Smg4 Fanfiction: Crystal Splezter - Mario and the experiment

Plot: As the gang face troubles on the path to anime island, rivals must become allies to survive.

Meggy and Axol stared back at eachother for what felt like days, annoying the Anime creation as Meggy had stopped moving.

Axol: Uhh...hi?

Meggy: You're locked up too? I thought you were making all these anime characters!

???: Oh, please!

Meggy turned in shock towards the voice, the cause behind all the anime drawings. Inkweaver clasped in his giant green scaly hand, it was...

FRANCIS!!!

Francis: That disappointment doesn't have the courage to do what I have done!

Meggy: Francis!!!! How could you do this to us? Axol even lifted the Anime ban for you guys!

Francis: By singing some dumb song to a princess? Eck! He doesn't deserve this Sexy power!!!!!

He dropped some paper on the ground and used Inkweaver. Before Meggy's very eyes, Mewtwo appeared out of thin air, sparking orange.

Francis: I'm going to use Inkweaver the way it's supposed to.

Axol: You'll never harness the power of my pen!

Francis: I'd watch your tone if I were you prisoner. Remember who your cellmate is?

Francis snapped his fingers and a small cell dropped from the ceiling above Axol. Stopping just a few feet away from his head, Meggy was shocked and relieved to see who it was.

Meggy: Crystal!!!

Crystal: Huh...? Wha-?? Oh, Mommy!!

Crystal smiled as she held herself up with the bars. Both Mother and daughter were so happy to see one another, before Meggy noticed her condition. She looked exhausted, hungry and tired. Without the bars, she could barely stand. She turned with rage to Francis, fighting her chains.

Meggy: Let her go or break every part of your scaly face!!!

Francis: I sincerely hope you watch your mouth...

Mewtwo clasped his hand together. In the cell, Axol felt his throat constrict as he gasped for air. At the same time, the corners of Crystal's small cell began to implode. She whined in fear as Meggy reached desperately through the gates.

Meggy: No, No! Not her, neither of them, please!!! I'll do whatever you want, just stop!!!

Francis laughed as Mewtwo released his grip. As Axol gasped for air and Crystal looked at her slightly squished cell, Francis left the room and Meggy was forced to follow.

Crystal: Mommy! Mommy, don't go! I'm scared!

Meggy: It's gonna be fine Sunshine! Just hang on!

And with that, the wall got in the way and she lost eye contact with both of them.

Meggy entered Francis's secret chamber. Several pieces of technology and multiple pipes were linked to a giant glass tank In the centre.

Meggy: Do you like the operation I have going on? By my estimate, we must have captured half of Inkopalis by now and all their ink is being extracted and stored. With it, I've managed to get Inkweaver here powered up to 70%!

Meggy: You're seriously messed up...

Francis: Thank you so much!

Meggy: You're kidnapping people, including my Daughter, just to draw some stupid Cartoons!

Francis laughed, getting really close to Meggy's face.

Francis: Oh, my plan goes far beyond that...

(Cue cheesy presentation music)

Francis: Presenting the ink zuccer 2000! With its voluptuous storage size, 16 inch tempered glass...and it's strength higher than any other machine!

He went to a blackboard to draw his plan.

Francis: With one very special inkling, I'll be able to use the ink Zucc machine to harvest all their ink...and completely power Inkweaver up to 100%!!! And then...I can finally...Have my own island full of Waifus!!!

He cheered in excitement until he got too close to Meggy, who swiftly kicked him in the face.

Francis: A Little fight in you...I like that. Mewtwo!

Mewtwo grabbed Meggy with telekinesis and lifted her towards the machine.

Francis: And this toughness is exactly why I think you're the perfect candidate for this experiment. Only you are strong enough to handle the ink Zuccer 2000.

The hatch on top opened as Meggy inched closer to it...

In desperation, she called out for help...

Meggy: Mario! Tari! Saiko! Where are you guys?!

Mario: Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?

Mario impatiently waited for them to arrive at Anime island, Annoying Smg4 and Luigi. Meanwhile, Chris wished for death as Bob and Swag did a sing along to a pirate song. Away from it all, Tari and Saiko looked over the seas.

Tari: What if...what if we never find Meggy and Crystal? There's...so much I have left to say.

Saiko: Don't...don't say that...I promise you we'll find them both and everything will be back to normal!

Tari:.......You're right. We're coming for you guys!

Mario asked again and again if they were their yet, finally pissing off Smg4 to no end. He leaped and started Choking Mario in a futile attempt to make him shut up.

(Zap!)

The murder attempt was broken up as a towering figure loomed over the boat. Everyone screamed and panicked. The Godzilla had returned.

Smg4: He's back! We'll get him this time!!!

Everyone geared up, ready to fight and destroy this monster.

Mario: Aw shet, here we go again...

Saiko: You boys think you can keep up?

Swag stared off into the sea, metal club at the ready.

Swag: I never thought one day I'd be fighting alongside Anime...Chris, I don't know how to feel about this...

His answer was simple.

Chris: Shut up and fight with the Anime woman already.

Saiko and Swag leapt into action with their melee weapons, swinging at the monster. Saiko was knocked away easily, while Swag was forced to retreat when wild swinging didn't work.

Mario, Luigi and Smg4 manned the cannons, but the cannonballs did nothing to it. Godzilla swung his fist and hit the deck, narrowly missing Mario and Luigi but sending Smg4 flying.

Bob: Smg4! I got you homie!

Bob threw one of his waifu pillows to cushion Smg4's fall. It effect was minor.

Bob: 2D boobies save the day again!

Tari took manual control of a cannon, but couldn't land a shot.

Tari: Nothing's working! We need something stronger!

Smg4: We don't have anything stronger!!!

Godzilla was angered, raising his fist to smash Tari as she cowered in fear.

Boopkins: Tari, no! Move!

Boopkins barely shoved her out of the way before the blow hit him, sending him flying.

Tari: Boopkins!!

Then suddenly, as all hope seemed lost...

The very ocean began to rumble. People turned to see the cause, even the Godzilla monster was confused.

Then from the ocean rose Boopkins, accompanied by his Godzilla sized father.

Bob: I've seen enough henti to know where this is going.

Boopkins: Boopkins is back baby!

The ultimate giant sea monster fight...was about to begin.

Meggy squirmed and kicked against Mewtwo's telekinetic grip, but he was too strong.

Francis: Hurry up and drop her in!

Mewtwo hovered Meggy even closer to the zuccer, making her scared.

But at that moment, everyone stopped as an anime Pikachu and Mike brought the captive Desti into the room.

Desti: Man...you idiots really need an interior designer...and some deodorant.

Meggy: D-Desti?!

Francis: Ooooo, you brought the octoling! Bring her up here!

Desti looked at Meggy with sorrow, her hands in cuffs.

Meggy: Desti, I can't believe they got you too.

Desti: Well actually, I came here to rescue you and your kid...and that's exactly what I'm going to do!

Desti put her plan into action, jumping up and knocking Francis back into the wall with a flying kick. Mewtwo dropped Meggy on the floor, turning to blast Desti with an energy ball.

She easily dodged, using the blast to destroy her cuffs and running past the Pokemon to grab Meggy. They both jumped to the floor and ran.

Francis: Get after them you Baka's!

They made a run down the large hallway, being chased by Desti's former guards.

Desti: Yo! Where's the exit!?

Meggy: Even if I knew, I'm not leaving without Crystal!

Desti: We'll grab her before-Wait, what do you mean you have no idea? You've been here for days!

Meggy: You think I had a chance to relax and sight see? I've been a prisoner, not a tourist.

The guards found them, shooting with lasers and guns.

Desti: Crap!! Come on, this way!

They ran through the nearest door, shutting the door until they realised they were in a storage locker.

Meggy: Ah crap, we're trapped in here!

Desti: Ummm...uhhhh...

Desti panicked, turning into her squid for, and wondering why Meggy wasn't doing the same.

Desti: Why aren't you turning into squid form?!

Meggy: I can't, these chains are stopping me!

Desti turned back, trying to think...

Desti: God dammit...uhhhhhh...

Before they could think of something, they heard clinking by the door. The anime drawings were coming in.

When they walked in however, all they found was a seemingly empty room. Out of options, the pair had stuffed themselves in the corner locker.

As the 2 guards searched the room, Meggy poked her eye into the keyhole to check if they were still their when the Pikachu appeared right before the door.

Fearing they'd been outed, Meggy raised her hands while Desti covered her mouth. Thankfully, neither guards thought to look in the locker and left. Relived, the two rivals fell out the locker and onto the floor.

Desti: Ugh...I guess we'll just stay here for a while...

Desti fiddled which her tentacles and found a hair clip. (Not asking why inklings or Octolings need them)

Desti: Let me get those cuffs off...

She used the clip to unlock the cuffs, making them hit the ground as Meggy rubbed her wrists.

Meggy: Uh...thanks?...But...why are you helping me? I thought you hated me...

Desti: Oh, I still hate you.

Meggy: Oh...

Desti: But I want you humiliated, not dead.

Desti grabbed a broomstick for a weapon.

Desti: And to be honest, I do have a soft spot for kids.

Meggy: Then why all the insults?

Desti: I was insulting you, not the kid.

She tossed Meggy the broomstick.

Meggy: Gee, thanks...

Desti: Your welcome, now let's move.

Desti poked her head into the hallway, seeing the guards were still there.

Desti: We gonna get your kid and then get out of here so we can meet up with your friends.

Meggy: My friends are coming?

Desti closed the door to remain sneaky.

Desti: Yep. They're sailing to this island as we speak...We would have come sooner, but Mario had to load the whole boat with food first...

Meggy:...yeah...that sounds about right...

They both shared a laugh over that.

Desti: Hey, I just gotta ask...

Meggy: Yeah?

Desti: Why'd you...have a kid at your age?

Meggy's face was stunned, then slightly irritated.

Meggy: It wasn't by choice.

Desti: Oh. I just don't get why you care so much about the little twerp?

Meggy: I didn't know Mario until she was 2 months old. The whole year before that...my life was hell. But then when she was born, she became my one bright light in a world of darkness. My little Sun-

Desti: Yeah, I know the nickname. Your friend Tari never shuts up.

Meggy laughed.

Then they heard a vent from above, sounds of crying followed by angry yelling from someone else.

Desti! What's that?

Meggy: It's Axol and Crystal! Cmon, we've gotta find them!

In the cell room, Francis's cartel friends were playing with Crystal's cell, knocking it back and forth like a piñata. She screamed in fear.

Axol: Leave the little one alone! She's done nothing to you!

One of them simply slapped Axol to shut him up. Both laughing, they suddenly went silent as two bodies were heard dropping behind them.

Crystal: Mommy!

Crystal's excitement was met as they turned around and were met with a broomstick swing that sent them flying into the wall. Axol laughed.

Axol: Ah yes, good. You took advantage of me distracting them...like I intended.

Neither girls were convinced. While Desti searched the cartel member's pockets for the key, Meggy ran and lowered Crystal's cage further to the ground. As soon as she could, she hugged the cage.

Meggy: Oh Crystal, Mommy missed you so much!

Crystal: I missed you too!

She reached through the cage, checking her face.

Meggy: Are you okay, did they hurt you?! Anything broken, bruised?

Crystal: No, I'm just...very hungry...

Meggy: Shh, don't worry sweetie. We'll get you out of here and you can have all the candy you want-

Desti: Uh, Meggy? We've got an innocent guy in chains here.

Meggy came back to reality, regaining some of her composure. Taking the key from Desti's hand, she unlocked Axol from his chains.

Desti: I guess I owe you an apology for telling everyone you kidnapped these two.

Axol: Why would I do such a thing? You guys are my friends! Besides, having this little one as a cellmate helps liven things up.

Meggy: That's my girl...

Suddenly, the alarms went off and several cartel members were crowding outside the door.

Axol: Uhh...I'm pretty useless without Inkweaver...can you girls manage that many-

Desti: Hey Meggy, I bet I can take out more than you can.

Meggy: Pfft. In your dreams.

As Axol and Crystal cheered them both on, They leapt forward to start kicking ass.

...

Boopkins sat on his dad's shoulder as he stared off against Godzilla.

Boopkins: That's him dad! He's being very mean to me and my friends.

Boopkins dad grumbled something in response, before the two monsters stared each-other Down. Once Joe hit the first strike, it was time to fight.

Engaging in a fistfight, Joe was knocked back into the water by Godzilla's tail, but jumped right back to kick him in the face.

Boopkins: Yay! You got him dad!

Infuriated, Godzilla noticed Mug-man flying up in his plane. Grabbing him out of the sky, he threw the poor cup and his plane as a projectile towards Joe. The impact sent him on his back in a daze.

Boopkins: Oh no, no! Dad! Get up, please!

Godzilla somehow spawned a gun and prepared to kill them both.

Saiko: He needs help! Launch all we have!

Chris and Swag unloaded every last cannon on the ship, but not one cannonball had any effect. Mario ordered the next to fire, but it got jammed. When he went inside to check, he got shot out instead.

Mario went flying through the air, landing on Godzilla's eye. This scared the monster long enough for Joe to get back to his feet.

Boopkins: Go dad! Now's your chance!

Using his only shot, Joe landed some mega-super fast punches onto Godzilla that won the fight. Mario jumped back onto the boat just in time as Joe punched Godzilla into the sky, vanishing into thin air.

With the danger over, Joe put Boopkins back down on the boat.

Boopkins: Oh, thanks dad. I'll see you back home when I'm finished saving my friends, okay?

Joe: (Monster language)

Boopkins: Yes dad, I finished my homework already.

He put an ice cream down for his son.

Boopkins: Oh hey, thank you. Thanks dad!

Patting Boopkins on the head, he put an ice bag on his own head before sinking back into the ocean. Mario got back up, clearly disoriented.

Mario: Ooooo-okay...onto...animoo island....

He pointed outwards, but Luigi turned him in the right direction. Aall turned and saw an island in the distance. Saiko had hope.

Saiko: We're coming Meggy, you and Crystal just hold on a little longer.

...

Axol hid behind the wall as another goons was knocked aside into the wall, Crystal clapping.

Desti: How many you on?

Meggy: Eight.

Desti: Same...

She turned and saw one last goon, terrified for his life.

Desti: I guess this is the tiebreaker.

They moved to get the last guy-

(BAM!!!)

When a beam of energy hit them, almost turning them into Calamari and knocking them unconscious.

Crystal: Mommy!

Axol: Fish girls!

Crystal ran to Meggy to try and wake her up, while Axol turned to the laughter down the hall. There he saw Francis, standing behind a version of Goku with yellow hair.

Axol: Super Saiyan Goku? You've gotten Inkweaver to 70% already?!

Francis: You know it, Axol boy. And just imagine what I can achieve with the ink from these two...maybe the child can be of some use as well...

Crystal: Leave us alone you big green meanie!

Francis: Maybe I could even achieve...SUPER...SAIYAN...GOD.

Axol: Not with my pen you won't!

Axol leaped in front of Goku, striking a fighting pose...

(Wham!)

Only to get knocked out cold with one punch.

...

When he awoke, Axol found himself locked to roller, bound in chains as a metal mask was placed on his lower face. Desti and Crystal were nearby, Desti locked in chains and Crystal trapped in a small cell.

Francis: Wakey, wakey! The show's about to start!!!

Goku hovered above the zuccer, Meggy unconscious in his hand as Francis watched with Mewtwo.

Francis: Waifu island, here we come!!!

Crystal: Mommy! Mommy, no, wake up!

Desti: Let her go!!!

Francis agreed, a very poor choice of words on Desti's part.

As Goku let go and let Meggy drop into the zuccer, the whole world seemed to slow down.

The last thing Meggy knew was the sound of Crystal screaming out for her...before the hatch closed above her...

From here, her fate was up to her friends...
