard." I said.

"You can't be sure of that, Mai. You never know."

True.

Just then, Jae walked inside.

"Hey Mai." He greeted, "Hey hun."

Mrs. Seung: You're back so soon?

DS: Actually..I'm here to pick up Mai.

"Me? Wae?" I asked.

His wife looked at him.

"BigHit would like a word with you."
