Chapter 13

Natsu's POV

"Oi! Watch where you're going, flame brain!" Gray yelled at me. I bumped into him on purpose.

"Like I care, ice princess!" I argue back at him. We both glare at each other and then we start fighting. Eventually, the entire guild got caught up in our fight, even Erza because her cake was smashed. Lucy, Mirajane and the Master were the only ones who didn't interfere.

"Guys, can you please knock it off?" Mirajane kindly asked us all. We didn't listen and we kept fighting. Erza stopped fighting and yelled at everyone to stop.

"Everyone! Stop fighting at once!" Erza yelled. We all stopped, except for me and Gray. Erza then walked over to us and threatened us.

"Natsu and Gray! Stop your foolish fighting at once!" She yelled at us. Me and Gray immediely went to "best buddy mode" and acted as buddies.

"S-sorry Erza! W-we're friends! S-see?" Gray said as he was shaking along with me.

"A-aye!" I said, already acting like Happy. Erza smirked and walked away to enjoy some more cake. Phew! I looked back over at Gray and angrily walked away from him. I went towards Lucy.

"Natsu, is there always a reason to be fighting with Gray?" Lucy asked me, wondering why I always fight with him.

"Because I hate that bastard!" I angrily said, slamming my fist on the table.

"No, I mean do you have a reason to fight with him every single day?" She asks again.

"I have no reason! I just hate that bastard!" I said again. Lucy looks away and shrugs.

"Okay, whatever you say." She replies. She then gets up.

"Natsu, I'm going to go. I have some important things to do. See you tomorrow?" She said. I waved to her and she walked out of the guild.

Lucy's POV

I had to leave the guild early because I had some errands to do and it'll probably take me the rest of the day. I got home, unlocked my door and went upstairs. I set my things on my bed. I went to go refresh myself in the bath before I left again.

I got in the bathroom, took off all my clothes and wrapped a towel around me, turned the tub water on, and got in. I brought my knees closer to me, while I sat in the tub.

"Still though, why does he always fight with Gray besides the fact that he hates him so much." I said thinking of why Natsu fights Gray all the time without a reason.

As I was in the tub, I heard something coming from my room. It sounded like my window opening.

"Hello? Lucy, are you home?" He asked. Once I heard his voice I knew exactly who it was. It was Gray. I heard his footsteps coming to the bathroom. I panicked a little and brought my knees closer to me so he wouldn't have to see me like this.

"Uh? Oh, there you are Lucy!" He said as he walked in.

"Gray! What the hell are you doing here?!" I ask him, getting a little pissed off.

"I came here to hang out since we haven't really hung out much." He said.

"Sorry, but I have things to do so if you please, GET OUT!" I yelled. Gray didn't move at all.

"Nope. Also, what things do you have to do?" He asked me, kinda confused.

"I have errand to run. Now just please get out!" I slightly yell at him. He then leaves. Why does he have to be such a perv?! I then sigh and get out of the tub. I get dressed again and head out my door.

"First things first, I need to get some more food since a certain someone always eats my food. I got all the food I needed, payed for it and left. I then went to the bookstore because I needed to read a new book so I went there. The book I got was called "The Dragon and The Princess"

- After I did all of my errands -

I was walking home after all my errands and had Plue beside me.

"Plue, do you think that Natsu's inside my apartment again?" I ask my celestial spirit, Plue,

"Pun pun!" Was his answer.

"I agree." I reply. I knew what he said, he said "Probably."

I get to my front door and open it. When I open it, I walk upstairs to my room and look around for a pink haired dragon slayer.

"Yo, Lucy!" He said, and he made me flinch. It was Natsu.

"Don't scare me like that, Natsu!" I yell a little. He only smiles.

"Heh! Sorry! What were you doing out?" He asked me. He forgot that I told him I had things to do.

"Idiot. I told you earlier that I had things to do!" I told him. He gave me a confused look.

"Really? I don't remember that you told me." This idiot I swear.

"Ugh! Just forget it. I'm gonna go to be so could you please leave?" I ask him politely. He pouts a little.

"But I have a job that we could do and the reward is really high." He told me. I look at him.

"How much is the reward?" I ask, with curiosity. Natsu shuffles through his pocket to find the job request and pulls it out.

"The reward is 700,000 jewels." He stated. 700,000 jewels?! That's enough for 10 months rent!

"Really?! I'm in! What do we have to do?" I ask him, eager to know about the job.

"We have to decode a significant spell and it's known to be a very powerful one." He added on. Well, if it's something that's needed to be decoded, Levy could do it but I think she's busy going on jobs. I mean, I guess I could try.

"Okay, I guess I could try and decode it." I reply. Natsu grins.

"Great! We leave tomorrow morning!" He said before he left. I smiled at him before he left.

If the spell we're decoding is a really powerful spell, what would happen if something bad happens once we decode it? I ask myself before putting on my pjs and getting into bed. Let's not think about that right now. I slowly closed my eyes before I fell asleep.

Authors Note:Wow! Chapter 13 updated already! Yay! Anyway, I'm probably going to have like 7 more chapters left in this, but I might make a sequel to "Trapped in Love." I'm not sure yet.
