The Sleepover

*Luke's p.o.v*

I didn't kiss her of course; it would've just been plain awkward, not only was I sure that Alyssa didn't like me like that, but Ash was watching as well. I couldn't bear to imagine what he would say if he knew what thoughts of Alyssa ran through my mind.

*Alyssa's p.o.v*

Luke was looking at me as if he was going to kiss me, and I really, really, really wanted him to. I shook my head and snapped back to reality. Why would he kiss me? I was just plain old Alyssa when he was Luke fricking Hemmings! I've seen there fanbase, and it's all girls, most of whom are breathtakingly stunning. Why would Luke look at me when he could have any of those?

*Luke's p.o.v*

Instead of kissing Alyssa, I gave her a massive victory hug and span her round in the water.

"Luke, stop, I'm getting dizzy!" She cried

"Okay, okay," I said, gently stopping her

"Thanks," she replied, slightly out of breath

"No problem," I chuckled, staring at her lips, wanting, now more than ever, to kiss her. She stared back and it was like we the only two people in the world. I looked up into her eyes, and then it hit me. Alyssa's eyes looked exactly like Ashton's - from the shape down to the Hazel/green colour. And that's why I couldn't kiss her, because she was Ashton's twin sister. I felt like ripping my hair out every time that thought popped into my head.

*Ashton's p.o.v*

Luke gave Alyssa a massive bear hug and span her round in the water.

"Luke, stop, I'm getting dizzy!" She cried

"Okay, okay," Luke said, gently stopping her

"Thanks," she replied, slightly out of breath

"No problem," Luke laughed, and stared at her. I couldn't help but notice that Luke spent a lot of time staring at Alyssa. I know that she was only four minutes younger than me, but that still makes her my younger sister and I wanted to protect her as much as possible.

While I was lost in this train of thought, I realised that they had stopped staring at each other. I shook my head of these ridiculous thoughts and checked my watch. (It was waterproof by the way, I'm not the sort of person who forgets to take their watch off and then it breaks. Come to think of it that's something Michael would do.)

"Do you want to get going?" I asked the boys and Alyssa.

"No, I don't want to go yet, I'm having too much fun!" Michael whined

"Mum said she's going to make pizza for tea!" I told him

"YES!!!! COME ON, LETS GO, I NEED PIZZA!! HURRY UP, WHAT'S TAKING YOU ALL SO LONG?!" Michael yelled, wading out the water as fast as he could

"Nice!" Calum laughed, and the four of us followed Michael out the water.

We gathered up our things and set off towards Michael's van.

"SHOTGUN!!" I yelled, as the familiar blue van came into view

"Damn!" Alyssa cried

"Told ya no one could beat me!" I laughed, winking at her. She stuck her tongue out at me and we all climbed in, me in the front next to Mikey, the Alyssa, Luke and Calum in the back. In that order. Meaning that Luke and Alyssa were sitting together. Was I imagining it or was Luke purposely trying to be with Alyssa? No, it must be my imagination, they've only known each other a couple of days.

We were all a bit tired on the way back and I almost fell asleep. I was jerked awake, however, when we went over a speed bump.

"They're supposed to slow you down, not make you speed up, Mike!" I laughed

"Yeah, yeah, whatever," Michael laughed

"How did you manage to get your driver's licence anyway?" I asked, curiously

"That my friend, is a very good question," Michael said, and I burst out laughing

"Shhh! You'll wake the others!" Michael whispered. I thought he had been talking quieter than usual. Then again, Michael was a very loud person so his "quiet voice" was the same as a person's normal voice.

"Oh right, I didn't realise!" I whispered back. "Let's take a photo of them sleeping and upload it to Twitter!"

"Good idea!" Mikey replied

I pulled out my phone and turned around in my seat. Calum was leaning against the window, his mouth open. Luke was leaning back on his chair, slumped, but Alyssa was leaning over onto Luke's shoulder, sleeping soundly. I sighed and quickly took the photo before turning back around.

"You okay?" Mikey asked me

"Yeah, I'm fine," I sighed

"No, seriously, what's up?" Mikey insisted

"Do you... Do you think Alyssa likes Luke?" I asked

"I'm not sure if she likes him...but I'm pretty sure he likes her!" Michael replied

I sighed again and leaned back in my chair, wondering what I was going to do...

We arrived at my house and I flicked all three of them in the forehead to wake them up.

"OW!" They all yelled, rubbing their heads

"Where's Michael?" Calum asked

"Where do you think?" I laughed. "He got out the car as soon as possible and is inside probably eating all our pizza!"

The three of them were out the house in a flash. I caught up to Alyssa in the doorway.

"Oh, I got Michael to invite his girlfriend to stay over tonight with the lads so you have a girl to talk to!" I told her

"Awh, thanks Ash," she replied. "I didn't know Mikey had a girlfriend!"

"Yeah, she's called Phoebe," I said

"Like in 'Friends'!" She exclaimed

"I love that show!!" I cried, laughing

"It's the best!!" Alyssa replied. "So, do you or any of the others have girlfriends?"

"Luke and Cal don't but I do," I replied

"Ooh, what's her name then?" Alyssa asked

"She's called Zoe. You can meet her soon but she's on holiday in Italy right now," I explained

"Can't wait!" Alyssa exclaimed. "Michael would love Italy! There's so much pizza!"

"That's true!" I laughed and we both walked inside to see if Mikey had left us any food.

*Alyssa's p.o.v*

I was quite excited to spend time with another girl. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love the boys like crazy but hey, a girl needs gal pals, am I right? If I honest, I was slightly nervous as I do get kinda of shy around some people. We were watching Spongebob on TV when the door bell rang.

"I'll get it," Mikey yelled, jumping up and running out of the room. He returned a moment later with a girl.

"Hey, Phoebe!" Ash, Luke and Calum chorused and waved at her

"Oh, Phoebe, this is Alyssa," Mikey introduced me. "She's Ash's twin sister!"

"Hey!" Phoebe greeted me, smiling genuinely. "I didn't know Ash had a twin!"

"Neither did we, until about a month ago!" I laughed, returning the smile

"LETS PLAY FIFA ON THE XBOX!!!" Michael yelled

"Woah, mate, we're all here, no need to yell!" Luke laughed

"Yeah," Calum agreed, pretending to be deaf in one ear

"I suck at fifa so I'll let you guys play," I said

"Yeah, me too," Phoebe agreed. "Me and Alyssa can get to know each other!"

"Okay," Ashton shrugged and the boys turned to their game.

"So, how long have you and Mikey been together?" I asked

"Oh, about 9 months," Phoebe explained

"Wow! You could have a baby in that time... I mean, if you got started right away," I laughed, quoting 'The Adventurous Adventures of One Direction'

"Oh my god, did you just quote AAOOD?!" Phoebe cried

"Yeah!" I laughed

"I love that thing!" She replied

"Same, I can't stop watching it!" I said, still laughing. "So, anyway, where did you and Michael meet?"

"We actually met ages ago in school and I had a MASSIVE crush on him! Then when Mikey dropped out of school -"

"Wait, he dropped out of school?" I asked

"Yeah, didn't you know?" Phoebe said, surprised. I shook my head and she shrugged

"So anyway, after he dropped out of school, we kinda lost touch. Then, about a year ago, we connected again over Facebook, we began meeting up, and eventually falling in love!"

"Aw, that's so cute!" I gushed

"Thanks," she smiled at me. "What about you? Any guys in your love life?"

"No, I mean, there's this one guy that I like..."

"Who?!" Phoebe cried

"I can't say, I haven't told anyone!" I replied

"Well, if you want to, you can always tell me! I'll be there for you!" Phoebe said, earnestly.

"Thanks," I replied

"Hey guys?" I asked

"What's up?" Ashton replied

"What are we doing about sleeping arrangements?" I said

"Well we can bring your mattress and mine downstairs, Lauren's as well as she's on a sleepover. We can bring Harry's down as he has recently been having nightmares so he's been sleeping in mum's double bed for the past few days. We can put them all together to make a large bed, and we can always use the sofas as well," Ashton explained

"Sounds like you figured it all out!" I laughed

"You know it," Ashton winked

"It's getting kinda late, should we bring all the mattresses down now? I asked

"Yeah, okay," Ashton replied, checking his watch. "Woah! I didn't realise it's half twelve already!"

"Yeah, neither!" Mikey laughed

Together, we pulled all the mattresses downstairs, along with various pillows, cushions, duvets and blankets. We decided that it was big enough for us all to sleep on, so we got changed and crawled into our mattress bed. Phoebe was on one end, then Michael (obviously), then Ash, then me, then Luke, and then Calum. I was next to Luke, and it felt good...

The next morning, I woke up earlier than everyone else. I had some how become intertwined with Luke during the night, our legs wrapped round each other. I wanted to stay like this forever but I didn't want to know what everyone would say to that. I carefully untangled myself and wondered into the kitchen to make a cup of tea. The kettle had just finished boiling when I heard a voice behind me

"Hey," said the voice of Phoebe

"Morning," I replied. "Want a cup of tea?"

"That would be great, thanks," Phoebe said, grinning

"So, I have to ask you," Phoebe began as I sat down at the table with two cups of tea.

"Yeah?" I asked

"That guy you were talking about last night? The one you like?" She said

"Yeah?" I repeated

"Is it Luke?"

*Ashton's p.o.v*

I woke up, and realised that Alyssa and Phoebe were already awake. I crept out the room careful not to wake the other lads. I made my way to the kitchen hoping that Alyssa would make me a cup of tea, if I asked nicely. The kitchen door was mainly closed but I could hear the two girls voices. I was about to enter when I heard something that made my ears prick up. I know that it's wrong to eavesdrop but I couldn't help myself.

"So, I have to ask you," I heard Phoebe say

"Yeah?" Alyssa's voice replied

"That guy you were talking about last night? The one you like?" Phoebe's voice again.

"Yeah?" Alyssa's voice repeated
