Training

After a few minutes I heard Po screaming across the training course. I rushed over to the edge of the platform and closed my eyes listening to where the course was. 'First rotating swirly logs with spikes swinging in the air above them. Next is a bowl like shell. After that is a field of rotating crocodile-like spikes. Then last is a platform of fire that bursts out of pipes in the floor.' I figured out. I spread my wings and got ready to take off if Po needed my help.

"Master Shifu. Look at Hana." I heard someone whisper. I crouched down for more speed. Suddenly I heard the fire in the floor go off and Po's screaming. I instantly took off. I went through a spiked ring attached to the ceiling then over the shell bowl. After that I flew through the spiked croc field without getting hit. I then flew into the fire field and dodged oncoming fire bursts. When I found Po, I grabbed him and flew him out of the fire and over to here the others are. When I landed no one said anything.

"How-how did- how did you do that?" Shifu asked shocked. I sighed stretching my wings from the weight I just lifted.

"When Po was getting knocked around I was at the edge of the course listening to where everything was. Po helped with that when he was getting hit around and screaming. After he made it to the fire field I had everything mapped out. So when Po needed my help I came rushing in without many problems." I explained. Everyone nodded still shocked.

"And you said you weren't fit for being a Kung Fu Master." Po gasped out. I shook my head.

"I didn't say that. Master Shifu did. And he's right. I'm not meant to be a Kung Fu Master, much less Dragon Warrior. You can do that but I'm not, Po." I said. I sensed that he looked at me sadly. I sighed and walked for the door. "I'll be in the sky in anyone needs me." I said then flew off.

~~~~~~I was still flying around when it was night time. I was flying over the forests when I heard people talking and I silently flew over in the direction. I flew and landed behind a big rock with Poand had to cover his mouth before he could scream. I put a feather to my mouth, shushing him. I sensed he nodded and we listened in on the conversation.

"There's no words." Mantis sighed.

"No denying that." Crane agreed. I quickly grew aggravated at the conversation.

"What was Master Oogway thinking? Those two are just going to get themselves killed." Viper said worried causing me to roll my eyes.

"He is so mighty! The Dragon Warrior fell out of the sky on a ball of fire!" Crane mocked and I narrowed my eyes.

"When he walks, the very ground shakes!" Mantis mocked too and everyone laughed at his comment.

"One would think Master Oogway would choose someone who actually knew Kung fu." Tigris said bitterly. I was getting madder each second.

"Yeah, or could at least touch his toes." Crane agreed, making fun of Po.

"Or even see his toes." Monkey commented. Everyone laughed then remembered me.

"Oh that's right. The other one can't even see! She's gonna end up killed if she continues." Mantis laughed.

"She did well in the course." Crane commented.

"She was lucky. She's nothing special." Tigris said then they all walked into the barracks. Me and Po then came out from behind the rock where we were hiding. I was furious. How could they just judge us like that? They hardly knew us! Po then attempted on seeing his toes but ended up falling over.

"Don't listen to them Po. They're wrong about you. Your going to make an amazing Dragon Warrior. They're just jealous they weren't chosen." I comforted him and I sensed he smiled at me. "Go head off to bed, I'll catch up." I said. He nodded then went off to his room. I stayed on the steps with my head pointed up at the sky. I rose my wing and touched my eyes. I sighed sadly. After a few more minutes I headed towards my room. I opened the door to what seemed like my room but apparently it wasn't.

"Ugh. Not again. Oh wait. It's just you. What do you need?" Crane asked. I sighed annoyed.

"I was just looking for my room. Sorry to disturb you." I said bitterly. He sighed.

"I'm sorry for snapping. I've had a rough day." He explained. I sighed.

"Haven't we all?" I muttered. He seemed to hear me and put a wing on my shoulder. I shrugged it off and stepped away from him and then started walked away, leaving him there. After a few steps he stopped me.

"Do you need help finding your room?" He asked me. I sighed and hesitantly nodded my head. I heard him walk up to me then he grabbed my wing, leading me down the hall. After a minute we arrived at a room. He opened the door and lead me in.

"Thanks." I said bitterly. He softly chuckled.

"You don't like asking for help do you?" He asked.

"Not really. But what I hate even more is asking for help from people that judge others without getting to know them." I said and turned away from him. I could tell he was surprised.

"Hana-" I cut Crane off before he could continue.

"Don't even try. I know. It was a complete accident that I was chosen to be Dragon Warrior but it wasn't for Po. He is kind, sweet, and caring. He has done nothing wrong to any of you but accidentally fall in between y'all and Master Oogway. But yet y'all hate him and bully him for stuff he can't help. Say what you want about me I could care less. But I don't want ANY of you making fun of Po. He is my brother. And I will protect him." I said sternly. Crane sighed.

"I'm sorry. It's just-I'm just frustrated. I thought that the Dragon Warrior would have been one of us five. But then Po comes out of nowhere crashing out of the sky." Crane chuckled at the memory. "As bad as it was it was funny." He softly said. "Everyone thinks that Oogway is wrong about you and Po being the Dragon Warriors. But after watching you go through that course I know he isn't. I know you weren't lucky to just go through that entire thing without a scratch. You were chosen for a reason." He said. I slowly turned my head to look at him. I softly smiled. "I'll be going now." Crane said after a minute. Before the door closed I called for him.

"Crane?" He opened the door a little.

"Hm?" He asked staring at me.

"Goodnight." I smiled. I sensed he smiled back.

"Goodnight Hana." He said. After that he closed my door and went to his room. I tucked my beak under my wing and stood on one leg. 'That bird.' I chuckled them slowly went to sleep.

~~~I was awoken by a gong. I quickly got out of bed and opened the doors along with everyone else.

"Good morning master." We said together standing up straight. After noticing Po wasn't out too, Shifu rushed to his room.

"Panda! Wake up! He's quit." Shifu chuckled. I shook my head glaring at Shifu.

"He didn't quit." I muttered. I could sense Tigris glaring at me. I sighed and followed Shifu out of the building. We were heading to the training room. Shifu opened the door and everyone but me froze in their spots, shocked.

"What are you doing here?!" Shifu yelled enraged. I smirked knowing I was right about him not quitting.

"Hi! Good morning, Master! I thought I'd warm up a little." Po said stretching while apparently trying to do the splits in between 2 logs.

"Your stuck." Shifu deadpanned.

"Stuck? Nah. What? Stuck? Nah. This is one of my......Yeah, I'm stuck." Po admitted.

"Help him." Shifu told Crane. I could sense Crane didn't really want to so I flew over to Po. I grabbed Po by the shoulders and lifted him off the logs. I then gently set him down on the ground.

"Thanks sis." Po thanked me. I smiled.

"No problem. I'll always help you. No matter what." I said glaring at the others.

"You actually thought you could learn to do a full split in one night? It takes years to develop one's flexibility! And years longer to apply it in combat!" Shifu said as Tigris broke something in the air, probably a split kick. I could sense that Po picked up something from the ground. "Put that down! The only souvenirs we collect here are bloody knuckles and broken bones." Shifu said. 'I'm about to have bloody knuckles giving them broken bones.' I thought to myself.

"Yeah! Excellent." Po said excited. I sighed.

"Let's get started." Shifu said and Viper was told to battle Po. Viper obviously ended up winning but Po was still happy he got to fight Viper. Next Monkey faced Po with a staff. Monkey kept hitting Po with his staff and won. Next was Crane. He easily won against Po since Po fell into the shell bowl. Po then had to battle Mantis. Mantis won. Battle after battle Po lost them all. Shifu found it aggravating how Po didn't give up. "I've been taking it easy on you, panda. But no more. Your next opponent will be me." Shifu said smirking evilly. Po seemed excited.

"All right! Yeah, let's go!" Po exclaimed. Shifu then had an evil idea.

"Hana. You will also fight me." Shifu said. Everyone gasped and I could sense that Crane was worried about me. I sighed and nodded.

"So be it." I said and stood next to Po and prepared myself. Shifu then went after Po and started twirling and spinning him. I flew up and listened to where Shifu was and what he was doing. I quickly dived down hearing an opening and tried attacking Shifu. Before Shifu could hurt Po anymore I snatched Po away and dropped him away from Shifu. I then stood protectively in front of Po blocking him from Shifu. "I'm your opponent now. Po, go rest." I ordered. He hesitantly did as told. Shifu chuckled darkly.

"Your no challenge for me. Your blind you can't do anything." Shifu said. I smirked.

"Your students weren't much of a challenge either but you still went against them no problem." I taunted. The others gasped and I heard Tigris growl. I smirked. Me and Shifu then battled each other. I held up decently but he still hit me multiple times. What he didn't know was that I wasn't fighting to battle him. I was fighting to protect Po. After a few minutes Po jumped in again.

"I got this Hana." He said confidently and I shook my head. I heard Shifu running towards him.

"Po! Move!" I yelled but I was to late. I heard Shifu hit Po and he went tumbling down the stairs. Everyone besides Shifu and Tigris gasped. The furious five walked over to watch while I stayed in a defense position against Shifu. He walked off and I relaxed after a minute making sure he was gone. I then walked over to the five.

"If he's smart, he won't come back up those steps." Tigris said causing me to growl.

"But he will." Monkey said. I heard Tigris walk off.

"He's not going to quit, is he?" Viper asked. I sighed and nodded.

"He's not going to quit bouncing, I'll tell you that." Mantis laughed but was shut up by my glare and a hiss from Viper.

"He's doing his best. It's not easy you know. We haven't been doing this as long as you guys have so cut him some slack." I said bitterly. They all sighed. I then flew off to calm down.
