Chapter 27: Meeting Sif

00:43, 13 August 2018

Elizabeth's P.O.V.

I woke up to Loki's soft snoring. I wiggled my way out of his arms and went to his closet to see what I was to wear. I found another green dress made of silk. It had a black top and a green skirt that flowed out. I put on some emerald jewelry and my crown. I found some black heels. My make up was in a natural style so I looked normal. I curled my hair and put it in a half updo.

I was all ready for the day, and still had about forty minutes before facing Odin again at breakfast. I decided to read until Loki gets up. I grabbed on of his many random books and started reading it. The book was mostly about wars and death. It was gruesome, but decent. I was about one quarter into the book when Loki stirred awake. He stretched and sat up. His hair was a complete mess.

"About time you woke up." I said.

"Well not all of us are morning people love, besides I was up much later than you were." He replied.

"Just get ready we have to be at breakfast soon."

"Oh, is there a sequel to last nights showdown?" I rolled my eyes at him. "Face it love, as much as you wish for Odin to approve your choice, he won't. He is a stubborn old man who believes that everyone is wrong except for him."

"Even if you are right Loki, he just has to accept the fact that I am to be married to you instead of Thanos. Now stop procrastinating and get dressed or we'll be late."

"As you wish love." As soon as Loki said that a cloud of green smoke surrounded him and he was dressed in his Asgardian armor and his hair was slicked back into its usual style. "Now we can go."

"About time." I said. Loki took my hand and walked me down to the dinning room. When we got there the room was completely full. Everyone was there but Frigga and Odin. Loki pulled out my chair and let me sit down as he took the seat to my left. For breakfast there was eggs, ham, bacon, bread, crêpes, milk, some weird fruit juices, jam, toast, and fruits of every kind. I started filling my plate up and made a small pile. Loki and I ate properly, while most of the others shoved as much food as they could into their mouths. I was wondering how they were even allowed at the table. About half way through my meal I saw a women with long black hair. She wore silver and red armor and had dark brown eyes.

"Excuse me but I don't believe I have every met you. Who are you?" She asked me.

"I am Princess Elizabeth." I replied.

"I am Sif of the Warrior three."

"Tis an honor to meet you Lady Sif, I've seen you on the battlefield."

"How could you see me on the battlefield?"

"I was known as the shadowed wolf on the battlefield."

"You were the shadowed wolf! The one who has help us win battles that were practically impossible. You gave everyone hope and helped us win countless battles. Without you and your magic we would've all perished." Said Sif. This caught Loki's attention.

"I did not know that you fought alongside Asgard, or any battle." Loki said.

"Well, you've never asked. Besides, how else do you think Asgard and I have alliances we help each other through battles. Even though we have yet to have a battle on my side." I said.

"Loki, how do you know her?" Sif asked.

"We met on Midgard through the Avengers and Thor. I am very close with one of the Avengers and I got to meet Loki and Thor through them, however I have met Odin and Frigga hundreds of times." I replied.

"Oh, I see. Well, the warrior three and I are going to train if you wish to join us Elizabeth."

"I would be delighted."

"Great, meet us in the courtyard in an hour. Till then." Sif said.

"Ok, bye." I said. I turned my attention back on my food but could feel someone staring at me. I look up and see Loki staring at me with an eyebrow raised.

"You can't be serious?" He said

"What?"

"Training with the Sif and the Warrior three will get you injured. Why can't you just hang out somewhere safer and out of danger for one week."

"Loki, what's life without a little danger?" I said as I got up. I started to make my way back to Loki's room to get ready to train with Sif and the warrior three. Once in the room, I look in the closet for something that I can train in. I go through the whole closet and can't find a single thing that would work. All Loki gave me were dresses, heels or flats, and jewelry. I needed an outfit that would protect me and strike fear into my opponents eyes. I decide to use my magic. I conjure up my old armor that was left at a HYDRA facility when my father, Red Skull, was using me as an assassin with the Winter soldier. I never did find out what happened to him, but he was really nice when he wasn't brainwashed. I put on my outfit. It was perfect and still fit like a glove.

I still love it. I was just about to walk out of the room and go meet up with Sif when Loki walked in. He looked at me head to toe.

"No. You are not going to fight especially wearing that." He said.

"What? Why not?" I said.

"Because, I said so. Also wearing that could cause some unwanted attention."

"Well, I don't care. I'm going to fight like this because I want to and because you haven't given me anything to wear but dresses. I need armor to fight."

"You shouldn't fight just because. They are fighting and training for war. What are you fighting for.... nothing, you are fighting just to fight."

"No, I am fighting to train for a war. I am training for a war that Thanos may cause, or a war that the avengers will have to stop. Loki, the avengers are my family and I have to protect them no matter what."

"Ok, but be careful."

"I always am." I say as I walk out the door and make my way to the courtyard.
