5x15: The Con

Tim and Hunter, having taken the morning off walked into Observation where one of Elijah's henchmen, Hazy, was bought in by two undercover cops. "Get off of me! This is B.S.! I didn't do anything wrong. I want my damn phone call." Hazy yelled through the mirror. 

Later, Garza joined the two of them. "Nice work. How'd the other teams do?" Garza asked Tim.

"Good, good. All five of Elijah's top lieutenants are in custody, quick and quiet, as planned." Tim replied.

"Okay. So as long as no one saw the arrests, Elijah just might believe that Abril is responsible." Garza said.

"But we can only hold them for 12 hours before we have to let them make a phone call," Tim and Hunter both turned to Garza. "Think that's enough time to spook Elijah?" Hunter asked.

"On its own, no. But we're not done turning up the heat. Turns out our murdered judge kept a diary. Laura and Brendon are on their way to jack Monica up. And I got a plane to catch." Garza walked out.

It was nighttime, Hunter, Tim and some other cops were inside a house with Celina pretending to be Daylian, Abril's girlfriend, Angela meanwhile was watching with Stensen and Acers in an FBI van, Lucy and Aaron were tailing Elijah.

"They buying it?" Hunter asked into her radio as Elijah's men were sent to stakeout the house meaning the cops were staying hidden.

"For now."

"Guys, I'm feeling a little vulnerable right now. What if they decide to start shooting?" Celina asked.

"You're doing great. Lucky for us, you're a match for our psycho killer. Now move away from the window," Celina moved to Hunter. "We got to tease them a little bit, give them that itch." She deadpanned.

Tim spoke into the radio. "Lopez, you think Elijah just sends them in once he decides it's safe?" He asked.

"No. He'll want to be here. Elijah's ego's too big to let someone else hit Abril's people for him. Alpha Team, status check."

"They're circling -- making their way closer. He's clearly checking for a tail, but we're doing multiple handoffs. It's nice to have federal resources." Lucy comments.

Eventually Elijah arrived. "Target on site." Stensen said.

"Copy. House Team in position." Tim replied.

"Here we go. They're on the move." The car stopped and then drove off a few minutes later. "It's over. All teams stand down. It's over."

Hunter and Tim sunk into the couch at Tim's house, Lexi had since moved out into her apartment, so it was just Tim, Hunter and Kojo, so the two humans and their dog were watching reruns of Monday night football which they missed.

This one was difficult to write seeing as it was about Angela going after Elijah, so I wrote what I could, so it's really short.

Also, Noah Foster appears in the next episode, far warning I don't like him in fact I hate him, so he won't exactly be like he is in the show as he went to UC school with Hunter way back in 2008/9 and he fell in love with her but she would rebuff him.
