*Alyssa's p.o.v*

Today was the day that I was meeting Ashton's girlfriend, Zoe. I wasn't going to lie, I was seriously nervous about it - I mean I didn't know how serious the two of them were but if me and Zoe didn't get along, then me living here in Australia would never work out.

*Ashton's p.o.v*

Today was the day that Alyssa was meeting Zoe and I couldn't tell you how excited I was. I loved Zoe with all my heart and she was one of the most important people in my life, apart from my family. I could tell that Zoe and Alyssa were going to be the closest of friends.

*Alyssa's p.o.v*

Seeing as I didn't know anything about Zoe, I decided to ask Ashton some questions when we were getting ready that morning.

"Ash?" I began

"Yeah?" Ashton replied, grinning at me

"Tell me a bit about Zoe?" I asked

"Like what?" Ash said

"I don't know, what she looks like, where you met, stuff like that!" I replied

"Um, well she's English, she has long dark brown hair, brown eyes and slightly tanned skin," Ashton said

"How come she's tanned?" I asked, confused

"Well, she is English, but only three quarters English. The other quarter is Filipino," Ashton explained

"Ohh, right, I get ya!" I replied

"C'mon, we should probably get dressed," Ashton said

"Yeah," I agreed.

As I was in the bathroom putting on my makeup, I was thinking about what Ash had told me about Zoe. I remembered when I had first heard about Ash and the band and how I had listened to a song. One that I distinctly remembered was a song called "English Love Affair". I ran into mine and Ashton's bedroom, to find Ash lying on his bed, on his phone. He looked up when I came in.

"Hey," Ashton said, grinning

"Hey, so, um, quick question..."

"Yeah?"

"Um, who wrote English Love Affair?"

"Well, I wrote the words and Luke wrote the music. Why?"

"I was wondering if..."

"If it was written about Zoe?"

"Yeah, how did you know?"

"Twin telepathy..."

"So, is it about her?"

"Yeah, it is!"

"So why is it called English Love Affair if it wasn't just an affair?"

"Well basically, it was going to be an affair - it sounds bad but we both agreed that since I would be on tour it would just be easier like this. However, as we spent more time together, we fell in love,"

"Awh, that's so cute! But I still don't understand why it's called what it is!"

"Well when me and Zoe were first in a relationship, we had to keep it hidden from the fans,"

"Why?"

"To stop Zoe getting hate from fans,"

"Ohh, right! But the fans know now right?"

"Yeah, they do!"

"Okay. How long have you been going out?"

"We've been going out for 11 months, but officially for 10 months,"

"It's almost been a year then!"

"Yeah, it has!"

Just then, the doorbell rang.

"That'll be Zoe! Come on, you'll love her!"

Me and Ash walked downstairs together. I was excited but my stomach was in knots; I really hoped this would work out!

*Ashton's p.o.v*

I was so excited to see Zoe again and I hoped and wished and prayed that she and Alyssa would get along. I opened the door and their was Zoe, grinning at me. We threw our arms around each other and stood, embraced on the doorstep.

"I missed you so much!" Zoe laughed

"I missed you too!" I mumbled into her hair. "There's someone I want you to meet!" I pulled away

"Zoe, this is my twin sister Alyssa,"

*Alyssa's p.o.v*

Wow, Zoe looked cool! She was wearing a cute little red and white sundress, huge sunglasses on her head like a hairband. She was wearing sandals on her feet and was carrying a brown leather handbag on her arm. I suddenly felt really underdressed next to her - I was wearing a Ramones T-shirt and denim shorts.

"Zoe, this is my twin sister, Alyssa!" I heard Ash say

"Hiya! It's so great to finally meet you!" Zoe cried and pulled me in for a hug too. I was surprised but I hugged back, saying that it was great to meet her too. Zoe pulled away from me.

"You like the Ramones?!" She cried, grinning at me

"Yeah, I love them!" I replied, returning the grin

"They're the best!" Zoe said

"Definitely!" I agreed

"So, Ash, what are we doing today?" Zoe asked

"Well, I was thinking that us three, the guys and Phoebe could all go out for lunch?" Ashton suggested

"Sounds good," Zoe replied

"Yeah, where are we going?" I asked

"The Italian place that I took you to on your first day here?"

"Yes!" I cried

"Okay, we're meeting them there at 1:00 so we should probably leave at about 12:30 ish. Sound good?" Ashton asked

"Okay," me and Zoe chorused

We had sometime before we had to leave so me, Ash and Zoe just sat in the front room and talked, giving me and Zoe the chance to get to know each other a bit better. All my nerves from earlier disappeared and me and Zoe were soon becoming really close.

"So, how did you two meet?" I asked

"Well, the boys were doing a show in London so I, being the biggest fan ever, went along to watch. The night before the concert, I got a Twitter notification to tell me that they're was going to be a competition to win backstage passes and to have dinner with the boys. Of course, I entered, like, a bajillion times but I never thought that I would win. But it turned out luck was on my side and the backstage pass was handed to me on arrival at the venue. I was so excited!" Zoe said

"I bet you were!" I laughed

"I told myself that when I met the boys I would have to be cool and clam and not some crazed fan who would start screaming and crying at the sight of them. So at the end of the show - which was AMAZING by the way- I made my way backstage trying to keep my excitement on the down low. So I found the boy's dressing room, knocked on the door and entered. I couldn't believe that I was really meeting them and-"

"And I took one look at her and thought she was the most beautiful girl in the whole world. And I still do," Ashton interrupted

"That's so cute!" I gushed

"Yeah, it was, but you interrupted my story, so shh!" Zoe said and turned back to me. Ashton pulled a face at me from behind her back. Wow. Mature.

"So anyway, I went out to dinner with them and Ashton was the true perfect gentleman. He pulled out my chair for me, gave me his jacket when it got cold and even walked me home, even though that wasn't part of the competition. When we got to my gate and said goodbye, Ashton kissed me! And, well things just went from there..." Zoe finished

"That's beautiful," I grinned

"I try," Ashton joked.

"You're funny," I replied, sarcastically

"Did your parents approve of you dating a rock star?" I asked Zoe

"No. Not a first anyway," Zoe replied

"How did they change their minds?" I asked

"My cousin dated a rock star and she convinced my mum to let me date Ashton," Zoe explained

Zoe looked over at Ashton and I saw her mouth the words "should I tell her?". Ashton nodded but then held up his index finger to say "1 minute"

"Guys? What's going on?" I asked

"Well, you know how I said that Zoe was three quarters English and one quarter Filipino?" Ashton said

"Yeah..... So?" I replied

"That wasn't strictly true. She also has a bit of American in her," Ashton explained

"Okay... Why do you seem so serious?" I said

"Have you ever seen the show Jonas LA?" Zoe asked

"Yeah, I love it," I replied

"The girl who played Stella-"

"Chelsea Stuab?"

"Yeah, her. Anyway, you know how in the show Stella and Joe dated, on and off?"

"Yeah?"

"But what most people didn't know was that they actually dated in real life,"

"Okay?"

"And well, my cousin is Chelsea..."

"Are you saying that you know Joe, Nick and Kevin?!"

"I'm practically related to them! Chelsea and Joe and pretty serious and if they get married then I will be somehow related to them!"

"WHAT?! YOU KNEW THIS AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME?!" I cried at Ash

"Oops?" Ashton replied

"This is the coolest thing EVER!" I yelled

"Woah, calm down, girl. We have to go and meet everyone at the restaurant and you're going crazy!" Ashton laughed

I immediately tried to calm myself. I didn't want Luke to see me being a hot mess!

After I calmed down, we set off to the restaurant, me quizzing Zoe about what Jonas were really like.

"Honestly? They're the nicest guys I've ever met!" Zoe laughed

Ashton, very loudly and not so discretely, cleared his throat.

"Except you obviously!" Zoe grinned

"That's okay then!" Ash replied

"Though I would definitely get together with Nick if he asked me..." Zoe teased.

"Shut up!" Ashton said, pulling a puppy dog face

"Who could say no to that?" Zoe laughed and kissed Ash on the cheek. Those two were seriously cute! By now, we arrived at the restaurant. We entered to find Michael, Luke, Calum and Phoebe already sat down.

*Luke's p.o.v*

We all looked up when Zoe, Ashton and Alyssa entered.

"What took you so long?" Calum asked

"Yeah, I'm hungry!!" Michael whined, making us all laugh

"Man up, you big baby!" Phoebe laughed

"It wasn't our fault!" Ashton pouted

"Who's fault is it then?" I asked

"Alyssa's!" Ashton replied

"Hey!" Alyssa cried indignantly

"It was!" Ashton said

"What happened?" I grinned

"Well, basically, Alyssa found out that Zoe was almost related to Jonas!" Ashton explained

"Ohh right. Yeah, it was your fault them, definitely!" I laughed

"Shut up, Hemmings!" Alyssa laughed.

"Sit down, already! I want pizza!!" Michael yelled

"Okay, okay!" Ashton replied and they all sat down.

Ashton was on one side of me and Alyssa on the other. I needed to talk to Ash but I couldn't do it without the girls hearing. I decided to text him.

Hey, guess what?

I watched as he read the text, then looked up at me quizzically. I put my finger to my lips and then Ash nodded and replied

I have a plan for asking out Alyssa. And I'm going to do it tomorrow night!

Sorry for not updating in a while, my iPod was in the shop and I don't like updating on the computer.

This chapter's a little longer than the others so I hope that makes up for it!

Oh, and I know that Joe and Chelsea didn't really date, but can we pretend they did? Because I ship it, okay?

Oh, (again), Zoe is me, because I'm just that sad but hey, I can dream can't i? No? No, okay then
