I'm sorry for not updating for so long, I'm so caught up with my new story that I forgot to update.
I think I've been losing my edge in writing recently. Probably I'm lacking on passion and inspiration :(
Third Person's POV
Tenzo stared at the giant tree infront of him before walking towards it. Placing his hand on the trunk he hissed under his breath as he grit his teeth in frustration.
"Tch. That bastard escaped."
He clutched his bleeding shoulder in pain before dropping on the ground exhausted. Closing his eyes to take numerous breaths, he opened them once again staring at the two fallen ANBU lying lifeless on the cold floor.
All he could remember was that they were attacked by a masked oni when they were fighting the Sand and Sound ninjas. He managed to counter attack however he lost two of his subordinates.
Blood dripped on the ground echoing inside a secluded building as Lhexi stumble around towards the corner of the room. Holding back her cries as she hold her stomach that was pierced with a sharp piece of wood.
Removing her red mask to get out of the suffocation, her trembling fingers trailed on the sharp edge of the lumber, purposely trying to pull it out in one quick motion. She bit her lower lip to shut her mouth from creating any noises until a crimson liquid began pouring down her chin.
She stared down at the hole on her stomach before her hands glowed green. She's losing more blood than she thought, at this rate she's gonna die soon. She can't possibly heal herself alone when she was lacking chakra.
She didn't knew they were that strong. She underestimated them, however she killed two of them. Two among the people who killed her clan. Lhexi could have gotten Tenzou if she didn't bring her guard down when he was pretending to be dead.
A sinister smile crept up to her face before she erupted into a fit of giggles and laughs. She wasn't even halfway there 'cause she's just starting. The finish line is still too far ahead of her.
Two men down, six more to go.
Hearing several more explosions, she looked outside the broken window her eyes widening at the beautiful sight. Be it Leaf, Sand, or Sound ninjas, they all stopped when the sky turned cloudy and snow white tears began falling.
Yamanaka Inoichi extended his hand to catch one snow drop before looking up.
"Yuki?"
Shikaku chuckled under his breath and relaxed his shoulders. "That guy sure took his time. Everyone, from this point on. Don't make a single movement!"
The Leaf shinobis were all confuse but, nontheless obeyed his orders. Kyuuji's eyes were darker than the night sky as he raised his hand up.
"It doesn't matter who you are, anyone who dares destroy my village shall be executed."
The snow stopped floating midair before they began crystalizing into sharp ice spikes that hovered all around the village.
"Hidden Art: Great Purge of the Darkness!"
His hands glowed blue before waving it down and the lances obeyed his movements shooting themselves into the enemies. It was as if they had eyes that they could tell the enemies from the Leaf shinobis. Almost half of the enemies were wiped out in an instant.
Lhexi silently watched the Sand and Sound ninjas either freeze or get stabbed with spikes. Reaching for her mask, her ears perked up upon hearing the glass shatter. She was instinctive enough to realize something sharp was about to impale her but, her body won't catch up to her mind.
Thinking she was gonna get killed, she creased her eyes shut and said her silent prayers. Feeling nothing, her eyelashes flittered as she look at the back of a cloaked man before her who saved her from getting killed.
"Who...are you?"
A low chuckle escaped from the mysterious man's lips before he turned around.
"I believe this is our first meeting. Can't I get atleast a few words of gratitude first?"
Lhexi looked alarmed at the man with a mask, the ANBU units usually wear. A fox.
"You have my appreciation. Now my turn, why did you save me? Just who the hell are you?"
The masked ninja crouched down to her level, his cloak fluttering a bit.
"That should be my line. You...just who the hell are you?"
He inched his head towards Lhexi's eyes who remained still, assessing every inch of her face. He raised his hand before gently tracing her cheeks with his fingers.
"For someone who conducted multiple misdeeds, you have quite the innocent pretty face here. I really shouldn't judge a book by its cover."
She smacked his hand away before he could even lecherously touch her.
"I asked you a question that you are to answer.", she growled.
He placed his arms on his knees before playfully grumbling.
"So ferocious for a little girl. Anyway, what do you wanna know? My name or my identity?"
The black haired internally sighed at the man child infront of her. "Both."
His glossy lips quivered into a small smile before he placed his hand on the bottom corner of his mask.
Fixing it.
"Don't worry, I'll tell you soon enough but not in the mean time."
He stood up, his eyes trailing down to the hole on her abdomen showing some of her flesh. Reaching for something in his robe, he pulled it out before dropping the pouch infront of the girl.
"You might need this, it will help that small wound. But, I guess its too early for you to be brought to my lord."
Her eyebrows creased in confusion. "What do you mean?"
"We'll meet again and I'll take you with me when that time comes."
Just like that, the cloaked man disappeared in a swirl of leaves and Lhexi was left dumbfounded before reaching for the pouch. Opening it, she found white pills.
She contemplated first whether to take it or not before swallowing one in the end. She have to take the risk if she wants to survive.
A few minutes of silence mixed with war cries and metals clashing against each other from outside the building. The pain finally ceased away and her wounds were closing in a slow pace however she was grateful it was healing.
Removing her cloak, she sealed it into a scroll together with the oni mask before focibly standing up. Walking towards the hallway as she deeply think who the hell that man was.
Blood splattered on Kyuuji's face as he strike the enemies with his sword, giving them a quick and painless death. His eyes darted from the ninjas about to strike him to the corners of the area before he jumped on air and froze the entire zone below him leaving the ninjas paralyzed inside the iced shell.
He ran to the next street, clearing the road from the foes while looking for a black haired girl. She was on the stadium the last time he saw her but, she was nowhere in sight no matter where he look at.
'That child...where could she have gone to?'
That last thing he could imagine right now is her lifeless body. Trying his best not to show his frustrations on his face, he slashed into a man's body, splitting his spine into two instilling fear even in his allies.
There was a certain reason why he was called the Cursed Blade of Konoha. He was cursed with a fate of making everybody fear him just by the tip of his sword. He have taken countless lives before he even reached adulthood making him renowned all through out the continent.
However, the man whom ninjas from other lands fear, is currently getting strangled by anxiety and uneasiness for his beloved student.
"Where the hell are you? ¡¿Lhexi?"
Another set of explosions were set ablaze shaking the ground followed by the simultaneous presence of smoke. People heard rumbles, looking up to find a huge terrifying serpent swinging its wings, tails and huge claws around the place, destroying buildings and killing people.
His scales resembled the color of darkness, their eyes a deep shade of aureate purple akin to his mother. Weapons dropped on the floor speechless.
Be they allies or not,
They were all gonna die.
Lhexi laughed in satisfaction as she watch her summon wreck havoc. Massive wings flapped in the air, whacking people off their feet, sending them flying away.
"More! More! Tear down this baneful village! Leave nothing behind!"
Stretching her arms widespread proud and insane ignoring the blood transuding her mouth as she stood on top of the hokage's monument, particularly on the Yondaime's head statue.
Jiraiya's eyes dilated in uttered loss for words. He already had his hands full from fighting the three headed snake and now a dragon?
Biting his thumb, he summoned yet another great toad who had a nasty personality and short temper.
"Not yet again! Jiraiya!", bellowed the Chief Toad.
Jiraiya awkwardly scratched the back of his neck. "Mah, I need your help as old time pals."
The Chief Toad scoffed as he scrutinized his eyes at the serpent.
"Can you do it?"
"Don't underestimate me! That brat don't compare to me."
Jiraiya looked down at the back of the toad. "Agressive and prideful as always."
"Tch. That one is still a child, newborn to be exact."
Jiraiya raised his eyebrows in confusion before looking up. "A child?"
"Yeah. If that was an adult, it would have been real trouble. It doesn't have enough control over its power yet."
"How do you know?"
The Great Toad leaped into the sky. "Enough questions!", he unsheated his sword before striking it down, flaming it afterwards.
The purple eyed girl creased her eyebrows in annoyance at the appearance of the Chief Toad. A cloud of smoke poofed into her shoulder revealing the Chief Lizard.
"Mount. Mobyoku's Chief Toad eh?"
A dark shadow loomed over Lhexi's eyes as she sent telepathy to her dragon.
"If you defeat them, mother will be happy."
Thunder roared in the sky as the black serpent unfolded its eyes striking the Chief Toad with his claws, the burn on his scales dissapearing. He ignored the pain on his body just to make his mother happy.
"Asuna-chi! Stop this! You're killing him!"
The girl ignored the lizard's rumbling and shifted her attention to the brown haired male who was riding on a large hawk.
"Kyuuji...we should end our ill-fated relationship today.", she sent another voice mail to her dragon before grinning wickedly. "Ryuujin, kill the man who made mother unhappy."
Kyuuji formed handseals and was about to fire his attack when a strong gust of wind tackled him off his summon. Looking to the side while falling midair, he saw huge claws aiming to hit him.
Crossing his arms he froze Ryuujin's claws as it reached him before he landed on his hawk's back. He formed spears and flung it towards the dragon stabbing him on different sides of his body.
"Argh. These fuckers..."
Gritting her teeth in frustration, she was about to summon another beast after smearing her hands with blood when she fell down on her knees, puking blood.
"You've hit your limit, Asuna-chi. Take a rest. This is not yet the right time."
Lhexi punched the ground, creating a small crack on the surface as Ryuujin dissapeared into a cloud of smoke becoming a small baby creature after returning into its homeland. The Chief Toad smirked until he also disappeared into thin air, appearing pissed off below a particular brat who grinned proud at his summon.
"And when will that right time come?", Lhexi bellowed, flame burning in her eyes as her chest pump with the beat of a thunder.
The Chief Lizard sighed before speaking. "There is always a right time and right place for everything in this world. If you try to force everything to happen at the same time, you're the one who's gonna suffer in the end."
"You speak as if you know everything about me."
"I do not know what exactly happened to you in the past and now the present, however I do know what will happen to you in the future.", his gaze was stern and yet there was gentleness in it.
Darkness clouded the girl's thoughts upon hearing several footsteps behind her.
"We have received an intel that the one who summoned that dragon was here."
She rose up on her feet waving her hand on her face changing her expression in split moment. The Chief Lizard hid by turning himself invisible, much to Lhexi's pleasure.
Turning around, she walked up to the rest of the shinobi who looked at her in slight shock and worry.
"Alexa-chan! You alright?"
'I don't even know this guy and yet he talks to me on first name basis.'
Soon she was surrounded by them and she made a mask hiding her true intention as she carefully analyze their capabilities and strength.
'Nothing special, just several Chunins. One...two...three...five...I can probably take them all on.'
"I'm fine, just a little scratch.", she touched her abdomen wincing slightly.
"You're definitely not alright! Did you fought someone up here?"
"Quick someone take her to a medic!"
"Did you saw their face or appearance? Anything striking?"
"Yes. I did saw them.", they all stood aback before questioning her with more questions.
Annoying...
Noisy...
Pesky human beings...
"From what I can remember he went that way.", she pointed the south east direction causing all of them to look towards it. "I managed to get him a few cuts until his summon disappeared...but, he still got away. I'm sorry...", she gave them a teary eyed look and they all waved their hands.
"No kid, it's alright. It's a huge feat for an incoming chunin like you.", the other's attention shifted to the opposite direction.
She took this chance to grab a hold of one Chunin's vest causing him to look at her. "You okay?", he asked and she motioned him to come closer.
"The truth is...". He did so and Lhexi slowly leaned on his ear as she stood on her tippy toes. "...I was joking..."
He flinched at the sudden cold voice and blood splashed on her face as she looks back at him with a nasty grin on her face. A cloying giggle followed afterwards, causing the leaf shinobi to glare down at her with unbelieving eyes.
"You...argh..!"
She twisted her sword drawing more blood to drop on the ground. His vision darkened and he clutched on her arms trying to hold her still until someone notices. To his misfortune, no one was able to see the murder of their comrade and he was left there staring back at a wolf under the diguise of a sheep.
Lhexi caught his dead body in her arms pushing him back slightly bringing him to land on the ground with the side of his body.
One looked back upon hearing something falling to the ground only to get his eyes slashed then had a sword pierce through his head. The other three caught Lhexi in the act and she only grinned as she explodes into a fit of laughter.
"Baka~♡"
They were all stupefied in that moment trying to process what the hell just transpired giving Lhexi the upperhand on attacking first.
Her sword was blocked and two of them slashed behind her.
The sound of their metal weapons snapping into two caught them in distraught as they look in disbelief at their broken swords and frozen arms.
Thin rods made of ice pierced their chests and Lhexi giggled in satisfaction as she looks behind.
"You traitor!!"
She tilted her head to the man who was frozen still. She licked the blood off her katana with an insane expression.
The shinobi's anguished scream resonated in her ears as she slowly tortured him. Cutting off another finger joining in with the other six.
"Fuck you! You goddamned bitch!"
"Huehehe~", a crimson colored liquid splashed on her face as she pulla out his organs in the most horrid and abhorrent way during broad daylight on the open field.
"W...hy?"
Her lips curved up in wicked delight before replying with a dark and gruesome expression that painted the world black for the Shinobi in every word that escaped from her lips.
"Because I'm a devil."
She finally brought end to his life after skinning his face alive that he died in fear and shock not even before she could finally twist out his heart.
The Chief Lizard named Guru who watched every nightmarish scene with a twisted stomach shifted his eyes on Lhexi who stared back at him smiling ear to ear. No sign of resemblance to when he first met her as a newborn.
'What a terrifying child...no...devil should I say? She's just like that woman...someone who should have never existed in the first place...'
