Chapter 7: Nightmares for Karma

At a chapel the light bursting through the coloured panes made Manami's wedding dress look flawless and Karma was so mesmerised by her beauty he forgot to talk.

"Karma Do you take Okuda Manami as your wife?" Koro-sensei the ordainer asked wearing formal clothing.

Karma stammered and couldn't pronounce anything he thought, he was tongue tied at the altar.

'Yes' he thought 'Bloody yes'

As the many guests started to speculate and talk, Okuda's soft expression went into a worried one as she could see Karma was perplexed.

"Karma, you ok?" She asked her face now in tears

"Second thoughts right? You didn't want to marry me then Karma!" She started crying and Karma frozen couldn't do anything

Okuda suddenly ran down the aisle to the doors where the ceremony now ruined, Asano joined in.

"What the f*ck are you doing here?!" Karma screamed at the smirking individual

"This here, is where I win Akabane Karma!" He replied

Okuda tearily ran into his arms which were open to her, happy to get his revenge

Before the two left arm in arm Asano's smile grew evil "Sorry for intruding"

The doors shut and Karma is left at the altar, his knees collapsing to the floor in realisation of his defeat

His hands running through his hair and his voice at full range screamed to their full capacity, he had finally lost it...

"Wake up Karma!" Okuda shook Karma up

A rather sweaty Karma opened his eyes to his room next to Okuda whose was worried for his health

"You're not sick are you Karma?" Okuda asked her palm on his forehead

"Nah, it's just a nightmare" removing Okuda's hand from his head and unexpectedly hugging her.

"Nightmare" A shock came to her like she discovered a new heavy element

"What do you mean nightmare? You have things that scare you Karma?"

Karma avoiding the question, wrapped himself in Okuda's body, his arms around her back and head snuggled between her neck .

Her eyes widened i surprise "Karma..." she softly moaned

"If you're here Manami, then the things that scare me don't matter to me anymore"

"You're gonna make me sweaty" She moaned again, ruining the moment.

"Well let's take a bath together then!" Karma exclaimed pulling her in tighter

"I can't breath...Karma" She squealed

"Only if you agree Manami"

"No"

"Aw c'mon, You and me together...Man.am..i" He whispered her name into her ears, her lobes turned bright pink

she swatted her ear "Don't do that" she responded flustered

Karma smirked at another victory in flirting with her.

Karma grabbed Okuda's wrist and pulled her to the ensuite

"What are you doing Karma?"

"taking you to bath with me Manami!" The smirk not leaving his face as he sees her open blush rise on her cheeks, her glasses even fogging up due to the heat of the conversation.

"C'mon it will help you cool down" Karma insisted

"You go by yourself" She whined not being bothered

"If you go with me I'll tell you my nightmare" Karma offered

Okuda was intrigued but at what cost

"Fine, but i'm wearing a towel and you are too" She requested

"Why? Let's be open. It's not like you haven't seen it before" he cheekily says making her blush more thinking about it.

He prepares the bath in the tub, excitedly as Okuda in the other room is wrapping towel around herself, blushing harder every moment and contemplating her life.

"Manami" he shouts creepily

She gulped as she entered the ensuite, but she was determined to find out his nightmare though

He looked really happy to see her as the smile grew across ear to ear

"I don't like that smile" Okuda commented getting a devilish vibe from his aura

Karma stripped in front of Okuda not being ashamed and when in his boxer ready to show his assets Okuda threw a towel at him

"Karma!" Okuda averting her eyes

"Fine I just wanted to see your reaction" he faced backwards and used the towel covering from his waist down.

She took her glasses off before getting into the bath first and immediately hugging her legs to herself

Both were opposite each other in the bath which was covered in bubbles.

The taps were in the middle underneath the shower head as the bath was used for both bath and shower.

Okuda had her legs to her chest and covered her chin the bubbles in embarrassment while Karma openly laid his arms around the rim of the tub and legs spread out to the tub which was next to Okuda's left side.

"Ah nothing like an early morning bath to wake up your system!" Karma relaxed

OKuda didn't want to say anything and was stiff in her position

"C'mon, loosen up Manami"

"What was your nightmare?" she asked directly

He sighed "Promise you won't get creeped out?" he asked looking in her eyes which were staring right back

She nodded but was a little skeptical

"Ok, well it was Asano..."

"You're scared of Asano!" She was surprised

He grit his teeth a little in irritation "You didn't let me finish"

She leaned back "Oh sorry...carry on"

"Asano... that bastard...well he took you from me" he said quickly in response he looked away from her. He also didn't want to mention that he dreamed of himself marrying her.

"Is that what your scared of?"She asked surprised

He nodded his head "hm"

Awkward silence filled the steamy ensuite

She didn't know what to say "Um..."

"You don't have t say anything Manami, I know this must be a surprise right? I'd rather you just think about it"

She grabbed his arm suddenly which made the water splash to his hair

"Oops sorry" she blushed

Karma just flips his hair back ( Imagine really sexy okay)

"K..Karma...if I didn't like you, why would I agree to live with you!" She stated trying to act brave and spill her thoughts before embarrassment got the better of her

They stared deep into each others eyes, him trying to figure out if she was serious

"Promise?" he asked

"What?" Okuda was confused

"Promise to stay by my side" he said but quickly regretted it finding it cheesy and cliche and looked away in shame.

Okuda saw it as cute seeing Karma being bad at expressing his feelings; as at school he could easily express his violent side.

"If you're that cute all the time, I promise to stay with you" Okuda laughed cutely letting go of his arm

Karma looked back at her with a confused face

"Cute?" he said sarcastically

"Damn Manami, You shouldn't be calling your boyfriend cute" he retaliated

"Boyfriend?" Okuda asked blushing

"Yh, So you have to stay by my side!" Karma shouted so loud it echoed the room

"hm" Okuda played her body low to the bubbles hiding her blush

They were official! She couldn't truly believe it
