Ch.09: The End of Term Test

Thanks to the efforts of BakuSquad, and the other ones, all Class 1-A passed on the written End of Term Test. However, a bigger challenge has arrived: The Practical Test!

Surprisingly, against everyone's theories, the test will not be with robots, but with heroes! The students will be in pairs and act as heroes, while their mentors are gonna be the villains.

"I'M THE LUCKIEST GUY IN THE WORLD!" yelled Sero, hugging his duo tightly.

"Unfair! I should've been the one with my Bonbon!" Kiri whined, feeling defeated.

"LET HER BREATH, TAPES!" Katsuki pushed the boy away from her, standing between both.

"Want some peanut butter to go with all this jelly, Bakugou~?" Mina teased him, while the squad walked to the waiting room to watch the first match.

"Shut up, pinky!" she giggled deviously at him, walking to hug Sisi.

"My Bonbon is so adorable today. I'm so sad we didn't get together again~!" she whined purposely squeezing the black girl all over.

"I know! We never fall together, this sucks!"

Katsuki groaned annoyed with Mina's provocations, it was like she knows something and this is infuriating. Looking sideways at them, he felt shivers around his body seeing how squeezable the black girl is, all plump and hot.

'Fuck my life.' he rolled his eyes, bringing his mind back to the real problem now: Izuku Midoriya.

Of all people, he had to fall with his enemy. To get worst, the boy didn't stop his mumbling about a plan and Katsuki just wanted to kill him right there.

Sisipho watched from distance in concern. She wanted so badly to interfere or say something, but she knows nothing about it. However, when she saw Katsuki yell at him and walk away, the girl just needed to follow the blonde.

"KATSUKI!" she called for him to stop, but was ignored. "So annoying... I may regret that."

"LEAVE ME ALONE!" he screams furious with her manipulating his body, watching the girl come into his eyesight. "Stop this now!"

"Only if you hear me out." she said crossing her arms.

"I have nothing to hear. Let me go, I need to-"

"You need to stop being so fucking stubborn, Bakugou!!" she interrupted his rambling, stomping closer and staring him dead in the eyes. "Listen here, you can't keep this attitude if you want to be a hero!"

"Fuck this shit, I'm not changing for nothing!"

"Even if you hate him you need to know how to be professional and work together! Or do you think that when we graduate all heroes will automatically love us? No! We'll have enemies even inside our agencies. But you need to learn to overcome this right now, to separate personal matters from professional ones."

Scowling at her, Katsuki said nothing, only digesting all facts she spilled at him. When he lowered his orbs, Sisipho decided to let him go.

The black girl laid her right hand over his cheek, caressing it timidly with her thumb. This made his ruby orbs go back to hers.

"I understand that I know nothing about it and shouldn't ever interfere, but this I'm doing right now is about your future, not your past. It's about the boy who trained beside me for a whole week all focused and determined! You can't let this pull you down, Kat..."

"I know! But-"

"No buts! Go in there and prove that your goal is bigger than any disagreement! Or will you let this stupid past with Deku get in your way to be a hero?"

"HELL NO! NOTHING WILL STOP ME OF BEING THE NUMBER ONE!" she smiled as see he back to his confident self. Happy that she finally managed to do something about it, even though it was just a little bit, Sisipho hugged the blonde tightly by the neck.

"Oi! What do you think are you doing?" he complained, but returned the embrace immediately, crossing his arms around her waist and nuzzling on her neck.

Their first hug and Katsuki is loving it.

"Nothing, just showing you that I'm happy that you listened to me!"

"Annoying, witch..."

"Stubborn brat..."

The two stayed like this for a few seconds more and soon Katsuki had to go for his test. Sisipho has no idea how he'll overcome his differences with Midoriya, but she hopes that the boy would at least make a better performance than the last one on their second day on Yuei.

"What's our plan, Bonbon?" Sero approached her while Bakugou and Midoriya versus All Might match is being broadcasted on the big screen.

"What do you want to do? I pretty much can just freeze her in place and we walk away from the area. Do you want to do something?"

"Actually Midnight kinda scares me, so I rather just follow your lead on this, even though I would do nothing."

"Let's do like this then..." Sisipho proceeded to explain to the dark-haired one her idea of a plan to work together.

Meanwhile, Katsuki is having a hard time dealing with the crying Midoriya. He's having mixed feelings about their situation on this test.

He doesn't want to collaborate but also doesn't want to lose.

Sisipho's words kept echoing inside his head and to his dismay, she was right. In the future, whether he likes it or not, Bakugou will need to work well with everybody for the sake of the mission.

'So be it then!' he said to himself, full of conviction.

Sisipho grinned watching him overcome the problem and successfully win the match. Sadly, right after, Denki and Mina lost against director Nezu. The black girl had a hard time comforting her cousin.

A few rounds later and Sero was by her side, walking in a misty field to fight against Midnight. Their plan is very simple...

"She's right in front of us, with nothing more than her whip as a weapon. Are you sure that you can surround the villain stealthily and tie her up?" Sisipho asked to him.

"Yes, I'll run for the right and get to her back."

"She's 13 meters away from us. If you get caught I'll stop her. Got it?"

"Got it, Bonbon!" they fist-bump and Sero ran to his plan.

The blindfolded girl kept her attention focused ahead, quietly waiting. Midnight still walking in her direction, while Sero got closer by her left side.

"Too loud..." she murmured, cringing at how his steps are hitting hard the floor. "She'll just hear you..."

And that's what exactly happened. Noticing the movement nearby, Midnight threw her whip in Sero's direction, hitting hard his leg. The boy immediately tried to get her with his tapes, but Midnight is agile.

Seeing that Sero is losing his grip in the fight, Sisipho decided to interfere. Running fast to the woman, she arrived on the scene kicking her away from the boy.

"Look who finally decided to show up!" Midnight said with disdain.

"I was trying to go easy on you, but then you just hit my friend?! No, no, no~! Not cool, villain~!" Sisi started to scold the woman like a mom to her toddler. "Bad villain! Sit down!"

Against her will, Midnight sat down abruptly. The hero is shocked by the amount of power holding her muscles in place. Even with her trying hard, she just can move a hand to use her quirk.

"Good girl, Midie~!" Sisi hold Sero's hand to pull him with her and petted the woman's head while passing by. "I knew you would let us pass. Now let's get out of here."

Forcing Midnight to escort them to the exit, Sero and Sisipho walked out triumphantly, letting a very stunned teacher behind.

Katsuki isn't even surprised by her performance. She would win easily from any hero, even EraserHead.

Soon the girl and her partner arrived in the waiting room and his eyes immediately fell on theirs still holding hands, making his face twitch in annoyance. While the others are celebrating with the winners, Mina sneaks up to Bakugou.

"Confess that you like my cousin, Bakugou~!" she whispered low to him, to don't bring the attention of the rest of the squad that is a bit away.

"The fuck are you talking about?" he asked in the same tone, looking at her from the corner of his eyes.

"No need to pretend, I already saw all the signs. I know you like Sisipho!" her conviction in saying this upset him.

"Go take care of your fucking life, pinky!"

"I am doing this! Sisi is my life! So if you'll be only an ass and rude to her, stop right now with these feelings!" she moved closer to stare into his eyes, a very serious and threatening expression. "I'm not let any stupid boy hurt my Bonbon, even you!"

"Who the fuck do you think I am, Ashido?" now he's fully facing her, angry.

"I'll be direct and clear. We all like you, Bakugou, your personality is funny and enjoyable. But if your rudeness hurt my Sisipho feelings, I'll hunt you down, worst than auntie Mandla ever would do!"

"I would never hurt her, crazy shit!" he growled, trying to keep his voice down. "That's the way I am but this doesn't mean I'll disrespect her. Sisipho is my friend too!"

"Hm, good that we're on the same page." she relaxed a bit of her tense posture, assuming one more joyful. "Now go confess to her already, you guys are too cute together."

"FUCK OFF! ISN'T LIKE THIS!" Mina laughed at him denies.

"Your blushing face says otherwise~!" with this last provocation, Mina ran from the embarrassed boy, hiding behind her cousin, which made him immediately stop.

'Fuck this, I don't have time for this bullshit of feelings.' he thought, again convincing himself to ignore the feelings and keep acting like nothing is happening.

But for how long will he be able of ignoring his heart calling for the black girl?

After a lot of apprehension among the BakuSquad, which was worried about Mina and Denki's failed test, Mr. Aizawa announced that even the one who failed will be going to the Forest Training Camp since everyone needs to improve their quirks.

Now all students are at Yuei's entrance, waiting for the bus that will take them to the Forest Lodge. For some unknown reason, Katsuki is restless. He's anxious about what they'll be learning there, but also there's this feeling on his chest...

Nostalgia.

It's impossible to not remember the internship he did on Sisipho's side a few weeks ago. Now again the two will be training in a forest together. He holds in a special space in his heart the memories of that week and now he has this feeling that it'll be just like that time. If he's lucky, even better.

'I need to stop with all these expectations...' he sighed, trying to calm down his heart. But all of this fell over the floor when a sweet voice called his name enthusiastically.

Running to him is Sisipho, all hyped for the trip. Katsuki is flabbergasted seeing her all dressed up with hair made into a cute hairstyle, little to nothing makeup on her eyes and lips, and also using a pretty outfit.

Sisi opted for a white t-shirt tucked into a dark brown miniskirt and a grey cropped jacket. Wanting to be super comfy, she chose a sport tennis shoes to finish the outfit.

Bakugou's mouth gaped eyeing her up and down.

"Morning, Kat!" she gave him a quick hug and a shy peck on the cheek, that let them both slightly flushed. "Anxious for our big trip?!"

"Ha! I bet it won't be as cool as the one in your forest." he smirked seeing her eyes shining.

"Aw~ I'm happy you liked that week this much! I agree, nothing will surpass that time, it was so funny!"

The teens kept talking about their internship and other things until the rest of the squad came around. All of them were excited about the camp and shared their guesses about the activities they'll have there.

Soon Mr. Aizawa was orienting the students to take their places on the bus. Sisipho obligated Mina to sit with Eijirou after both spent all night chatting about boys and feelings, a subject brought up by the pinky girl herself.

And Sisipho got to sit with Bakugou, just as Mina obligated her to.

The one-hour trip was really funny with all class chatting and joking around. Katsuki noticed how closer Sisi is seating to him, leaning a bit on his left shoulder while watching the scenario from her window.

"I liked your hairstyle..." he whispered for only her to hear, his eyes scanning the flushed expression on her face.

"Really? T-Thanks, Katsuki... Mina did it to me, also my nails." she showed him her hands. "I also did hers."

"Why so much damn glitter? We're about to get dirty on earth and mud."

"I dunno. I found it cute." she pouted smiling and admiring her designed nails.

"So girly..."

"If you want I can be more of a macho man~!" full of silliness, Sisi laughed at his disgusted expression, leaning her head on his shoulder and sighing dreamily.

Looking around and making sure no one is seeing it, Katsuki decided just to let her be and not yell her out, enjoying the moment with the touchy black girl. She really doesn't have any restraint in expressing herself, no shame.

He likes this on her because it kinda forces him to face some unexpected and unique situations. Forces in a good way, because Katsuki always feels euphoric in these cases.

Just like now, a situation that he wouldn't ever dream about, where a beautiful girl is leaning so peacefully against him and enjoying the view outside the moving bus.

That isn't the unexpected aspect, but that he is liking every single second of it, his heart beating hard and yet is so calm. It's odd, new, strange... But Katsuki is starting to love those tiny moments more and more each time.

Sighing deeply, he decided to stop thinking about his stubborn and conflicted feelings and just keep himself in the present, wanting this to last forever.

So, leaning his head over Sisi's, Katsuki just lived the moment.

However a "restroom break" happened out of nowhere; in a moment the students were meeting the heroes from The Pussycats heroes group and in the other, the class was being dragged by an avalanche of earth, down to a cliff.

All of them fell on the edge of the forest and have until sunset to reach the base. The class groaned in annoyance for being forced to work as soon as they arrived.

Meanwhile, Katsuki and Sisipho shared a known smirk, already feeling at home in this situation. Soon both ran inside the forest, fighting their way to the base against some monsters made of clay, created by the Pussycats.

Both use everything they learned with Amazon, jumping around, climbing trees, and being efficient in each attack.

After three hours of exhausting combat, they arrived dirty, sweaty, and starving. The heroes congratulated them for their efforts and soon everyone was eating a delicious meal.

And this is only the beginning of their adventure at the Forest Training Camp!
