Chapter 30: When Im with you, Im the happiest

A few months went by, and Gichii and Sane were read for their wedding. Sane picked out a ring for both Gichii and himself. Gichii had a bright smile as he got dressed, his hair tied into a nice braided bun, by his close friend, Mitsuri. Shinobu and him had made up, and he apologized for always pushing her away. She helped Gichii chose his outfit with a soft smile, happy for her friend.

Sane put his trust into Uzui and Obanai, (I CHANGED THEIR NAMES AGAIN IK THEY USED TO BE SMTH ELSE BUT I FORGOT 😭) They finally decided to collaborate together for once, and they actually chose a nice outfit for Sane.

They fixed his hair, "You're all set, Sane." Obanai said, patting his shoulder, smiling at the taller male, Sane returned the smile, biting at the skin on his lip, excitement flowing throughout his body. After a while, both Sane and Gichii were ready, all the guests were seated, Sane was walked down the aisle by Shizu, he waited for Gichii to arrive, a smile plastered on his face.

Music began to play a sweet melody as Gichii walked down, a wide smile on his face as he was walked down by Shinobu, and some of Sanes siblings as the flower girls. When Gichii stopped in front of Sane, he smiled again, which was quickly returned by the taller one.

"Dearly Beloved, we are gathered here today in the presence of these witnesses, to join Sane and Gichii in matrimony commended to be honorable among all; and therefore is not to be entered into lightly but reverently, passionately, lovingly and solemnly." The Commissioner said, (blah blah blah (I've never been to a wedding)) When the commissioner finished his saying, Sane started with his vows, "Gichii. You've been there for me since I can remember, we've had our ups and downs, but no matter what happened you stayed by my side. I enjoy waking up and being greeted by you—I'm glad this day has come, being able to stay with you forever." Sane said, Gichiis eyes watering as a happy smile widened on his face, Gichii took a few seconds, taking a deep breath "Sane," Gichii started "This moment means so much to me. You make me happy, genuinely. We've been through tough times, but, we always managed to push through them, and together. You stayed with me, even if I acted out, you've comforted me, stuck up for me, and helped me. You helped me in any way you possibly could, so, to be here in this moment, is really something I wouldn't have ever been able to imagine." Gichii said, as a a few people began to tear up.

Genya then walked down the aisle, a happy smile on his face as the rings were held carefully in his hands, he walked up to the two, stopping just a few inches away, allowing them to grave their rings, Gichii extended out his left hand, allowing Sane to slide the ring on his finger, Gichii returned the action, holding back his tears.

The commissioner turned his head towards Sane "Sane, do you take Gichii to be your lawful husband (I forgot)?" He asked "I do." Sane said, his heart fluttering as he stared at Gichii, "Gichii, do you take Sane as your lawful husband?" He asked, "I do." Gichii quickly answered, "I pronounce you husband and husband (or whatever the hell you say because yes)." The commissioner said, Sane smiled, pulling Gichii into a kiss, Gichii quickly returned it, placing his hand on Sane's cheek.

The crowed cheered as a few cried, music playing lowly in the background. Gichii eventually pulled away from the kiss, Shizu ran up to the two, happy tears running down her face as she hugged them, "Look at you two, I can't believe your married," She smiled "it feels like just yesterday you guys were high schoolers." She finished as she wiped her tears "You're all grown now." She giggled ruffling Sanes hair, "I'm glad," She paused, looking at Gichii, "Thank you, Gichii, for always being there for Sane." She finished, earning an appreciative smile from the both of them.

"I'm glad you think so good about me, Shizu." Gichii smiled as Sane nodded in agreement, she returned the smile "You both look so handsome." She complimented. They talked for a bit before Shizu went off, deciding to get a couple drinks. More people began to talk to them, after a while, they decided to cut the cake, Gichii held the knife, Sane placing his hand on top of his, making a clean cut down the two-tier cake, and then another, people clapped when they finished.

Everyone just hung out for a while, talking and eating, eventually, the final dance came, and Gichii dragged Sane to the floor, (OMFGGG PASILYO WOULD BE SUCH A GOOD SONG CONSIDERING ITS LITERALLY ABT TS😭😭) Sane didn't retaliate, wrapping his arm around Gichiis waist, intertwining their fingers as they began to dance, their feet shuffling under them, Gichii glanced over, telling people to dance as well, some hesitated, others got up and danced as well.

A few hours went by, and they stopped, giving one last speech "Thank you all for joining us today; on this special occasion even. I wouldn't have thought this day would've come, but, I'm glad it did. I want to thank someone, Shizu Shinazugawa, thank you for all you've done. For helping me. You've supported me no matter what, even when things were rough. I appreciate it, tons. Im happy to say you're now my mother in law. Again, thank you." Gichii said a soft smile pasted on his face. Immediately, Shizu began to laugh, happy tears streaming down her face, she quickly wiped them. Thanking him.

"And as the rest of you, I thank you too, Im happy you've all made it here today, you all had an impact in my life, and I can't thank you for everything you've done for me." Gichii finished as a small wail was heard, it was Mitsuri, she smiled brightly, Shinobu desperately trying to calm her down, Gichii laughed, handing the microphone to Sane, "Im happy you've all made it, I don't think anything could've been better, just having you all here means a lot to me. Im appreciative that you all tried your best to help me and Gichii in any way you were able to. We couldn't have had this big celebration without any of your collaboration. Thank you." Sane said.

They stepped down as people clapped for the nth time, Mitsuri approached the two, hugging them tightly "You're so sweet!!!" She exclaimed, Gichii laughing lightly as he calmed her down again, Shinobu peeked behind her, a pure smile on her face as well. Gichii returned the smile, waving happily at her, "Hey love birds~" She hummed, quickly starting a conversation between the four of them. They talked for a while, before the wedding was eventually coming to an end.

They all wrapped it up, bidding each other goodbye, after many hugs and goodbyes, the place fell silent, cleaned and emptied.

Gichii and Sane got into their car, their fingers intertwined eighth one another when Sane drove off. And now, they were headed to their honeymoon destination.
