Chapter 2

Chapter 2: Festival Part 1*

Naruto pinned his hair up. "Mama! Look at me!" Naruto's two year old son, Boruto, said. "You very handsome, kit." Naruto said with a smile.

"Thanks, Mama! You look really pretty!" Boruto giggled. "Come on, baby. Let's go to the festival." Naruto said, picking his son up and hiding him in his kimono.

Gaara would be coming, and they were going to tell everyone about their arranged marriage. Once Naruto made it outside, he headed toward Tsunade's office.

He opened the door and saw the civilian council, Danzo, Homura, Koharu, the Sand siblings, Shizune, and Tsunade. "What are they doing here?" Naruto asked.

"They insisted on greeting Gaara." Tsunade said. "The actual question, though, is what are you doing here?" Homura asked.

"I'm supposed to be here." Naruto said with a glare. "Naruto, you can bring him out." Tsunade said. Naruto tensed up a bit, but took Boruto out of his kimono.

"Mama! Now, can we go play games?" Boruto asked excitedly. "Sorry, baby. We can't right now. Mama has to take care of some business." Naruto said to the child. Th council members stared at the two boys in shock.

"But all you're gonna do is talk about boring stuff. Can't I just go and find Papa?" Boruto asked. "One, your Papa is kind of busy. Two, you know you can't go out without being hidden, and three, you can play with Tonton." Naruto said.

"Okay, Mama!" Boruto said happily. He turned to go find Tonton, but froze in fear. "Mama, do you see it? There's a mummy!" Boruto cried out.

Naruto looked at his son in confusion. He looked to where Boruto was looking and giggled quietly. "That isn't a mummy, kit. That's a human being that I wish was dead." Naruto said cheerfully.

"So, mummy man is a bad guy?" Boruto asked. "Yes, he is." Naruto said with a smirk. "What on earth is going on?" Koharu asked. "This is Boruto Uzumaki, my two year old son." Naruto said.

"Who is the mother?" Koharu asked. "I am. I'm pregnant with his younger sister at the moment." Naruto said. "How is this possible? You are a male!" Homura exclaimed.

"I'm a jinchuuriki. The Kyuubi created a womb inside of me because of the arranged marriage that I had with another male." Naruto said. "And who is this other male?" Danzo questioned.

"That would be me." Gaara said. Boruto's eyes lit up. "Papa!" He said happily. Boruto jumped into Gaara's arms and hugged him tightly. "Hello, my child." Gaara said.

Naruto looked at the two of them with a small smile. "Granny, think we can roam free?" Naruto asked. "Yes." Tsunade said. Naruto smiled and walked over to Gaara and Boruto. The other two siblings backed away a bit to give them space.

Naruto smiled as he tickled Boruto. Gaara handed the younger blond to the older blonde. "Hey, Gaara. Wanna go get something to eat?" Naruto asked. Gaara nodded and wrapped an arm around Naruto's waist.

"Papa, Mama missed you a lot. He kept calling your name in his sleep." Boruto said. "Oh, did he now?" Gaara asked, raising an eyebrow at his fiancé.

"Boruto, keep your mouth shut." Naruto scolded lightly. "Sorry Mama." Boruto said. "It's alright." Naruto said, kissing the top of his head.

"Let's go!" Boruto exclaimed. He jumped out of Naruto's arms and made a run for it. "Get back here, kit!" Naruto yelled after him. Gaara chuckled at the two blondes.

"Stop laughing! Who knows what will happen to him." Naruto said. "Naruto, he's the son of the Fourth Hokage and Kazekage's sons. I think he'll be fine." Gaara said.

"I don't care! I'm looking for him, and you're coming with me!" Naruto yelled. He grabbed Gaara's hand and pulled him outside.

"Boruto! Where are you, kit?!" Naruto yelled through the crowds. "Naruto, calm down. We'll find him." Gaara said, pulling his fiancé into an alley.

"I know, Gaara. But I'm so scared. What if something happens to my baby?" Naruto asked as tears fell down his face. Gaara sighed and wiped Naruto's tears away. He kissed the blonde softly.

"Naruto. I'm sure Boruto is fine. He's our child. The one you brought into this world." Gaara said. "What a minute. He's our child. He's my child! I know where he is!" Naruto exclaimed.

Gaara rose an eyebrow as Naruto pulled him down the streets. They stopped at the ramen stand. Naruto opened the flaps and peered inside.

"Hey, old man! Have you seen Boruto?" Naruto asked. "He's in the back." Teuchi said. Naruto nodded and dragged Gaara to the back. "Boruto Uzumaki-Sabaku. If you ever run away like that I'll-" Naruto froze when he saw the Konoha 11 and their Senseis surrounding Boruto.

"Mama! Papa!" Boruto exclaimed. He jumped into Naruto's arms and snuggled close to him. "I'm sorry for scaring you, Mama." Boruto said quietly. 

"It's okay, kit. Although, you can't just go running off like that. Your Papa and I were worried." Naruto said. Boruto sniffled. "Sorry, Papa." He said. "It's okay, Bolt." Gaara said, ruffling the hair of the young blonde. 

"What is going on?" Kiba asked. Gaara, Naruto, and Boruto stared at the other ninjas. "I apologize. This is Boruto Uzumaki-Sabaku, my and Naruto's son." Gaara said.

"H-How is this possible?" Ino asked. "The fox inside of me created a womb. And Gaara and I had an arranged marriage. It was made when the Fourth Kazekage found out that my mother was pregnant with me." Naruto explained.

Gaara sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "Father believed that Naruto was going to be a girl. And, even after he found out Naruto was a boy, he still wanted it." He said.

"That's right! We were going to be a symbol for the alliance between Konoha and Suna. Our child would seal the deal." Naruto said with a smile.

"And, you're going through with it?" Tenten asked. "Tenten's right. Do you two actually love each other?" Choji asked. 

Naruto and Gaara rose an eyebrow. "Of course we love each other." Naruto said. Gaara wrapped an arm around his lover's waist. 

"We should get going, love." Gaara said. "Okay, sweetheart. We'll see you guys around."
