Ashlyn's pov:

Ash, Maya, and Liam spent the entire morning planning for that night's meeting. Their goal was to terrify whoever the Avengers sent to meet with her. They all agreed that it was best if she used the same appearance she used when she met Hawkeye, but that she would also wear a mask so they couldn't do any form of facial recognition. She watched through the camera she had set up the day before as Bucky Barnes disguised as a normal civilian walked into the abandoned clothing store.

"It's Bucky Barnes, the Winter Soldier." Maya's voice rang from the comm in her ear disguised as an earring.

"Ready for my awesome entrance?" Ash smirked as she hopped off her motorcycle.

"Don't mess this up, Ash."

"Are you doubting me?" Ash asked in mock offense and Maya chuckled.

"Just be careful please."

"I always am."

As Ash approached the front door of the building, she pressed the button on her belt which made the lights in the building flicker slightly (for dramatic effect). As she walked through the doors, her heels made soft clicking noises on the concrete floor. Bucky looked up when he heard the girl enter and he looked her dead in the eye. Ash moved her gaze slightly to Bucky's right ear and noticed a small comm there, she moved her gaze to the top of his shirt and noticed a small black speck that could very possibly be a camera, and she couldn't help but smirk slightly to herself, this should be fun.

"Are you The Emerald Assassin?" Bucky's voice was low and dark. She could tell that he was trying to intimidate her. Ash nodded once slowly, still not taking her gaze away from Bucky's eyes.

Bucky's pov:

Bucky watched as the girl slowly nodded once. He couldn't help but admit to himself that with the flickering flights and the way she was just staring at him he was a little bit terrified. He could hear the voices of his teammates from the comm in his ear and silently cursed them for talking so much.

"Damn why she staring like that?" Sam's voice could be heard from the other side of the comm

"Shut up Wilson"

"Look me in the eye and tell me that this isn't freaking you out."

"Boys, pay attention please."

"Right, sorry"

"Bucky, ask her about the mission," Nat suggested.

"I want you to bring in the Black Widow," Bucky said slowly and waited for her reaction. The girl simply nodded once. He wasn't sure what he was expecting, but it certainly wasn't that.

"Can you do it?" He asked skeptically, trying to get her to give some kind of other reaction.

"Are you doubting me?" Her voice was calm and she didn't sound angry but he could hear the threat behind her words.

"Of course not," he said quickly but she just looked at him.

"Tomorrow, same time, same place, bring the money" With that the girl turned on her heel and walked out of the building.

"Ok Sam I agree, she's terrifying," Clint said to the comms and he heard Tony agree.

"Good job Buck, head back now and we can come up with another plan." Bucky sighed and turned off his comm. He wasn't sure what it was about her, but he had a bad feeling about what they were doing.

Ashlyn's pov:

Ash, Liam, and Maya had spent the last hour and a half laughing about how stupid the Avengers were.

"Ash.... now you have to catch the Black Widow." Maya said, starting to worry.

"Relax M, it'll be a piece of cake."

"Actually Ash, I have something that could help you," Liam spoke up from his spot on the couch where he was watching TV.

"I was going to give it to you on your birthday but I think now is as good a time as any." Liam stood up and ran to his room to collect something. He came back seconds later with a small box.

"This is what I like to call, the Zapperdoodle," Liam announced with a proud grin on his face.

Ash thanked him and opened the box. Inside were two small black metal discs that had blue streaks going across the sides."What does it do?" Ash asked as she took the discs out of the box and examined them.

"You attach them to your palms and whenever you need to, you rub them together to create a kind of electric force. It would knock anyone out." Liam said proudly.

"That's awesome man!" Ash exclaimed as she placed the discs on the palms of her hand and rubbed them together. She could feel the electric current and see the stands of electricity between the palms of her hands.

"That is so cool!" Ash stood up and rubbed her palms together again which stopped the electricity flowing between her hands.

"I think for the Black Widow fight I'm going to mostly use invisibility, she won't even see it coming."

"Are you sure? You might get too tired." Maya said in a worried tone. Ash thought about it for a minute. Her powers included turning invisible and blending in with her backgrounds, but it took a lot more energy from her than shifting usually would.

"I'll be fine. If I get too tired to keep fighting then I'll just use these." She held up her hands to show the small discs still on her palms. Maya nodded and kept typing on her laptop. She was hacking into Stark towers to find where the Black Widow would be. Ash knew that this was all a trap and that wherever the Black Widow would be is where the Avengers hoped to catch Ash.

Avenger's pov:

Bucky had arrived back at the tower an hour ago and now the Avengers were sitting in the living room trying to come up with a plan of how they were going to capture this girl.

"What if we all come at her at once?" Tony suggested as he took another sip of coffee.

"I don't think we need to do that," Steve said.

"Just try and knock her out Nat, don't kill her please," Clint said giving Nat a slightly pointed look

"Maybe the rest of us can be nearby just in case," Bucky added.

"She seemed oddly confident about taking down an Avenger, she's either really good or even more cocky than Tony." Sam pointed out.

"HEY!" Tony glared at Sam who just shrugged.

"How is she planning on finding Nat anyways?" Steve questioned.

"Is there somewhere you go every day?" Clint asked Nat.

"Well, I go down to the coffee shop almost every morning," Nat replied.

"Great! So that's most likely where she will try to get you." Tony said.

"Can we just think this out real quick?" Bruce piped out. "That guy Robbie was like dead scared of this girl, let's not underestimate her please." He pleaded, looking around the group.

"Relax green man, she's practically a kid, how much harm can she really do?" Tony said as he walked out of the room to get more coffee.

---(time skip)---

Natasha's pov:

Nat was walking down the street on her way to the coffee shop. She had a comm in her ear and a camera on her jacket that was covering her suit. She knew that Bucky was stationed in the coffee shop already and that Steve was a few blocks away in case she needed assistance, but she didn't think anything of it. She started getting suspicious as she was nearing the coffee shop and nothing was happening. Maybe the girl didn't know about her daily coffee trip visits?

"I don't think she's coming," Clint said into the comm.

"Just give her a minute, she might still show up," Steve responded. Nat entered the coffee shop looking as unsuspicious as she could. She ordered her normal coffee like she usually does and sat down at the table in the back. She drank her coffee calmly looking around the coffee shop for anything that was out of place. People came into the shop and left and Nat examined each of them. First, there was a bald man who came in with his wife, then there were two boys who came in and ordered hot chocolates. There was also a teenage girl with dark brown hair and brown eyes who came in and sat down at a table, but Nat dismissed each one. As Nat finished her drink, she stood up and calmly walked to the door. As she left the shop she looked around but the streets seemed the same as they always did. As she was walking back toward the tower she felt slightly disappointed that the girl didn't make an appearance, Nat was itching to get into a fight.

"Yeah, she's not coming," Nat said into the comms Stark Towers came into view. She heard the others agreeing with her.

"Just meet back here and we can make another plan." she heard Steve say. Nat turned off her comm and camera as she crossed the street so that she was only a few buildings away from Stark Towers. All of a sudden something caught her eye and she turned to face an empty alleyway where there was a single soda can rolling on the ground. However, there was nobody in sight. Nat walked closer to the alleyway looking up and down the walls but the ally was deserted. Nat took another step toward the soda can and picked it up.

She was about to dismiss the whole situation and turn back to leave the alleyway, when all of a sudden something collided with her stomach and she was sent flying back, hitting the wall and falling to the ground. Nat stood up quickly and got into her fighting stance. She looked around but nobody was there. Nat took a few more steps farther into the alleyway and stopped when she felt something behind her. Nat jumped out of the way just as the bullet went flying past her right ear. She turned around and saw the brown-haired brown-eyed girl from the coffee shop.

"Who are you kid?" Nat spoke out but the girl just smirked at her. Before Nat would say anything else, the girl started changing forms, and in her spot stood the blonde-haired blue-eyed girl that Clint had seen at the Hydra base.

"I assume you've been, waiting for me?" she smirked as Nat's eyes widened slightly.
